This place still offers affordable manicures and pedicures with late hours. Parking is available in the lot or metered spots right outside. I can only speak for the basic mani and pedi's, as I haven't done any of their higher end services. Basic pedicure is only $22 (I paid in cash, YMMV if you pay with card). This local salon is no frills, and not fancy. Pedicure massage chairs are a little worn, as is the furniture, and some of the polishes look like they should be removed or refreshed, but that could also speak to their loyalty customer base in the neighborhood that continues to come in. I'd give it an honest 3.5 Stars, but the technician I had was very meticulous, and gave me a bonus shoulder massage for a few minutes after I got to the dryer. Just a warning, there's no cell signal in the back of the nail salon, where the pedicure chairs are. They also don't offer wifi. Unless you know the wifi PW for the adjacent businesses, plan accordingly. read more

The guy that did my nails I don't know his name , maybe he's the owner, I showed him a picture that I screenshot and saved into my phone, when I showed him and asked if he could do it , without hesitation , he said he can. It's now the first week of 2020 and I'm still getting my nails & toes done here. Now it has become a place where the whole family (excluding my son) are having mani-pedis here! Eric always does my nails (sns powder) but all the people there do a great job. Love their spa pedicures...so relaxing! I make it a point to call and make an appointment (easier, little to no waiting) but walk-ins are welcome. I found them to be very friendly and am satisfied with the service! This was my second visit. Got the lavender spa pedi and gel mani. Both were excellent. The gel mani from my first visit lasted 3 weeks w/only very tiny chips on 2 nails at the end of week 3. Peter took care of me today and was great! Lucy did my daughters pedi and was also wonderful. I hope the quality and service continue to be this good. Im giving 2 stars because I used to go here very often since it's walking distance block from my apartment. They have a lot where you can park for free if under 2 hours which is a nice find in queens too. I also loved this place because the prices were right.. used to be like $20 for a mani and pedi but now they raised their prices. Anyway, I won't mention names but one of the technicians was extremely rude to me when I went in to complain that 24 hours later my gel manicure had mostly turned from solid bright pink to peach/pink tye dye basically. It looked so awkward since each nail was different and was not at all something I'd want to pay for- it would have looked better if I did it myself and that's saying something. Instead of accepting fault, the technician begrugedly and lazily fixed the mistake and wanted me to pay $5 more.. to which I refused/ argued that it should have been done correctly in the first place. I left offering a tip to which the technician declined / calmed down but the initial encounter was so hostile that I was very turned off to this place. My nails have ever since been very weak and flimsy...and I will more than likely not so gel again even at a different place due to what happened here. Coco offers $20 gel manicures, and $25 powder gel manicures - can't find better prices elsewhere. They are accommodating of my schedule when I call to make last second appointments. I had a few people recommend this salon to me and im so glad i listened! I had a young girl first do my toes, a regular manicure, she was very gentle and actually very fast. Thats impressive to me because you usually dont find people who are both at the same time! I had a split nail on one of my toenails and she perfectly fixed it so that it will grow back correctly. Next Eric did my gel manicure, he was very professional and i love the way he cut my nails. they wont break this way. I also had a severaly broken/split middle finger so he fixed it with acrylic so that it grows out. He's micro-detailed and thats hard to come by. I am totally coming back here - best part was i was a walk-in and they welcomed me with no issues! Thats awesome. Total cost for regular pedicure + french gel manicure was $44. read more

I have been coming here to get Powder Gel manicures for the past year and have gotten this maybe 5+ times now, all with different people (Eric, Peter, Selena) and I leave loving how each of them do my nails. She got a wax treatment on her face in advance of a big trip and they left her with BURNS. The kicker? The owner had such a bad attitude and didn't even apologize, let alone compensate her for her physical and emotional trauma. My complaint was that my nail shape was not up to par with my expectations, he messed up the shape that I have been working on for awhile. Nevertheless, he was quick and knowledgable. The bows are a bit pricey at $4 each, for the small ones, so total $8 if you want to do both hands. I came on a Sunday afternoon, and the salon was busy. I come here every 2 weeks or so. Their Spa pedicures are amazing and a great deal. A choice of 3 spa pedicures each with different options ranging from around $30-45 I believe. All of them include a free manicure and different ranges of massages or hot stones etc etc. My manicures here always last longer than when I got to other places, (could be a certain top or base coat they use, not sure). The staff has always been pleasant and friendly. Massages are so great and relaxing. I know they take walk-ins but since it's a smaller place it's always good to call to avoid waiting. The first thing to catch my eye was the dirty paper towel on the table placed as the "mat", which they didn't change between customers. When I sat down, I saw oil/wet marks and nail clippings. All the tools used were not cleaned properly- even after she took it out of the sterilization box, she "cleaned" it with alcohol. The UV light box was gross, there was polish and dust all over it, and sticky residue inside. When removing my old polish, she kept scrubbing my nail with a piece of paper towel. Just an overall bad experience. Honestly, I wouldn't come back because the place didn't feel very sanitary, I would gladly spend a little more to feel comfortable and relaxed. read more

