Tried the chocolate mylk, it was super good. It tasted really nice and it was surprisingly very filling. It was a good preworkout drink.

UPDATE: Used to LOVE this place but they raised a lot of their prices making their already extremely expensive food, unaffordable for most Bostonians. Still tastes amazing but I can't see spending $25 for a meal that won't keep me full for 2 hours. Come on Cocobeet, let's be realistic now. read more

When I received my dream job offer from a company based in New York City, one of my first thoughts about moving was "but what will I do without Cocobeet?!" Seriously, this place is amazing. I used to work directly above it, and ate here any time I had to work late or needed a little pick me up. Onur and Kyle are incredible. They are nice and friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about nutrition. This place opened up about a week after I made the switch to being a vegetarian/mostly vegan and it was basically a godsend. Is it expensive? Yes! But everything is organic and local when possible, and more importantly everything is made with love and care (the secret ingredients). I've never been disappointed with anything I've had from here, but a few of my absolute favorites were the blue coconut and kale karma smoothies, green genes juice, key lime tartlet, quinoa sliders, kale and microgreens salad, and the avocado, cucumber, and tomato sandwich. Seriously though, you can't go wrong. Vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters alike will love this place for their delicious food, friendly service, and healthy choices. Now that I'm officially living in New York, I have dreams of Cocobeet (franchise opportunities in NYC??) and am extremely jealous of anyone in the Boston area who can (AND SHOULD) take full advantage of this place whenever possible. read more

Love this place! Not only is everything vegan on the menu, it's one of the few whole-foods, plant-based places we found during our weeklong stay in downtown Boston. Not only kept us eating healthy, but everything is delicious! The turmeric "mylk" was our favorite, as well as the soup and sandwiches. Great flavor combinations and very filling. So is $10 a reasonable price for fresh, quality organic juice? In a word...YES. I'm a recent convert to the juicing lifestyle and couldn't be happier about my decision to get healthy and I have to thank Cocobeet for helping me get there. It helps that I work a block away from their Gov't Center location but I find myself taking trips into the city on weekends just to swing by and stock up for a few days. My journey into the juicing lifestyle started with my cousin recommending that I check a movie called Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead. After watching it I popped into Cocobeet for the first time & picked up a Kickstart. My current favorite juices are their Forbidden Juice & Green Genes and my go to smoothie is the Banana Chia. I've also tried out most of the organic food they have to offer and really like the Vegan Maki, Quinoa Burgers and their Chia Berry Pudding. I've noticed that I have sustained energy throughout the day and don't crash like I used to around 3pm after a big lunch. I've also lost a few pounds and haven't had a migraine since I started on this journey. So is the juicing lifestyle right for you? I honestly have no idea - that's your call but I do know that I love it & Cocobeet is definitely the best place I've found to pick up the best tasting and freshest juice/smoothie/food around. Idk why these type of stores bother, when you're upcharging the hell out of your products that cost significantly less to make, no way I can justify spending almost $15 on an açaí bowl. Good at what it does, but not up my alley. We came here on Sunday, kind of surprised it was open. Well it was open, but they had sold out of a lot of items, and don't offer their full menu on Sunday--just so you're aware. No bowls, rolls, etc. Everything we had was really good (quinoa balls, brownie bites, best kale chips I've ever had), although some of the salad greens were turning yellow, which is a bit disappointing considering how much you're paying. The thing I really couldn't wrap my mind around, and am surprised no one mentioned, is the sheer amount of plastic boxes and other packaging used in their take-away items. Most of us who are vegan care about the environment, and it just doesn't seem right that doing a good thing for animals and your body should have to involve so much plastic waste. Even if it's recyclable. I hope they find a way to change this. This is the type of place I'll probably splurge on occasionally (putting aside my packaging guilt) but can't see myself visiting often. read more

