Horrible customer service and service quality. I've been going to this nail shop for over 6 months. Each time the service declined. This last visit, I was cut by the nail tech. When it came time to pay, I assumed they would provide some type of compensation. That didn't happen so I asked. Even if they would have offered to deduct $5, I would have appreciated the gesture. They instead argued with me and charged me full price after cutting me. My recommendation is to stay far away from this nail shop. It's crazy to pay for a service financially and physically. I wanted to try a new nail salon, so I chose CoCo Nail Bar. I saw a girl named Sarah who was very nice, soft spoken, and did a great job. I requested a dip powder with a design, she did excellent on the design. They had a great variety of colors to choose from and she did the dip correctly (without all the excess UV Light). It was nice to find a salon that does dip properly, my whole purpose of dip is to avoid the light with gel nails. The salon itself looked renovated and clean. I did dock a star because on their website there was no mention of a 3.5% up charge for using a credit card or when booking. Had I known, I would have brought cash to avoid this fee. read more

I had a really disappointing experience at Coco Nail Bar. I honestly don't usually write reviews and I normally don't care enough to, but this experience was bad enough that I feel like I need to say something. I went in for a dip powder French tip on my natural nails, and I specifically told the nail tech multiple times that I did NOT want my nails any shorter. I had finally grown them out to a length I loved (which is not easy for me), and that was really important to me. Despite that, she filed them down extremely short without asking or checking with me first. On top of that, she didn't even ask what base color I wanted for the French tip. She just chose a pink shade on her own that didn't match my skin tone at all. When I tried to speak up about it, she brushed me off and told me it would look better at the end--which it didn't. When the service was finished, my nails looked nothing like what I asked for. The length was completely gone, and the overall result was honestly very disappointing. What made the experience even worse was how I was treated when I tried to calmly explain what I didn't like. I was not rude--I was simply communicating because I have a big event coming up and wanted my nails to look good. Instead of listening, the staff immediately became defensive, talked over me, and treated me as if I was attacking them. They dismissed everything I said and made me feel like I was overreacting, rather than acknowledging that I was unhappy with the service. It honestly felt like they cared more about being "right" than fixing a clearly bad job. As a paying customer, that is completely unacceptable. Then they charged me $79 for a service that was not done as requested and that I was clearly unhappy with. I came in excited and left upset, frustrated, and disrespected. This was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you care about your nail length, your preferences, and being treated with basic respect, go somewhere else. read more

Really enjoyed it here! I called a few hours ahead to make sure they took walk-ins/last minute appointments. Luckily, I was able to snag a pedicure spot for that evening. Glad I did, because the chairs filled up quick after 5pm! The space itself is so clean and beautiful! Felt like I was in a luxury spa. The chairs were extremely comfortable and clean. They have an extensive menu showing all the pedicure spa options, as well as their other services, along with their prices. Highly recommend this spot for pedicures! I loved it here, but the service has declined for a while now. The last straw was yesterday- photos attached. I made an appointment for a group mani/pedi and they seemed surprised when we arrived. Sarah did my $63 gel pedicure (poorly). I noticed a few imperfections so Lisa (who usually does a great job) fixed a few things because Sarah had left. When she inspected things closely, she chuckled and shook her head, but I could not tell anything was really wrong with the polish at that time. They told me to wait for someone else to do my mani. I waited at least 30 minutes for a mani and spoke up when I noticed they helped another walk in before me. They offered to do my mani past their closing time, but I declined because I didn't want them to rush and do a poor job. 24 hours later, I noticed my polish starting peeling. I tried to push it down and clearly felt sticky gel polish underneath. The polish is quickly separating and peeling back. I called and spoke to a man who apologized and offered to fix it, but they couldn't take me that evening since it was too close to their closing time. Unfortunately, I have a flight in the morning before they open so I can't go in tomorrow. I asked for a credit since they couldn't take me that evening, but he said no and asked why I didnt notice sooner. I explained I just noticed it peeling and he kept asking how I didn't notice and call sooner. Several times lately, when I (or other people I know) make an appointment with specific people and they don't honor it. When I arrive the tech isn't working or they say that person is booked and wont be able to take me. The only option is for someone else to do it. Some techs are great, but I am very dissapointed with the service and how they handled this situation. I will look for another salon :( read more

