Waited in line with no menus or prices visible. When I asked what flavors of bubble tea they had the cashier said "there's a menu at the end of the bar." I quickly picked two and told her the flavors I wanted, she said "you order at the register" but now she had just sent me behind 7 more people!!! Then the drinks were NOT bubble tea--they were thick smoothies with very hard, either old or not properly prepared tapioca at the bottom. Paid over $8, my daughter and I took a mouthful of each and threw them in the trash. A waste of time and money for poor service and no treats. I miss the old bubble tea place, they were polite and actually knew what bubble tea was. Should have gotten a refund but didn't feel like waiting behind another 7 people again. My goodness. Called and they were open till 10 PM this Tuesday night. Great selection of yogurts and sorbets. Lots of toppings. Clean comfortable seating areas. I live 10 minutes away and just discovered this place. They gave both my son and I sample cups and were so friendly. I saw prior comments about bad service, but it must be under new ownership. I would definitely give this place a try. I want to come here again and try the bubble tea! read more

The product is good - but the staff is usually useless and not helpful at all. Thank God it's a self serve. I took my little cousins in and the conversation behind the counter was inappropriate so we left. Just double check your total on the way out - the dumb kids they hire sure won't. read more

Went here on a whim on Valentine's day. It was relatively slow, which worked out well for the little seating they had. One unfortunate girl was stuck working, but she was very nice. We might not have been allowed, but we had a sample of every type of yogurt, which was nice. They had a decent selection of flavors and toppings, and it cost us $6 for both of our yogurts. It's so nice to have a cheap date option in Downers! I can't wait to go here again. I am curious to see how busy it gets on a normal day. read more

The yogurt was delish and wide selection of toppings with my only constructive criticism being real hot fudge and caramel (rather than room temp stuff from squeeze bottles) would be preferred. Best FroYo I've had in a long time. Bare bones facility, lots of toppings and mostly friendly service. Sometimes I think they get inundated with kids and it kind of freaks out the help, but I'm sure they're doing the best they can. Very clean location. Will definitely be back. I am not a big fan of frozen yogurt (seems like imitation ice cream to me) but this place is not what I expected. You create your own serving so for me it was mostly toppings with a little fro yo to hold it together. Happen to stop in here when the Downers Fest was going on - Was great.... filled our little bowls and then applied the sprinkle toppings. Weighed each cup - and paid - One of the froyo dispensers was low/out, and mentioned it to staff - they shrugged. Kids were playing with the equipment, and also the toppings - again, shrugs. Just walked over to try this new place out and it was awesome. The atmosphere is very cute, bright, and modern. They probably have about 10-15 seats total. The person working was nice and had no problem answering any questions we had. It is kind of unique in the way it works. You fill up your cup with what you want and then they weigh the cup at the end. It is $.47 an ounce. They have several flavors of frozen yogurt that you can choose from. For example: Red Velvet, French Vanilla, Cake Batter, New York Cheesecake, and Chocolate. You grab a cup and fill it up to your preference. You can mix and match and even sample a flavor beforehand. I am a big fan of this because I can never finish all of my frozen yogurt normally (I know, blasphemy). This way I was able to choose how much of a yogurt to toppings ratio I wanted. Next, you move on to the toppings, which are self-serve as well. You can choose as many (or as little) as you like. They have healthy toppings like strawberries, bananas, pineapples, cherries, etc. They also have some not so healthy, but seriously yummy toppings like chocolate chips, oreo crumbles, butterfinger pieces, fruit loops, sprinkles, and my two favorites cheesecake bites and cookie batter pieces (sooo good!). Let's just say there were a lot of toppings. I personally had the New York Cheesecake frozen yogurt with strawberries, bananas, pineapple, cheesecake bites, and cookie batter pieces. The yogurt was smooth and light. The fruit toppings tasted fresh and, as I mentioned earlier, the cookie batter and cheesecake bites were great. Will definitely be returning! read more

yogurt is good, no complaints there...Service was..eh...what service? I had walked in there one afternoon to simply pick up a job application because I saw that they were hiring. After walking in I went to the counter hoping to be greeted, Not a person in sight. I figured they just ran to the back to get something, but after waiting for TEN minutes with no one acknowledging that I had even walked in the store I decided to leave. I hit the door a little hard on the way out and this is what finally got the attention of someone. After asking for a job application she had no idea where they were, picked up the phone, which probably rang twice, hung up and told me to come back tomorrow. She was not very helpful and I could not understand much of what she was saying.. I never went back for the job application, however, I hope they find someone with some customer services skills. read more

Came in at 8:10 pm, Yelp and door says it closes at 9. They were locked and getting ready to leave. However, when the employee saw me he let me in and kindly let me get some froyo. Fruits were already put away, but he offered to get me some from the back if I had any in mind. I felt too awkward to ask as they were closed. A little disappointed the timing was off so I didn't get to get what I normally would have, but they were kind enough to accommodate me anyways. I bought a Milk Tea bubble tea with tapioca pearls and a Lychee bubble tea with tapioca pearls. They were delicious! The place was clean and I plan to come back for the frozen yoghurt and other bubble teas. They also had board games. It is a nice place to hang out with friends or family. :) read more

Not being able to taste the yogurt was disappointing. I put a little bit in a cup I was happy to pay for but the boy behind the register wouldn't give me a spoon. Glad I tasted first cause the peanut butter fudge was yellow and tasted neither like peanut butter nor like fudge but was rather sour tasting. I get that you can't taste everything before you order or pay for it, but most ice cream and yogurt places do let you taste cause that particular food is so variable. Weird and kinda aggravating that there was no accommodating my request. I get the people that work there are in an awkward position because that is the policy and they have no control over it ,so shame on the owner for having no way to make it easier to deal with "difficult" customers like me who make requests that seem reasonable. At least let the people who work there give samples so they can control the amounts. So that we don't wind up paying for yogurt that tastes nothing like the flavor you call it! read more

I love going to yogurt bars and live in downers grove. The yogurt and customer service is mediocre. They only have 8 out of 10 flavors available and rarely change flavors. The store is busy because it's the only frozen yogurt in town...However, I feel like the owner takes his customers' business for granted. I will continue to take my children and grandchildren there because I live 10 blocks away...Otherwise I would always go to Forever yours or Yogli Mogli! read more

The cookies & cream frozen yogurt is delightful! What a pleasant surprise.

We took our 3 grandkids here on my 9 year old grandson's suggestion. Be careful if it's your first time here....the kids went a little overboard on filling their cups before we saw what they were doing so it was a bit expensive but well worth the money. My granddaughter didn't like the flavor she chose so Grandpa took it. After the fact, they told us they had sample cups for tasting, good to know for the next visit. The kids were very excited to add their own toppings and as much as they wanted and we all finished every last bite. I never feel like they give me enough syrup at DQ etc but here you can put on as much as you want, in any combination that you want. I don't think there was any topping that you could think of that they didn't have. Another Cocomero recently opened in Oswego where our granddaughters live so we went there this past week.....exactly the same, clean, roomy, bright seating area. I may give up my DQ blizzards in favor of these yogurt sundaes :) read more
