This is a really cute place to stop by for some fresh fruit and smoothies. It's a very laid-back spot, with counter service and limited seating. They had a bunch of fruit lining the tables outside, so it's also easy to just come for a fresh, quick snack. I will note that not everything on the menu was available when we visited, which was later in the day. One of my friends wanted the coconut water, but the employee at the counter said the coconuts were too old. Ultimately, my friend was happy with her smoothie and was glad she wasn't served a bad product. The restaurant also had Thai food on the menu, but it seemed like most people were there for the fruit and drinks. I would be curious to see how their Thai food tastes... hopefully it's as good as their smoothies! read more

I love the smoothies from here!! If you are in the area it's a must-stop in my opinion. The storefront looks like a local fruit stand with boxes of varied fruit. You can order some treats at the window. Prices may be steep for a smoothie but they are delicious. I highly recommend the Guava-Pineapple-Passion Fruit smoothie! It's $9 and they whip it up immediately. I even saw them cutting up real fresh fruit in the window right before. They say they use fruit, ice, and Kauai honey. It's perfectly sweet and refreshing. We came here after having tacos across the street. I struggle to write this review, because my experience here was not a pleasant one. They receive a steady stream of customers based on the color of their building and advertisements on it, but frankly next time I come here I would take my business across the street at 4Tea, where they have bigger fresh fruit smoothies for a good price and more satisfactory customer service. When we got here close to lunch, there was a line of people. We ordered a papaya, pineapple, guava smoothie and did not get that, and were lied to about what we got. This is because when our supposed order was ready, she called out "mango guava papaya smoothie." And then called it out again. We were the only ones waiting there at that time, and so she basically handed it to us. I said that that was not the ingredients we ordered, and she asked us what we ordered. I said we ordered papaya, pineapple, guava. And she had the audacity to say "oh well that's what I made, here it is." I asked her twice if she was sure that was the case, since she yelled out the wrong smoothie a few times to us. She said that was the case. So I took the smoothie, only for it to only taste like mango. I went up to the window afterwards to let her know that I did not appreciate that I double-checked with her twice about the smoothie fruit flavors and that she lied to me. The manager kept asking me if I wanted a new one, to which I said no, because I had already had the other one, but that I was merely letting them know what happened so that they don't do it again. It took awhile to get an apology, and then the manager said "we're training people" as if that excuses someone lying about what was in an order. Do you really need to train people not to lie about what order they made? I'm not sure about that, and it just seemed like she was just trying to make excuses instead of try to understand what happened. I was also not happy with the size of the smoothies, which was like a really small 10 oz solo cup for like $9. Additionally, we followed the sign that said 'most popular/favorite/best-selling item - apple banana lumpias.' So we ordered that, only for it to be soggy and inedible. I think this experience pretty much guarantees that I won't be back here, and instead will be frequenting 4Tea across the street the next time I'm on this part of Kauai. read more

A fun stop on the way to the canyons. They close at 4 and kitchen closes earlier so definitely stop in if you're going to be late at the canyons. The taco place and other food options closed by 4 pm too. We got snow cones and they were fun for my little one. The fruits all looked super fresh. Stopped here just for coconuts! You get to choose your own coconut which can be both fun and stressful. No guidance on how to choose a coconut. Price seemed to be the same 10$ regardless of the coconut size. They don't scrap the coconut meat for you and you have to do it yourself. The plastic spoons and forks they gave weren't strong enough to scrap older coconut meat and we really struggled to do it. The pre-cut pineapple was a bit sour, not fully ripened. Cutest little spot! There were bakery items, chopped fruit, fresh smoothies, and thai food. Service was a bit slow. PINEAPPLE FRIED RICE: Decent portion size, but definitely a bit pricey. Tofu pineapple fried rice will cost you $17 + tax. The fried rice is definitely tasty though! The vegetables were a bit tough, and not soft. The tofu was soft, lightly fried, and didn't have too much flavor, but the texture was nice. The pineapple was delicious, sweet, and paired well with the fried rice. We came here in the morning at 10 AM and again after the canyon around 4:30 on Christmas Day, and the service quality didn't change at all (even though I'm sure working on Christmas as the only open establishment in the area is rough). The mangos from this fruit stand are the best I've ever had! I walked by while waiting for my food from the shrimp station next door, saw they had mango sticky rice, and had to come back for dessert!
