Thank GOD I don't live here so I don't ever have to come back. This was the worst place ever. First of all I came in early and the whole place smelled like a wet mop. I came in for a gel manicure and pedicure. Why do they have two different sections for both?? I went over to the manicure section. She put foil and acetone on my nails and then I had to walk over to my pedicure station. she left on the aluminum foil with the acetone for exactly 42 minutes. My nails are fried. I told her it was burning and she proceeded to then wrap my hands with a warm towel. Keep in mind, my nails still hard aluminum foil with acetone on them. When you took them off, my nails were misshapen. She goes "oh I don't know what happened. Maybe your nails are too long". Im literally tearing up on the chair. She also did not even manicure my nails. I went home and I had more cuticle than ever. I had to cut my cuticles at home. My nails are paper thin. She proceeded to put only one layer of gel, red, and one layer of the clearcoat. My nails literally feel like a sheet of paper. She goes by Laura. I'm very sad my nails are ruined.... read more

My husband and I went for pedicures I had a male manicurist,he seemed kind of mean between my husband and my pedicure and my mani no polish on my fingers just cut and cleaned nails .It was 110.00 Ok then I gave him a card with $15. off gift card Which I don't think he took the $15 off I asked him for my cc receipt he seemed perturbed I asked the cashier for my reciept he gave me a reprint why did,nt he give me the original in the first place.I usually go on the weekends the cashier was different than the usual one. I don't think I'll be going back there we usually just put get pedis usually 68 for 2 of us so they offered messages with the peds that's why it was so much,the place is nice and roomy and clean but I did,nt like the manicurist. read more

Clean and nice tranquil decor. Nice manicures, I like that she took her time while doing my cuticles! Decent (free) massage during my mani. I like that they play real music that is mostly like an upbeat dance genre. The lavender pedicure was nice and they gave a relaxing, delicate massage. My toes came out nice. read more

I dropped in for a regular manicure with my friend, and I am incredibly disappointed. They say you get what you pay for, and at $10 I wasn't expecting the moon and the stars, but my local spot on Long Island charges $7 and they do a fantastic job. My central complaint: SANITIZE. YOUR. INSTRUMENTS. I witnessed my nail tech take the same cuticle clipper out from a drawer beneath her work station that was used on a previous client and proceed to use it on me. Not only did she do an incredibly poor job of clipping my cuticles - they are jagged and uneven - but she also managed to cut me really deeply on my middle finger. Thé manicure is gunky and not smooth, the edges are not even, and this lady managed to throw in an insult about my eyebrows to boot. 'Are you waxing eyebrows?' 'No, no thank you' 'Oh REALLY?! No wax?' And proceeds to point at my face and indicate that I should really get it done. ^even if i did wax my eyebrows with any regularity (I don't, I've never touched them and I don't need to), it is none of her business to make faces at me and suggest they look terrible Going to remove the manicure as soon as I get home. BEWARE: THEY WILL USE THE INCORRECT TOP COAT ON YOUR NAILS (UV GEL/DIP POWDER/ETC) AND BELIEVE ME, IT MATTERS. Gave them two chances, not coming back here again. The first time I went, I believe the nail tech who did my nails was Michelle. Shes a bit older than the techs, and was nice. There was one other person there, and it was 1:30 in the afternoon. The service I got was the dip power. At the end of the service, it seems like she did not let my nails dry all the way, because when she did the finishing hand-massage-followed-by-hot-towel bit, it left towel fibers ALL OVER my nails. She looked at me and said it was MY fault, that I didnt let my nails dry all the way. Um, what the hell????? I looked at her, extremely confused, and nervously laughed it off. Then, she proceeds to file off the top coat, and instead of using the dip power top coat, uses UV GEL TOP COAT. she instructs me to put my hands under the UV lamp, then sends me on my way. The next day, bubbles formed on my nails at work, and by the end of the day the uv top coat was bubbling on all of my nails, COMING OFF. It left my nails looking ugly and spotty. I went back the next day and told them what was happening, and that i could barely do anything without the top coat coming off. Michelle sat me down and filed off the top coat, and, once again, put another UV GEL top coat. I put my hands under the UV lamp again and left. Lo and behold, two days later, the top coat comes off in the shower. At this point i wanted to go in and just get a refund. I spoke to my coworker who goes to the same nail salon, and told me to speak to the Manager, Tina. She was also having issues with a certain nail tech and said Tina had solved the problem for her. I called up Tina, told her i did NOT want Michelle fixing my nails, and that she used UV GEL top coat which is why i was coming in everyday to get them fixed. She told me to come in and i did, and they finally used the CORRECT top coat on my nails and i had NO PROBLEM after that. As i left, Tina apologized and told me that her girls were "rushing" and "very busy". If im paying for a service (and an expensive one at that), I expect NO RUSHING or hurrying of any kind. Not only that, the salon was EMPTY on a TUESDAY at 1:30pm. I should have just stayed away after that fiasco, but i decided to try again. I went two weeks ago because i had a wedding that weekend, and the nail tech who helped me was Lulu. She was nice, i really liked her work, and my nails looked good, until it came to the top coat, AGAIN. She used the correct top coat on all my nails BUT MY PINKY. The same UV GEL TOP COAT WAS USED ON ONE PINKY NAIL. The whole time they were conserving, and I imagine the uv gel top coat on my one pinky was probably to prove some kind of point. I did not go back to get it fixed because the next day i was out of the country for the wedding. Make no mistake my pinky was destroyed the next day, but because it was my pinky the damage wasnt as prominent. Anyway, not coming back here again. I would suggest you stay away too. I've been to this place twice both times to redeem a gift card. The first time I got the UV gel tips and two of them broke off in the first 24 hrs. Plus when you try to redeem a gift card they up the price so they get more cash. For example, I brought my sister for the prom special which was $25. When we went to use her $10 gift card they told us if we used the gift card it was $35. I don't know about you but gift cards are usually money someone else already paid so that when you use it you don't have to. So for them to up the price to get the same amount of money is a scam and I'm pretty it's illegal. read more

