We couldn't stop eating - everything was so damn good and fresh tasting! We ordered the following: papaya salad, Lao sausage, beef jerky, grilled pork, grilled beef, sticky rice, pork egg rolls, nam khao, stuffed tapioca balls, kabocha dessert, coconut cassava dessert, coco ube dessert, coco pandan dessert, and Mochi waffles with condensed milk. We ordered almost the entire menu - worth every penny. The dishes were so flavorful and savory; the desserts were not overly sweet and satisfying. Everything was a 10/10 for us!!! Amazing service all around from employees and manager, but that aside, the kao poon, lao sausage, chicken laab, and papaya salad (was spicy, but hits right) was spectacular! Wow! This place went above and beyond my expectations. When you walk in, you'll see a display of all the desserts, menus to the right, and bottle drinks to the left. You order the food, pick a place to sit, and your number is called. We came at 5 and no one was there. We were happy because we could take our time looking at everything. It was hard to choose because everything looked delicious. What is not pictured was the drinks. We had the coco drink, passion-nada, and coco strawberry. All the drinks were tasty. Not too sweet, which is how I like it. The passion-nada was like a mangonada but with passion fruit juice. Tasty! Every little detail of this place was thought out. From the little flower mochi to the Togo bags. The owners really put 100% effort into making this place nice. The food.... Oh mannn... sooo flavorful. The mochi waffle was a nice surprise. It reminded me of something my grandma used to make . The crunchy outside layer with the mochi gooey inside. It had corn and coconut in it that also provided some texture. Not like the regular pandan waffle. The nam khao... crunchy goodness, cooked to perfection. The pork tapioca. I never had this before. It was so good! Perfect ratio of pork and tapioca. The dipping sauce was . Lao sausage, lemongrass deliciousness. The dipping sauce again was . We had the papaya salad with 2 peppers. Tasted fresh and again with the flavors on point. The grilled beef had so much flavor. It was a sweet glazed with a charred taste. It paired very well with the fresh herbs and lettuce. We wrapped it up like a taco and ate it together. Food was spectacular! First time coming here & we really enjoyed it. The lao sausage feels very fresh & homemade. I loved biting into every single slice & would order it again. I also had a bite of the grilled chicken and it was great. You can taste that it came off a grill and it was a little sweet. The only thing I didn't like was there is NO pepper at all lol. I'm not sure if we have to ask for it but Lao people love spicy and I am Hmong so I do too. We also got sticky rice which isn't shown in picture but it's a very small portion, wish it was bigger as Asians love rice. The service was great. They brought the food out to you in a tray with togo like containers. We ended up taking the containers home since it is reusable. You do leave your trash there for them to clean it up which I didn't know. The decor is decent. Pretty simple but still cute. Would come again. read more

So this place was just an accidental find. We saw it after we bought our dinner next to them so we decided to give it a try. It was almost closing time so most of the stuff they sell are gone, the mango sticky rice was a bummer because that's what my husband wanted but it's out of season, understandable. I liked my pandan drink, my husband was not a fan of his passionada drink. He said it was on the sour side and seem like the passion fruit and coconut juice is not blending well. The mochi layer was ok as it was not too sweet, the coco pandan dessert was ok, I would've liked it better if it was fresh coconut. The owner Keo is nice, he seems to be open to suggestions. I've been here twice, and I've tried the grilled pork, Nam Khao, Lao sausage and a jasmine tea but not sure which I just asked for a recommendation but it was really refreshing and fruity. I would recommend any of the dishes mentioned above, everything has a good mix of sweet and savory with lots of herbs. So if you're into that kind of thing give it a try. read more

Such a cute establishment with aesthetically pleasing goodies! The packaging is premium and the carry out bags are great. It's so nice to see Lao/Thai spots trending. The service was so kind and warm. The guy at the front eagerly greeted all guests as we walked in although I did notice many people unfortunately did not extend him the same courtesy. They have a huge variety of desserts as well as main entrees. I tried their version of khaopoon and while it was different from how I'm used to enjoying it, it wasn't terrible. The flavors are very concentrated in saltiness and sweetness. The pungent smell of fish sauce is the first thing I noticed however there was no fishy taste and the creaminess of the coconut milk was super strong. I did also order the kabocha custard as well as the pandan purple rice custard. I felt that the texture of the custards would've been more appropriate for a savory dish like the Lao baked/steamed eggs. If it had more of a velvety texture like flan, it would've sealed the deal. With that being said, those desserts were not for me. The texture of the purple rice was also still too hard while simultaneously mushy. I'd love to come back and try their other offerings. Updates, well i've tried it! I can give my honest review for this restaurant. 1. Papaya very salty, mushy, papaya not crunchy, not edible, too much Tamerin sauce. 2. Steamed mochi tasted it like skittles flavoring, not authentic. 3. Tapioca Pandan balls, too much stuffings, store bought sweetened coconut flakes were used it makes it overly sweet, must use fresh shredded coconut for all thai deserts. 4. Khaopoon is very salty, doesn't have authentic Khaopoon taste, drumsticks instead of shredded chicken it's a no no. ground pork or chicken was not necessary, barely any cabbage, no diced strings beens nor mints and Vietnamese Coriander, no kiffar leafs smells either. 5. Sticky rice cake with custard was good, but not the best, rice was little bit crunchy. 6. Packaging is lovely but deserts are not authentic so it's not worth paying $7.50 for tiny portions. 7. Need a different papaya recipe and new papaya chef, same with Khaopoon. read more

Decided to try this spot for lunch and I wasn't too happy with their food. I ordered the nam kao, beef laab, and green papaya with a side order of sticky rice. The beef laab was lacking in flavor. Im not too sure if they wanted ween off from the lime or sauce but it was cooked beef slices with a bit of laab seasoning. Disappointed me so i took it home and made it better. The papaya, on first bite, had a weird metallic aftertaste. After the first bite, it was spicy but it was lacking in flavor. The last item we had was their nam kao. Really surprised how tasty it was. It had the perfect crunchiness and the pepper was spicy. The meat was spread out but the dish couldve had more. All in all, try it out and help support local eateries! FOOD: 2 Sticky Rice, Nam Khao, Grilled chicken, Pork Tapioca, Lao Sausage, Pork Egg Rolls, Papaya Salad & Khao Piek. The grilled chicken had good flavor. The Khao Piek was okay, I should've ordered the Khaopoon instead. The pork tapioca was the favorite out off all the dishes, you rarely get this anywhere so me and my mother were shocked that they serve this here! It had a good amount of filling inside and we enjoyed it. The nam khao, Lao sausage & Egg rolls wasn't bad. I'm a huge fan of papaya salad, so when I tried the dish, I wished they would have "thum" it more. The drinks I ordered were the coco gems & pandan smoothie. The coco gems drink was delicious. If you order the pandan smoothie, make sure the lid is tight and it might leak due to it melting so fast. It leaked all over my car seat. Overall food was decent but next time I would probably come just for the drinks & the pork tapioca. read more

For us this was a hidden gem. Thoughtful presentation of delicious food. The service was friendly and helped us with what to try for our first time eating Lao food. The sausage is made in house and is a must try. They also have a waffle that has sticky rice corn and coconut inside, they served it warm and it was enjoyable. The way our deserts were packaged to go was neat with a clean presentation. Its a bit of a drive for us but certainly a place we want to go to again.