I had heard so many great things about this place so I decided to try a green juice when I was in the area after running errands. I tried the "green genes" option which includes Kale, Spinach, Cucumber, Celery, Apple, Parsley, Lemon and Ginger. Including tax, one bottle cost me $10.65! It was 17 oz which is a good amount, but when I handed the cashier a $10 bill and he said, "sixty five......." I was shocked that a pre-packaged juice could cost that much! After paying $10.65 for this thing I was expecting something amazing..... Too bad I was not impressed by the flavor of the juice. I love a kick of lemon and ginger and could not taste either. My bottle of juice only had a "sell-by" date on a sticker on top, but no date indicating when it was actually pressed. I prefer when my juice is made in front of me (freshly pressed); the ingredients taste much fresher. Jugos in Back Bay is by far my favorite juice place. The prices are more reasonable for freshly pressed green juice and the flavors are fantastic. read more

Wow! These smoothies are amazing. Yes, you are paying $10 for them but it's worth it, they are quite possibly the best smoothies I've ever had. The Vanilla Power Mylk tasted more like a milkshake (but really, it's healthy!) and was filling enough to serve as a meal. The Blue Coconut is a super creative and super yummy blueberry almond smoothie. I haven't had the Tropical Breeze but my husband did and said it was amazing. We also picked up a Vanilla Berry Chia Pudding and some summer rolls, both of which were also great! I'll definitely be back - soon, I hope! read more

Was in town for the Boston Marathon and was walking around, we are from California where we juice everything and live a real clean eating lifestyle. We were happy to find this little gem, we got a carrot beet ginger juice and it was pretty dang tasty but really all the bottles seem to contain deliciousness. Single best acai bowl in the city. Their smoothie bowls are delicious, not watery or icy at all. I've heard the smoothies are good too but have yet to try one (FYI they come pre-bottled). Five stars for this exceptional place! I searched online high and low for a decent breakfast or snack spot. This place fits the bill! It is mostly gluten free, vegan, and organic! I ordered the warm quinoa bowl, green gold juice, the chocolate "juice" which is actually cashew nut milk with dates & raw cacao. They have 10-30 different juice options ready-to-go. The two juices I bought tasted fresh and unique. The prices are average compared to what I pay in San Diego. And the quality is top notch. I highly recommend stopping by here in a rush or if you just need something healthy! They also sell cold/flu busting juices, and a variety of immune system boosts. read more

Astoundingly delicious! I bought the Green Genes and loved it. Although I prefer smoothie/frappe green juices, I really liked the somewhat creamy consistency this juice has. Amazing spot! Equally amazing or even more so! Then my favorite spot in NYC (Organic Avenue). So why do I love it? 1. ORGANIC!!! Organic is very important especially when it comes to juices. While I was at a store the owner was refilling the shelves and we got to chat, it was a breeze of fresh air to hear someone passionate about purchasing only organic produce and caring for quality. Disclosure: there were few items that were not organic, but they made it very clear! So if you are seeking organic - rest assure at this store they won't mislead you on what is and what is not organic. Very important! With a number of shops that simply mislead on that. 2. Taste: delicious. Great combo of ingredients! To hit your taste buds :-). 3. Food: I love that they offer salads, sandwiches, deserts and stuff like that. It's great cause it make it one stop shop for lunch! 4. Customer service: friendly, and more importantly knowledgeable about what they sell, and what goes in into what they sell. Just finished a wonderful lunch from Cocobeet! I've been itching to try out this place since it opened in my neck of the woods. And boy was I surprised! The quinoa burger on arugula was delicious. I especially loved the mustard dressing that comes with it (in fact, I'm saving the rest and putting it on my greens for lunch tomorrow.) Now here's the surprising part - although the salad looked on the small side, I'm actually quite full! This is coming from a girl who can out-eat the majority of her guy friends. I also purchased a Shake the Tree smoothie, which, two sips in, is also delicious, but I think I'm going to have to save the rest for an afternoon snack. I'm so glad to have another healthy lunch option downtown. I can't wait to go back and try more! read more

