The pad Thai was pretty flavorful, and the service was good & quick! Wish there was more options on the menu

We almost passed by this place on our walk. It's hidden inside Coconut Marketplace. On the outside, it looks a little run down, but don't be fooled. I was also a little skeptical because they serve both Thai and Chinese food. I can't speak for the Chinese food because we didn't order it, but the Thai food was good. We ordered the Thai coconut curry (yellow) with chicken and a side of rice. Total of $21.93. Could easily split this meal between two people. We even had some leftovers after. Overall the flavor was good and I liked the assortment of veggies. A little too salty for my taste. Fast service! The food was prepared quickly from when we ordered it.

The food was amazing. I got the drunken noodles shrimp. It was so good. The person taking the order was super friendly. It's only outside seating, which is fine because it's Hawaii I mean come on.

Got the drunken noodles with tofu. The dish tasted more Chinese than Thai and was overwhelmingly salty. The noodles were slightly undercooked but the tofu was delicious. The dish also had interesting elements like celery which is not something you'd see in Drunken Noodles. The food came out super quickly which was a big plus. In the future I would maybe try a Chinese dish from them but would pass on ordering Thai as there are lots of other Thai places around.

We were looking for dinner close to our hotel, and found Coconut Thai & Chinese Cuisine in the Coconut Grove marketplace. It's open late and that was great, we got good dinner after a day of sight seeing. We got Spicy pepper shrimp, and Cashew chicken. We loved both the shrimp and the chicken. It's a tiny place with great food and service.

Food: SO yummy. As a Thai-American, I can safely say their eggplant garlic ginger (added in chicken for protein) HIT the spot, 11/10. Rice was perfectly cooked as well, it complimented the eggplant and chicken really well. The sauce was perfection, food tasted really fresh and nice and filling too! I finished the entire thing easily lol. Service: Food was really fast. Ambiance: Lots of outdoor seating. Would recommend to anyone visiting, tasted really authentic!

The best spicy, pepper shrimp I've ever had. The rice was fresh and hot every time I went. Definitely my favorite spot in Kauai

Not sure what's been going on with me but I've recently been craving all the things I used to eat…read morewhen I was younger. Things like plate lunches from Zippy's and the other day, Panda Express. On the way from Lihue Airport to the north shore, we stopped to get some groceries and in the same strip mall was a Panda Express. I knew Joe had never eaten at one so why not get my orange chicken fix? I got two 2 item plates, one with chow fun, orange chicken and Beijing beef, and one with fried rice, orange chicken and honey sesame chicken. We divided up the plates so we could both have a bit of everything. I've always liked the orange chicken so that was good. The honey chicken and beijing beef were ok with the beef slightly on the dry side but flavorful. Both starches were exactly as I'd remembered, tasty and satisfying. Joe enjoyed the meal too so that was a relief since I'd talked up the orange chicken many times. Was it a stellar meal?...not really. Did it quench my itch for Panda?...absolutely! Now I can go another 5 years before needing another orange chicken fix.

I'd never eaten Panda Express before. I've seen them around for years...various shoppping centers…read moreand even malls. And I'd heard people talk about them and especially the famous orange chicken. But I just never seemed to be near one when that particular craving struck and / or I normally avoid chains. Yesterday I picked up Mark Y at Lihue airport. On our way to The North Shore I had to pull off the road and take a work meeting. Mark understandably preferred to walk the strip mall I'd parked at than hear blah, blah, blah from Zoom talking heads. 30 minutes later Mark returns to the car with 2 "to go" boxes. Yep. PANDA EXPRESS ambush. Mark selected a variety of things knowing we would share plates. Fried rice and chow mein noodles were the starches. Orange chicken on both plates...and Beijing beef and honey sesame chicken. The car smelled amazing and I couldn't wait to eat. I liked everything...the orange chicken is pretty damn great. I probably wouldn't have picked the beef but I'm glad Mark did because it was really yummy. And of course there were fortune cookies! Yay!
