Solid spot with lots of menu options! We came as a party of 2 on a Tuesday at 5:15pm. There is a small parking lot out back, and there were several spots when we arrived. The servers were friendly and attentive! The interior was cute and the windows let in a lot of natural light. Food: - Crazy Scallop Roll (8.5/10): Overall delicious! Each piece was bite-sized and had maybe two chunks of scallop on top. My only complaint was that it was kind of pricey for the portion sizes, but that's probably because of the scallops and that things are expensive in general in Hawaii. I was still hungry after eating this dish! - Panang curry with chicken and white rice (8.5/10): Super yummy! We thought that the curry flavors tasted pretty authentic. We wished we had gotten a bit more rice, as the scoop was pretty small so we had a lot more curry in the end vs. rice. - Mango sticky rice (8/10): I've eaten a lot of mango sticky rice dishes in the past, and this one was pretty average. The mango was a good level of ripe, and the sticky rice had a nice, mildly sweet flavor. Our suggestion would be to pour the coconut sauce over the rice instead of next to it so the flavors soak in! read more

Always a great choice when looking for great sushi, my favorite place on island! I haven't had the chance to dine in, but we always get sushi to go and it's always delicious and consistent. We'll dine in eventually, I'm sure the quality is better! The wait can vary with our pickup orders. This place reminded me to "never judge a book by its cover". Coming from the Bay Area, I can sound like a snooty-foodie. When I landed in Kauai, I was so famish that I "settled" for anything that was nearby. I set zero expectation after looking at the restaurant from the outside. Upon entering, we were greeted and served by 2 very professional and patient waiters. My spouse and I kept asking for miscellaneous stuff, but neither one made us feel like we were bothersome. All I have to say is that I went TWICE in less than 3 days!!!! Awesome food does not describe this place at all. There was just so much I wanted to try I had to go back a second time before I left. Small little restaurant that is always packed. Service is great very friendly staff and food is served quickly. What I had to get twice was the Crab Rangoon! The best one I have ever tasted and I love Crab Rangoon. They have lots of filling in each one, cream with lots of imitation crab you won't regret it. I also got the crispy pad Thai which was great! And the fried. California roll. Also got the soup Tom Kha and it was good too. DEC2025 First stop was a great one. We found this place after the flight since we were starved. Parking was for a few different shops but we didn't have much issue getting in. Service was friendly and answered any questions we had. They checked in frequently and refilled water. My partner and I ordered the fried chicken, eat healthy roll, a salmon avocado roll, and a salmon donburi. Everything tasted really fresh. I really liked the fried chicken and the salmon itself. The chicken had a great crunch to it with some sweet savory notes. I think it incited a want for chicken the rest of the trip too. The salmon donburi worked great for my partner who was trying to eat a bit cleaner after the long plane ride over. The eat healthy roll was good but needed something to gel it together. This is a cozy spot that really makes the most of its small space. We waited just a few minutes for our large group to be seated, which was totally worth it. Our server was warm and friendly, took our orders quickly, and kept the food coming at a great pace. Got the summer roll for appetizer and she wasn't lying when she said people love their peanut sauce -it was served warm, was smooth, creamy, and chunky in one with a subtle flavor of coconut (maybe milk/cream?) nonetheless it was bomb! After a long day of driving and beach hopping, our family decided to hit up this location on our way to our Air B&B It was somewhat late (8pm) and we are a party of 12. Probably the best bang for your buck since we arrived to Kauai. And yes, the food was delicious, i loved my Basil Fries Rice, played it safe that night, i had most of the sushi rolls that we ordered but missed a couple. I do not remember the names, since my family were the ones that ordered it. I was just there to unwind and enjoy every piece of rice before hitting the bed. One of the things i noticed was just how home like it felt to eat there. And even if it seemed busy, it felt quiet and peaceful, as if it was just me and my family at the restaurant.