Besides the sheer expense of this place, the juices are great! The plus side is that you really do get what you pay for. If you read the juice labels, 5 pounds of produce go into each juice - that's a lot! Friendly and knowledgeable staff who were able to answer any questions. Great location on the way from downtown to Quincy Market. Visited twice in 48 hours and had the Green Genes, the Survival Kit, and Bright Lights. All were delicious and refreshing. This is the go to place if you want organic cold pressed juice in Boston! The owner is amazing so friendly and nice, available to answer any questions. Plus after your first trip there, he remembers who you are and greets you by name! Now onto the juices.... Amazing! If you're into juicing or you just want something filling and healthy head to cocobeet! My favorites are the Peruvian sun (sweet potato, carrot, apple, lemon and lime), kale karma (probably the best one even if you aren't into the "green drinks", it's sweet and tangy!- kale, pear, pineapple and lemon, yum!), and if you're looking for that 2 pm boost try the kickstart (beet, carrot, apple and ginger). Also they have great organic and freshly made food. The kale chips are my favorite and super delicious, but they have salads, desserts (yes!), and sandwiches. They also offer various cleanse packages, which are always worth a try if you've got a sugar addiction you're looking to kick (as I frequently am). Cocobeet is such a great addition to Boston! I can't say enough good things about Cocobeet. I would drink their juices everyday if I could. Sure, they're a little expensive, but they're totally worth it--both in terms of flavor and nutritional benefit. All other juice bars in the area pale in comparison. If you appreciate the difference between cold-pressed unpasteurized juices and the conventional stuff, you'll love Cocobeet. The only downside? Its really hard to choose which juices to get. I've been searching for a juice to compete with my favorite juice back in NYC and I think I've finally found it at Cocobeet! The Forbidden Juice is my absolute FAVORITE! It could be my favorite purely because I never want to try any other juice because I love it so much. I have only sampled the other juices and as far as I can tell, they're delicious as well. After reading through some of the comments on here, some people comment that they don't like how these are bottled juices as opposed to freshly made on the spot. I actually prefer them being bottled so it ensures they are cold, no wait time, and easy re-sealable bottle to grab and go! Also, being made that morning is fresh enough for me. I'm really looking forward to trying the Spice-C, Happy Day, Banana Chia and Shake the Tree. That is, if I ever get the courage to pass up on a Forbidden Juice! Hands down the best juices in Boston. I usually stop here on my way home from my workout (one of the only juice places open past 7) and grab a smoothie. The Banana Chia is by far my favorite, also love the Blue Coconut. Haven't ventured into trying many others because I love these two so much- I am sure they are all great. Food is also delicious. Could be the healthiest thing you put in your vile unhealthy body. Raw, unpasteurized, organic, and cold pressed. It is very expensive at $9.50 for a 17oz bottle. But, then I was thinking if I bought all the different organic fruits and vegetables it took to make 17 oz of juice it would cost more than $9.50. I tried the kick start. At first it tastes like swamp water, but then mellows out. It had a lingering ginger bite to it. Great drinks after a night of partying and abusing your body. read more

Ut is expensive but you can tell that the ingredients have good quality and probably because the store is right downtown. I used to love this place and made it one of my go tos for quick pick ups on the way to work. Unfortunately, service here has really gotten bad. I tried ordering with them two days in a row- and ended with a negative experience. Had called ahead twice and ordered something and they had given my order away to someone else. There was little apology and very little effort to make amends after two days in a row of poor service. It was the same guy. They all just sort of looked at each other and said they would make another one, but with their excruciatingly slow times, there was no way I'd be on time after that to work. I started with a 3 day cleanse a year ago when they first opened, and i gotta say it rocked my world. Started off skeptical, but this place is the only organic coldpress shop in the city that refues to use high preassure pasturization to prolong shelf life like most off the shelf cleanses. Hpp greatly reduces the freshness and nutrient content of the product. after changing some habits i def noticed the difference in my general health and well being. So i recently tried a 2 week transition plan and its been great! My personal favorites are kick start, green genes which has to be the best green drink in town, and banana chia.