After filling my nails: no cuticles were cut, wasn't asked to wash my hands with all that powder I had on my nails. My fingers had a lot of dry white that looked so bad which I questioned how I should I get ride off and I was told to wash my hands few times and it will go away. Today we leave and Eric who I believe is the owner runs out and comes up to my friend and states that she did not tip enough for her manicure and pedicure. So we just looked at him like what? He then continued to explain that you MUST tip 15% for services. I and I'm sure she has NEVER been chased down for a tip. We have always tipped the nail tech that works with us. It is disrespectful, disgusting, and completely unprofessional to ask for more of a tip. Legit taken back. If the employee complained about his tip raise his base pay so he's not dependent on tips. Filthy. I hadn't been here in 3 yrs, and returned out of desperation. The salon is outdated, the chairs the workers sat in were falling apart, the photos on the wall are the same as the last time I went. Aside from aesthetics, I was disgusted by what I saw and would have walked out, had I not already been mid-gel soak off. Long story short -- there is a lack of disinfecting their tools. The girl sitting next to me, while I soaked, had her cuticles cut. I watched the worker take the cuter out of her table drawer, wipe the down with nail polish remover and a square paper towel. When she was done, she put it back in the drawer - not disinfected. When it was my turn, she did the same thing to me; I prayed she didn't cut me. I should have told her to not do it. When it was my turn, the girl to my right was getting her nails dipped in acrylic powder. The worker brushed off the excess dip and left the brush on his work station. When it was time to "clean" the dust from her filing my nails, she grabbed the same brush her co-worker used and used it on me, putting it back where she found it. No tool that was used on me was clean. Disgusting. Never again. read more

This has became my main spot to do my nails now. What first got me to come here was the pricing of the UV Gel fill in. Other places charge anywhere from $35-45, but it's $25 here. I was doubtful at first and thought that they would do a terrible job. But it was the opposite, the guy that did my nails did a wonderful job. He even cleaned the under of my real nails which other nail salons had never done for me before! He was very detailed and made sure my cuticles were cut clean. The UV Gel fill in itself was perfect. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. I've been a steady client now for almost 2 years and this is still the best nail salon I've been to. I've never left unsatisfied after having my nails done here. Each time I come in I bring a picture or pictures of different designs that I find on line. Eric and Selena have never disappointed me. They both are more than nail technicians they are both artists who effortlessly copy each design to perfection. You get a fantastic neck and upper back massage after your nails are done. The spa pedicures are wonderful. My toes look pretty and my heels are always smooth. My favorite part is the reflexology. Even if the salon is crowed I never feel rushed. Every member of the staff always takes their time to make sure you're happy with how things are going. The staff is talented and friendly. The choice of polish colors are amazing. I like that they have regular polish to match the gel polish. The prices here are amazing. My sister travels 30 miles from the island to come here because of how great the prices are. This place is down the block from our new apartment. I came here on a whim and had a really great pedicure. I decided to make it a once a month treat during the winter. 2 friends came over and we all went to get our toes done, then decided to get manicures. My 1 friend and I are kind of snobs and refuse to let anyone else touch our hands, we do them ourselves; for some reason we gave in, and we weren't upset at all. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because the last time I went got there after 7p, they're open until 8, said the wait would be short, and some lady walked in and just sat in a pedicure chair. I spoke up and questioned why she got to go before me, and they claimed she had an appointment. I have a feeling she didn't and because she's a regular they excused her behavior. But. They are very nice. They do fantastic work. I tried another nail place (after my last experience) upon the recommendation of others. I'm excited to go back this weekend to have my gel manicure re-done and to see how they do. Hopefully I'm happy and can come here for my wedding. read more
