Cute establishment just a block or so off the downtown area. Walk up window and drive-thru with some outside tables. This is how I've cream should be. Excellent flavor, real ice cream, generous toppings at a fair price. I did the walk up window and the staff was friendly and helpful with the menu choices. Overall a solid go to place when you're having sweet tooth cravings.

Like most days lately it felt like 100 degrees and we wanted ice cream but being from another state we had no idea where to go. Naturally Yelp saved the day and Coconuts was SO GOOD. We ordered a large Coconut milkshake and honestly, it could not have been better. Perfect taste and consistency, and even though there was a line it was ready in a couple minutes. Great ice cream and so many choices. My granddaughter dropped her single scoop out of her cone on the sidewalk after only two licks. The server offered a fresh scoop which was so kind. Parking is best in the parking lot behind the building. They also have a drive-thru.

This seems to be the spot to go to in Cartersville for ice cream. I ventured here on a date couple weeks back. My date and her daughter come here frequently, so she insisted we try it. It's a very quaint boutique ice cream parlor, and you'd easily miss it or mistake it for a really small business (it's on a side street in an industrial area). First thing that stands out is this place is tiny! Like it should be in a tiny home community. There is no inside for customers (similar to Brusters) so it's either walk up to the side window or drive thru. For customers driving up, you'll be sitting on the side road to make your entrance and it's REALLY hard to read the sign on the flavors if you're more than two cars back. Hence, why I didn't get a shot of their flavors. Parking here seems to be fairly limited but there is a plethora of stone tables to sit at if you opt for the walk-up option. Walk-up also seems to be the quickest option. We came at a random time on a Wednesday and were 6 cars back. Thankfully they have two dual order windows. I ordered the banana pudding ice cream with a waffle cone, and it was amazing. It had 'Nila waffle pieces in it, which completed it. It did taste like banana pudding. I wish I could tell you the other flavors, but it was quick draw/pull trigger by the time I pulled up. I would highly recommend this spot. Be prepared for a wait if you are doing drive up. Best option is to park, if you can find a spot, and do walk-up. Another unique gem to Cartersville.

THE BEST ICECREAM EVER. I live 30 minutes away, but it's worth the drive. The menu is expansive. So many options. They're all good. Something for everyone! And there are a few nondairy options. On Tuesdays they have free toppings!!!! Nice workers. The customer service is always friendly. So popular, the line causes traffic!

I spoke with the owner, Darin, who personally served me and introduced me to members of his crew. They were bright kids who were friendly and interested in helping me. This little hole in the wall in the heart of Cartersville is family owned and operated. The ice cream is locally made, so you won't find a better, fresher taste anywhere around. There are cute little tables outside and the decoration is very cute, making the place feel very much like home. The price is very affordable, and being able to support a local business is always very rewarding in itself. read more

There is no better place for an ice cream craving with flavors like banana pudding, key lime pie, lemon custard and my favorite orange vanilla twist. The shaved ice is the real thing and suggest putting a scoop of vanilla ice cream with it. The staff are friendly and sweet. You won't find a better staff in cartersville. read more

Everybody that works here is so dang happy! I've been a few times now and have NEVER had anything other than the BEST experience and that's a pretty big deal these days! The snow cones are awesome, as is the ice cream. No matter what time I've been always bustling, especially at the drive thru, but they seem to get everyone through pretty quickly. I'll always go there over any other ice cream place! Love it! read more

Originally know as Sno Biz, we changed our name to Coconuts in 2004, when we moved into our current location. As a full-service ice cream shop, we've been scooping some of the best ice cream around for almost 12 years now.

The vibe is like going back in time. This IS an old timey Soda Fountain. It is an ice cream shop. It is a candy store with candies from yesteryear. The facade is antiquey. The counters are authentic and the fixtures looked like they were from the turn of the century. Unreal attention to detail. Cartersville is incredibly lucky to have this in their town. The menu is EXTENSIVE. There are so many things I wanted to try, but we decided to get the Banana Split. 3 scoops of ice cream: vanilla, chocolate and strawberry with hot fudge and strawberry sauce and we left off the pineapple and got double hot fudge. The whipped cream was REAL, and 3 massive cherries topped it off with nuts. This was sheer perfection and I couldn't stop eating it. The "Soda Jerks" were not jerks at all! In fact they were all quite lovely. They were super busy on a Saturday but we happened to be there during a lull in the action and they were very nice. The service is great!! I am not sure what the other dining area looked like. The entry into the parking lot is a little tricky for someone not familiar with the area. Parking was not an issue once we got into the parking lot.

Such a cute lil' shop and undoubtedly my favorite spot to get ice cream in town. On weekend evenings the line can get pretty crowded, but the employees handle themselves really well and never lose their cool. My sister loves their shaved ice (can't believe how many flavors they have!), my personal favorite is a classic ice cream cone (they have waffle, sugar, and cake), and a friend of mine loves their milkshakes.
