Coco's Kanom Thai is such a hidden gem of Thai Town in Los Angeles. It's located in a small plaza with free parking, although a bit limited, but usually plenty. I've been here a few times, and they have lots of authentic desserts I usually get in Thailand. They also have so many dessert options, including ice cream, where you can add unique toppings! Because of that, I am going to round my review from four stars to five stars. They also have a section with a bit older desserts (like a day or two old), where it's buy-one-get-one-free. Overall, lots of really good snacks and bites that I do highly recommend!

The mango sticky rice was good, but the experience was not. While I was in the bathroom, my boyfriend was waiting for me and the lady working there said to him, "No, the bathroom is right there," in a really rude way, like he was trying to go into the employee room. He was literally just waiting for me. The whole thing felt really unwelcoming and like he was being profiled. The food was good, but we won't be returning.

The desserts were good also they had a buy one get one free Special (maybe because it was 7 pm ). So we got the steamed pandan cup and Thai floral jelly with coconut cream . Both were good but the Thai iced coffee tasted burnt and didn't taste like Thai iced coffee should. I would not get the drinks

I'm Thai and My friends & I visiting Coco bc we are craving Thai desserts from CO. Nice atmosphere inside. Trendy with couple seats inside & outside. So many options to choose from. My favorites are coconut chiffon, Thai dessert in the non refridge section, Taro smoothie(made from real taro) and coconut gelato. Clean bathroom. Great services on gelato tasting. I deducted one stars bc we was park at the 15 mins parking spot in front of the shop that is a reserve spot. Was ask to move car even though we spent $$ at Coco. To find out that someone else parked there for more than 15 mins and they didn't say anything. We went to eat at Lacha restaurant nearby and saw the same car that got our original parking spot still park there. So, try to find nearby parking spot. If you want to park at 15 mins spot. I'm not sure what kind of double standard you will get.

My family and I stopped by here for desserts. We bought ice cream, mango sticky rice and sugus (candy). The coconut ice cream flavor was too bland for me. You can get better flavor as a bucket at LAX-C. Mango sticky rice was ok. Better to get at Wat Thai. It's just my honest opinion. This place is another option similar to Banh Kanom Thai. I appreciate another location as an option. Small parking lot available.

We walked here from the restaurant down the street called RUEN PAIR for some THAI DESSERTS. I have been here in a while because it's quite a drive from our home but, it's always worth it once you've tasted the Thai food... We ordered a bunch of desserts to try and some of the highlights are: The GOLDEN THREADS, their house made PANDAN & TARO ICE CREAM, FRESH COCONUT MILK ROSED SHAPED GELATIN & more! SERVICE: A++++++++++++++++ The very nice young man offered to take a picture of us. We were a party of 8 and had a great time... COINCIDENCE: We got our Thai weddings attire from the previous store owner when it was called THE PHUKAW... ROCK ON COCO's KANOM THAI...

Do you want some really delicious mango sticky rice exactly the same to the ones in Thailand? Today I tried Coco's Kanom and I was in absolute heaven. They had a stand right in front of their restaurant for the Thai Songkran Festival. It was my first time and I noticed they had a line of people so it must be good. It was exactly that and more. The sticky rice was half green and white (just like in Thailand) and not too sweet. The mangos were ripe and perfect. It was $12 which is a little on the high side but certainly worth it.

Came here with my aunt because she saw all you can eat durian on social media. We didn't end up doing ayce. We got like 8 packs of fresh durian. Saw other stuff that they sell, so we wanted to have room for those instead of eating a bunch of durian... Ended up being a good call. The durian weren't all that good. Some were hard. Thai milk bread is super soft and delicate. The packaging makes it look kinda boring, but the bread is soft and the filling is thick and yummy. We like the thai tea flavor. Sponge cupcake were super soft too. They have different flavors and all have coconut inside. It's wet coconut, so make sure to refrigerate or freeze them, don't just have them sit on the counter for a few days. They're sweet, makes a good snack. I like the pandan, hubby likes the chocolate. Coffee is good. Iced americano is solid. Thai coffee is a first for me, it was alright, just like any other sweet coffee with milk.

What a fun place to be when you're missing Thailand! The store is located in small strip mall with limited parking. The place gets surprisingly busy as well on the weekend. You'll see that most people here are picking up durian. The chiffon cakes were great! Super moist, packed with flavor. My favorite part was the added young coconut. I also enjoyed the Thai tea. Durian ice cream is really good! Not as sweet as the ones Costco sells. They offer lots of other Thai snacks, but I recently got back from Thailand and still working through my snack haul

My mom and I stopped in waiting for her tax appointment. What a cute little spot! Lots of Thai desserts, coffee, ice cream, and more! My mom was able to get some cooking staples and I picked up a couple of desserts to go. There are tables inside and right outside the store. We opted to stay inside and enjoy your tarp and mung bean pastry puffs. Yum! Everyone is so nice there! There is a parking lot and it's free!

Oh my goodness if you haven't been to this place and you like Thai desserts it's absolutely I must try. The service is OK and the audience is also just OK. However, everything they sell there that we've tried was absolutely delicious. They put out samples of so many items there so you really get a chance to taste what you might purchase prior so basically you have really good odds of getting it right! We had a passionfruit sorbet with delicious little textured coconut pieces on it. Anyway, we highly recommend this business. Do yourself a favor if you've got a sweet tooth and run over ASAP and try some other sweet treats

I love this place! It's truly for the locals, and there's such a variety of desserts in the shop! The toast we got was toasted just right and with the Pandan spread super yum!! The durian ice cream was legit, it gets my star o approval haha it wasn't super sweet like the ones at Costco but it still had that durian flavor. I would definitely come back and try everything else, I love the mini market section they had. I bought some desserts home and they were all so good and legit! The coconut milk for desserts was pure coconut and not mixed with anything else! There is a parking lot, but it's super small, maybe could fit like 10 cars? And there's plenty of street parking. Everyone is super nice there, and it's definitely a place to hangout with friends and family!

This place has the best desserts outside of Bangkok in my opinion. The lupchuk had perfectly jelly skin while the inside wasnt too mealy from the bean paste. The pandan jelly desserts were fragrant without being too sweet. In the daytime it's easy to park right in the parking lot. The ice cream selection is also very wide. They have indoor seating and the staff give you plenty of space to browse. If you have questions, they're happy to help. They even convinced me to get the buy 2, get 1 free special on the jello.

Super friendly barista who made the drinks quickly and served them with a smile. I liked everything but the price, but that's not her fault of course. This is a tea-forward spot that makes all ingredients and toppings fresh from scratch daily. Their most well-known unique topping is the barley popping boba. They use a real-chewy highland barley grain that gives off a nutty, earthy and milkdly sweet pop that makes for a unique texture. The fan-favorite drink is the Mochi Barley Burst which pairs a floral black milk tea with the popping barley and fresh handcrafted mochi. The tea does not have any artificial syrups and uses an organic milk with a bold tea base. The handcrafted mochi is super fun to have with the popping barley because it is pillowy and velvety. Make sure to mix it well together, so you can enjoy the whole drink for all its features. I like the ambiance of the shop. It's a smaller shop with some seating area. You order your drink at the self-service station. There's quite a few staff working to make the drinks, so we got our drinks in less than 10 minutes. I adore 3CAT and I would highly recommend visiting if you haven't already!