Came here for the first time with a friend and we made an appointment. I had asked for a full acrylic set for a friends wedding I'm going to do I wanted a simple but sure design. I showed Ryan the picture and honestly he was very through and detailed. He was friendly and I love how my nails look. The only downside is that it is pricey compared to some places but you do get well done nails here so for the quality I think that it could be worth it. My nail tech of 5 years moved out of the country, so I decided to try CoCo Nail Bar. Nhu was good, but then she left after about 3 months; I moved to Mina. Mina was great but then she also left after a few weeks. Yesterday I went for a fill and it was not the best experience.The person I had gave ZERO attention to my cuticles (both mani and pedi), she seemed confused and forgot where she was in the process. I mentioned my cuticles and she said "later". She then polished my nails and clipped "at" my cuticles. The polish looks very heavy and thick, like a grade school child did it. I left looking like I got my fill two weeks ago. I immediately called back after I left because I was not pleased and was told I could come in at 9am this morning. When I arrive the person at the desk basically said too bad we don't do cuticles during a fill...EVERY SINGLE FILL I have had my cuticles done. If you are looking for someone who cares about detail and their work, avoid this salon. Also, if someone could give me a nail tech recommendation, it would be appreciated. read more

The nail salon is clean and they have plenty of techs working to help patrons coming in and out of the salon. I had made an appointment the day prior so I was lucky to get in quickly once I arrived. So I made an appointment. Drove an hour away, and got there and they had me waiting for 30 mins and then told me after 30 mins they can't take me. Prior to that I had called them to make the appointment and I said if it's too late, please let me know so that way I don't have to drive out there and then you tell me that you can't take me. This ppl their wasn't friendly and obviously don't understand that that's not how you do business. They acted like they didn't understand me but clearly we speak the same language, but turn around and can talk trash about the next person in Vietnamese. I enjoyed my recent visit to Coco Nail bar for a gel mani and pedicure. The massage chairs were awesome, service was very friendly and they're very detail oriented in polishing. I really appreciated them squeezing me in at the end of the day. The place is also very clean and beautiful. The only downside is that the massage for hands and feet was pretty nonexistent; they just applied lotion for less than a minute. My mani is still going strong on day 10 though! I asked for a French tip ombre full set acrylic. I specifically asked for a nude base color because they asked if I wanted white and pink. The guy who worked on my nails didn't check with me during the process. Didn't touch cuticles at all. He put on way too much acrylic paste and didn't file it down enough. He started with a white base and put too much that it was no longer French, just regular ombre. This has never happened before when I gotten acrylics from other nails salons, but I suddenly felt a painful burning sensation on my thumb nail after the acrylic dip powder was applied. After scrambling for a bit, he doused my nail in acetone and just kept working on my other hand as if nothing happened. The entire process felt very rushed. He kept glancing over my shoulder to watch other workers for some reason. I don't mind the lack of conversation but at least check in with me before you apply the color or top coat? Once he finished, then he asked how I liked it. I told him the acrylics were applied too thick but he said it was normal? I guess it's a personal preference sort of thing but I've had thinner from other places prior. On closer inspection, the thumb nail has a crack and air bubbles formed under the top gel coat because he did a rush job of globbing it on. It's shaped like a sad face, just like how I feel. Overall the ombre looks great but the quality of work is less than to be desired. If I ever do return, I will avoid this guy. Seems like others have had a negative experience with him as well. read more

I thought this was my go to spot for getting my acrylics done due to having an amazing experience with my pedicure but unfortunately the first time I got acrylics it seems like the top of my acrylic nails are loose? Not sure what happened but it is like almost lifting from the top barely a week has gone by and total cost of $120.
