Great staff who really take their time doing a great job whether it be my nails or a spa pedicure, I always leave feeling like a million bucks. My husband and I come together every week.

It's now the first week of 2020 and I'm still getting my nails & toes done here. Now it has become a place where the whole family (excluding my son) are having mani-pedis here! Eric always does my nails (sns powder) but all the people there do a great job. Love their spa pedicures...so relaxing! I make it a point to call and make an appointment (easier, little to no waiting) but walk-ins are welcome. I found them to be very friendly and am satisfied with the service! This was my second visit. Got the lavender spa pedi and gel mani. Both were excellent. The gel mani from my first visit lasted 3 weeks w/only very tiny chips on 2 nails at the end of week 3. Peter took care of me today and was great! Lucy did my daughters pedi and was also wonderful. I hope the quality and service continue to be this good. As of right now I can definitely recommend this place

Tips and uv gel - picture is deceiving, nails were perfect.

I honestly don't know why I do anywhere else, and when I do I always come back Coco nails fixes the mess. Clean, fast, and nails always come out perfect. Always pleased!

Their gel manicure polish discolors - 2nd time this happened to me (once a week later, another 24 hours later)

Im giving 2 stars because I used to go here very often since it's walking distance block from my apartment. They have a lot where you can park for free if under 2 hours which is a nice find in queens too. I also loved this place because the prices were right.. used to be like $20 for a mani and pedi but now they raised their prices. Anyway, I won't mention names but one of the technicians was extremely rude to me when I went in to complain that 24 hours later my gel manicure had mostly turned from solid bright pink to peach/pink tye dye basically. It looked so awkward since each nail was different and was not at all something I'd want to pay for- it would have looked better if I did it myself and that's saying something. Instead of accepting fault, the technician begrugedly and lazily fixed the mistake and wanted me to pay $5 more.. to which I refused/ argued that it should have been done correctly in the first place. I left offering a tip to which the technician declined / calmed down but the initial encounter was so hostile that I was very turned off to this place. My nails have ever since been very weak and flimsy...and I will more than likely not so gel again even at a different place due to what happened here. Definitely won't be back which is sad since it's so convenient.

This place is affordable and the staff is friendly. They do a great job with gel manicures and spa pedicures! I wish I could sit all day here! They actually clean up after each customer. Unlike other places who only use water to wash the pedicure tub. They can also do a bunch of great designs.

My go to spot for my nails!! Eric does such a wonderful job with my acrylic tips and powder gel. I've been going here for a few years now and I've never had my tips or powder gel break or chip. My tips will last literally a whole month without breaking. Pricing is affordable also. He does a great job. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Currently my favorite neighborhood no frills nail salon. I've visited them consistently for the past year and always am happy with the results. Coco offers $20 gel manicures, and $25 powder gel manicures - can't find better prices elsewhere. They are accommodating of my schedule when I call to make last second appointments. Peter is by far my favorite technician. He's so sweet, works very meticulously and you can tell he puts so much care into his work. A kind reminder: please tip well. Low prices does not mean the workers should receive measly tips!

Cece did a really good job on my nail. She is patient and detail oriented. First time visited this place, small but clean. Will go back.

Love this place. Always professional, courteous service. They do nails and they do them well! If you want something special just bring a picture and show them & they'll make it happen. I am very pleased with the service at Coco nails, it took me a few places by trial & error but I have found my new home for all things nails, my husband even comes along for manicures, pedicures and massages!

I been a loyal customer for a while now ! I love this place, the prices are so reasonable especially the amount of time they put into their work for each and everyone of their customers !! Erick is the one I go to for all my amazing manicures and he's never failed to make me happy with his work. 100% recommended !!

Cost: $35 (This did not include tip.) I found this nail salon to be clean and friendly. The technician, a young Asian male (unsure of his name) did a fantastic job designing my nails. My complaint was that my nail shape was not up to par with my expectations, he messed up the shape that I have been working on for awhile. Nevertheless, he was quick and knowledgable. The bows are a bit pricey at $4 each, for the small ones, so total $8 if you want to do both hands. I came on a Sunday afternoon, and the salon was busy. I felt a bit rushed in the service, but overall a decent job considering. I would recommend making an appointment so you don't have to wait, but I don't know if it makes a difference.

All spa pedicure choices include a free manicure!

    How much for sns?

    $33. Sns

I have a question? Has anyone ever been chased down by Eric to give an employee more for tip? My friend was! Completely unprofessional? No?

I don't believe that. I've seen some of these people hand the workers $2 or $3 for a tip and nobody said anything but thank you but my husband & I thought it was horrible. If you go get a beauty service you tip. I always $10 and sometimes $15 for…

As another person mentioned they are NOT HONEST about pricing, they up charged me for services,…read moremuch more than the usual "little extra" fees salons try to cheat you with. THEN had the audacity to say "they were giving me something free" when I asked for a design; I very directly said after that comment "I actually was not made aware of any of what I've been charged thus far, do I need to ask." Implying that I know a design is included -- Like the NERVE to challenge my intelligence as though I'm supposed to be charged for a simple two star design with a rhinestone. The nerve to even say it jokingly as if you're trying to get more money, like huh? She said something to the effect of "Oh you know we're supposed to charge for this but don't worry." like you're not doing me a favor! No gel set just comes with plain polish you always have the option of a free design. Tuh, respectfully. Furthermore I assume I was up-charged because I am a mixed woman of COLOR no less, whom came with my white male friend (whom they were just fine inquiring if he was my boyfriend or not by the way). No, he just enjoyed spoiling us and didn't mind the price so it seems they took advantage of noticing that he did not care. We were happy to spend more but I noticed them being greedy so I did not, and simply noted it. I am ALWAYS up-charged in Asian salons UNLESS I am with my Asian friends. Thank God they have protected me from said racism & biases since childhood years.. Ugh. I remember being a pre-teen and things this happening to me so nothing new! It's their culture, it's just offensive, even though I wasn't personally offended. PLUS I WAS unfortunately the last client so while I was happy to tip, they turned me off from tipping more by making me feel like they felt "let's get more money out of her before we close". They kept offering add on services I specifically said I did not want, while also saying we need to hurry up like huh?; mind you this after I had already agreed to accepting GEL because it was faster to dry & quicker for THEM to service me before closing. I paid extra for that, for their convenience not my own -- so yeah, they just all around abused us as the last clientele of the night while disguising it as more hospitality. LOL, NO THANK YOU! HOWEVER, ALL IN ALL, I will say both my Gel manicure and pedicure lasted EXTREMELY well and I appreciate the quality of the salon and the services provided. That is the only reason I will reconsider them. I did not feel mistreated in ANY way while receiving my services other than the obvious taking advantage of what they charged me. I am leaving this review before considering going tomorrow lol, and I have no shame showing my face again. My skin may be brown but my money is GREEN and I have quite enough to spend for someone not to cheat me out of spending more! They need to consider that any color skin can be affluent, and they're there to provide a RELAXING service. Nobody should leave a salon feeling cheated. SB: THANKS to the other lady who wrote her review about the up charging, because I would not have wrote so deeply about my experience. I just let it go; she encouraged my honesty. I hope my opinions change after another visit. This place is worth trying but yes ASK prices directly, and be stern about it, they know what they're doing.. all business owners do.