I asked for a ombré gel nail with tip and they ruined my cousin and I's nails. They were uneven, and extremely thick, and confused us on the prices. We came back after eating (because it took 2+ to finish and we we starving) and had to wait and 1+ to even get them to fix it. Not sure if we will even be able to get them fixed at this point. So disappointed in the service. Do not recommend. Edit: they never acknowledged us sitting there for an hour and we left, my nails were never fixed. I spent EIGHTY dollars on this manicure for my birthday. I am infuriated. Don't pretend to do a nail pattern if you don't know how. Don't rush a job just because you are busy. read more

Being from Massachusetts, this whole concept of a free back massage while your manicure dries is completely new to me. And I love it. Now at Coco, the massage happens both during the manicure.. and while drying. And it's amazing. Usually I am very fidgety during a manicure session.. but with the massage distracting me, I almost wished it went on longer. Coco is super clean, and very comfortable. The ladies are all very friendly and just happy to assist. And, the manicure lasted almost a week.. which for me, is something of a record. So worth the $10. Every week. read more

Rushed a $65 pedicure today! I'm pissed. If you're busy you tell someone you can't take them. You don't be greedy and give a crappy pedicure because you want the money. Was supposed to get 15 minute foot reflexology w/ hot stones but it was more like 6 minutes of a lame massage with literally 20 seconds of hot stones. I counted. You are also supposed to get a 10 minute back rub included in the price. Nope. Nothing. They also seemed pretty annoyed I was using a gift certificate for a portion of the cost. I highly doubt I'll ever be back to this place. I'll stick with my place in norwalk even though it's a 15-20 minute drive. I managed to find a place in CT that did shellac nails for less than $70 which was a small miracle. I'm so used to getting OPI Axxium and Gelish done whenever and wherever I want on the west coast for like $30 I guess I was spoiled. Got a basic pedicure about 2 weeks ago. Girl did a great job, was super happy and it still looks great. Now for the nails.. 3 different people worked on my nails. This always gives me anxiety because I start worrying about the tip situation and wondering why can't just one person do them. The first girl did the prepping, she was fun and super nice and made great conversation. The second woman that worked on my nails took her time and was very meticulous but didn't talk at all, and when I tried to talk to her she just nodded even though she definitely understood and spoke english. I should mention that while the second woman was working on my nails, one of the other ladies that worked there was hovering over the nail station the entire time and continuously talking to her in Korean. THEN there was a walk in for an eyebrow wax. This is when it all went really wrong. The 2nd woman got up to help the girl and I ended up with the front desk woman painting shellac on my nails. If it had been standard nail polish it would have been fine but i KNOW shellac and colored gel nails in general need to be painted on and cured under the UV lamp a certain way otherwise they get drippy and weird. Needless to say by the time lady #2 got back to help me again my nails were an absolute disaster. She was visibly upset and irritated and started trying to paint more of the shellac over the messed up parts and cure them again in order to fix them while she is yelling at and scolding lady #3.. Mind you, this entire time nobody has said a single word to me (not even a "hey be right back, she's going to fill in for me for a sec" or "hey sorry your nails look absolutely bunk I'll totally fix them") and I'm sitting there like a moron wondering what to do.. So finally I asked "Is everything ok?" again I got ignored and got the nod. 45 minutes later (add that to the 45 mins it already took to mess them up) and I have nails filed down to the bed and a new set of shellac. They looked okay but I definitely demanded a discount and was given one but still, no apology, no explanation, nothing.. In my opinion that is not customer service so I will not be returning to this location for my nails.. I will just stick to their pedicures. read more

My mother and I have been going to this nail salon for the past 6 months or so. I had a coupon and a gift card to use. Before sitting down in the chair to get their services, I asked if it was okay to use the coupon for my pedicure, pay the difference in cash and to pay the difference of my full set from my gift card, with cash. I was told it would be fine as long as I paid the difference. Go to pay so that my nails could be finished, the OWNER then tells me I cannot use my coupon and gift card and must only use one. I assured her that one of her workers told me it was okay and she continued to blame me as if I was the one who didn't understand. Needless to say she wanted me to pay $110 for my pedicure and full set (which wasn't happening) then reduced it to $55 to pay for my full set (which also wasn't happening) considering the difference for both and what I was willing to pay was $35. The OWNER threatened that because the staff had given me false information, that I caused the girl to lose her job. There were other customers in the salon. She then called me stupid and threatened to call the police. The services and disrespect that I endured with this salon, has put a bad taste in my mouth. The owner out of anyone else was beyond disrespectful. The owner then tried to rush me out of the salon, knowing my nails weren't dried. That resulted in one of the staff having to fix my nails not once, but twice. Being called stupid, getting crappy service & the disrespect, has resulted in me never going to that salon again.
