It was our first time trying Hidden Dumpling House on Freeport Blvd. (It was formally Yummy Guy). -We had ordered -Garlic Noodle with Beef -Deep Fried Scallion Pancakes -1 Xiao Long Bao -1 Deep Fried Chicken Wing -salt and Pepper Chicken Wings 椒盐 -Orange Chicken w/white Rice -Crystal Shrimp Dumpling All of our lunch dishes were really tasty, fresh, and hot. We will tell all of our friends to try out your restaurant.

If you've been to either of the other two Hidden Dumpling locations, take everything you love about them... tasty food, large portions, and great service, then add a larger seating area. This is it, Hidden Dumpling on Freeport Blvd. Great location across the street from the famous Marie's Donuts with lots of seating. For their soft opening (05/18/2026) | kept it simple with their XLB Dumplings. Same great taste and texture I've loved from their midtown and Elk Grove locations. I also got the chicken wings, salt and pepper style. Nice balance of salt and pepper on crunchy wings. Complimentary coconut mango dessert was thrown in... it was delicious!!! With a limited soft opening menu, it's a hit! Congrats to owner Dani and her great staff.!!

I've repeatedly seen videos/reels of Hidden Dumpling House - Landpark on IG and I take it that it's my sign to try this place. I visited this third new location during their soft opening. They have a location in Midtown and Elk Grove. This is good spot on Freeport Blvd., across the street from Freeport Bakery and Marie's donut. I like it that they have their own parking lot too! The decor is clean, neutral color and simple. It's a decent size and we didn't have to wait to be seated on Saturday afternoon. I knew I wanted to order the Xiao Long Bao. They only have one option, which I think it's pork. Other places usually offer crab or vegetarian options. It's their soft opening so maybe they will add more options later. The meat is savory and flavorful but lacking soup. It wasn't enough soup for XLB. I expect soup splashing out of the dumpling at first bite. My friend never had Sheng Jian Bao. It's a pan fried bun with pork inside. It was good and cutely plated. I do admire their dinnerware and it's something I would purchase for my home. I really enjoyed the soup in the Spare Rib Noodle Soup. The broth soup is very good and the spare ribs melt in my mouth. I wish they had used another type of noodles, instead of the thick lo mein style noodles. Maybe thinner noodles or Flat rice noodles will go better? I also got the mango green tea. I did ask for less sweet and there was no sweetness at all. I didn't like it and would skip the drinks/boba if I come back next time.

Gluten-free Chinese food is rare and deserves more attention! Hidden Dumpling House is such a hidden gem when it comes to gluten-free East Asian cuisine. I was so excited to see a new location open. It's much more spacious and has easy to find parking. I ordered the hot & sour soup, beef chow fun, and chicken & cilantro dumpling (all gluten-free and delicious!). The portions were really generous and served family style. Service was quick, and the restaurant even offered the dumplings on the house after realizing that they forgot to bring it to my table. Also deserves a random shout-out: the bathroom is really cool. The sink is see-through! I may have spent a good minute mesmerized by the water flowing through the sink. I look forward to coming back and trying more of their gluten-free options!

Came here for the soft opening I had seen posted on their social media page the night prior. Very small crowd but plenty of staff working. Owners were present and very friendly and attentive. They even offered my dad and I a smoothie they were testing out made with coconut milk and mango. Bomb! The interior of the building is done beautifully. One of the owners told us she made every decision with love. It shows. Very modern and chic. The colors of the tile pop. The dim sum itself was delicious. Only had a couple so I have excuse to return but the shrimp siu mai will be one of the orders we have on every visit. Also tried the braised pork mushrooms buns and enjoyed those. Ordered a sweet and sour chicken combo with fried rice. I loved the sauce. Along with plenty of big piece of chicken and fresh bell peppers, onions and pineapple I would highly recommend this dish. This newest location of the Hidden Dumpling House is going to be a huge hit with diners. Between the great food and welcoming seating I expect crowds to form at this location just like their counterparts. I expect their private parking lot to help with that.

We were in the area to visit the zoo and had a hankering for dumplings. Found this pretty much brand new spot nearby and wanted to give it a try. Love love love the huge parking lot only shared with the business next door! Win!! The place is bright and cheery inside with lovely decor and fresh flowers on every table. It's been opened only 2ish weeks and was still squeaky clean. We were promptly greeted by the friendly wait person. The menu is varied.... We were going to need a moment to decide. So much sounded delish and I was starving We decided to share the pork shrimp chive and the crystal shrimp dumplings .... Mmm so yummy. Freshly made on premises (you can watch them making them) The place was pretty busy considering it was mid day and mid week. We spied the full table of food at a neighboring table and I had to ask about their selections. It al looked so amazing. Definitely want to return

I came here during the soft opening to check it out. I grew up in this area and used to come here when it was Yummy Guide. There's plenty of parking and the restaurant itself is pretty big and spacious. The space has been redone and looks great with the new look. Great place for groups! We ordered several dishes to get a good sampling of the menu. The dumplings are made fresh daily. We got to meet the owner and get to know her a little better. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes. Pros: plenty of parking and easy to get to. Food came out great and was full of flavor. My favorite were the braised pork and mushroom buns, it had a little kick to them. They came to check on us pretty frequently. Cons: none

    Barbecue pork chowfun

Dropped by at 4:15 PM on a Monday for a solo early dinner of chow fun. Upon arrival, I was super happy to find a large parking lot and the brand new outdoor seating with umbrellas looked quite inviting. I chose to eat inside today, only because it was a little muggy. There were only two other parties eating at 5:15pm, but by the time I left there were about 8 tables full and a few people came to pick up takeout. The restaurant is huge spacious and clean. There was just one young man taking the orders and he was spending a large amount of time explaining the menu to those who did not know about dumplings, so it took a while to get my place but food was done quickly. The It was chow fun was good, I ordered it with barbecue pork which was really tasty. The noodles were cooked perfectly; while it was a little lacking in flavor, that probably means that they're not using MSG and that makes me happy. The table next to me had ordered orange chicken and sesame chicken, both of which looked absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come back and try the wor wonton soup and some of the dumplings. If you pay by card, you will have the option of sending yourself the receipt via text and also that option will result in you getting points for frequent purchaser. With 50 bonus points for your first visit and dollar I saw something about I'm eligible for $2.50 off my next purchase.

We were the first customers of the day on Tuesday at 11am, so we got to choose anywhere we wanted to sit. Their soft opening sign was still up. They did a nice job of decorating the space, nice and bright. We took some time to decide, dumplings, lunch plate, or noodles or a mix of all. We decided on 3 dumpling dishes. The Crystal Shrimp Dumplings, XLB, Jade Twisted Hand Roll. The Crystal Shrimp came with 6 large pieces, at least a 2-bite situation and boy was this tasty and on point. A nicely steamed dumpling with light fry on the bottom. XLB was disappointing - almost seemed old because only a few had broth to slurp. The Jade Twist was savory with a hint of sweetness but light, similar dough to bao. Had to ask for spicy oil - very good flavor & nice spice level. Overall clean and friendly. Will come again and try other options.

I was so excited for this place. They have a great interior and set up. We went during lunch time and we were able to be seated right away. I was surprised at how quickly the food came out after we ordered it. Most items came one at a time, but it was still very timely and we were able to enjoy all dishes at the same time. The menu has a lot of items to choose from, we had difficulty decided on a few so we ended up getting a lot to try. My favorites were the scallion pancake, fried rice and dumplings. I would love to come back and enjoy more food items.

Randomly stumbled upon this spot during a sunset skateboard ride with my boyfriend around our neighborhood around 8:30 and the staff was absolutely welcoming from start to finish. The kitchen technically closes at 8:30PM, but they still made it a point to get us seated and served with the kindest hospitality. Everyone was so helpful with recommending their favorite items and every single thing we tried was honestly amazing. We didn't even realize they had only been open for 2 days when we first stopped by. Once we found out they had just soft opened, we knew we had to come back to try more of the menu & even brought a friend with us the second time so we could order more things to share. We were all genuinely blown away. Texture, Flavor, freshness - ELITE. I've been the other locations but this one is hittin different fr. Top 4 favorites so far: * Mongolian Beef * Crystal Shrimp Dumplings * Honey Walnut Shrimp * Chow Fun :) On top of that... I literally love the plants in here. The team, ambiance, food, location -- all 10/10.

Love the ambiance, amole seating, seats are comfortable, food ws good most especially the sweet and spur chicken, wonton soup is to share we ordered one each and we had to take it home..will come back

We absolutely loved everything about this place! Dinner portions are huge! The flavors were delicious and staff were super friendly! The wait time was not bad at all. The honey walnut shrimp is soooo crispy! Their special fried dumplings were amazing too. All the food was great.

I arrived right when they opened @ 11a & there was no one there. I started taking pictures like I always do as soon as I arrive to a new place I'm trying. Staff asked what the pictures were for. I told her it was for my Yelp review. I immediately already had a bad vibe, because no one has ever asked me why I was taking pictures. She later apologized & explained a situation to me. I'm so glad she did as it explained so much more cause this review could've been so different. I ordered the seafood pineapple fried rice and the green chicken curry. In the seafood pineapple fried rice the seafood included shrimp, scallop squid, and I love the little pineapple chunks. I wish there was more cause I actually love pineapple. The green chicken curry was so good plenty of eggplants, which I love. Loved the scallops! There's a spicy kick in the green curry chicken but it was like a perfect spiciness. everything was very tasty. Both dishes were really good. I had some leftovers and she boxed everything up. I could've done it but it's really nice she took the time to box it up. Staff were friendly. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. I really wanted to try the mango sticky rice, but I was too full and I got super cold as I think the vent/ac was turned on and it was blasting really cold air. I'll have to come back and try that next time but staff mentioned they have another restaurant off Rush River, which I will try soon. It's called Sai Varee. When I left, I totally forgot my Crossbody bag and luckily staff ran out just in time. Just wanna say thank you to the lady cause I had a lot of stuff in my Crossbody so I appreciate her. my day could've been really bad if I lost it. I'll be back to visit again, and I can't wait to try the other location soon. Definitely come stop by and check this place out
