Strawberry Jasmine Tea and Coconut Mango with Taro
    Ana T.

This is a nice tea/ice cream store located across the street from the Ovation Hollywood. The prices are very affordable, and the service was nice. There are two kiosks on the left side of the store when you enter. I didn't notice so I had ordered with the cashier, which was easy, too. My friend and I ordered the Strawberry Jasmine Tea and Coconut Mango with Taro. Both drinks were good.

Like HeLLOoo...lol If you haven't been to Hollywood in a while, it is time to go!! Seriously!! Mixue is currently offering their Mixue soft serve for ONLY $1.19!! I went yesterday. The ice cream shop was small & cute. The menu offered drinks for just $4 or less. Like wahhhhh?? I wanted to try the matcha soft serve & the original, but they ran out of the matcha. Still happy with the Mixue one. For $1.19, the ice cream was so good!!!! It had a good amount of creaminess to it and it wasn't so sweet. It was so smooth!! Love Love Love! The staff recommended a few drinks. I decided to go with the Peach Mango Jasmine. I usually don't like drinks with fruit bits in it. However, I really enjoyed this one. It was on the sweeter side, but I m not complaining about it lol We also got the Mixue Strawberry Shake, this one came in a smaller cup. I didn't get to try it, but the individual said it was good and wished that it came in a larger size. Not sure if they offer larger sizes. It was not discussed... Definitely worth the trip. I would return =] Staffs were great. I didn't see a RR Street parking- good luck

Affordable and tasty? Yes and yes! The earworm of a song, inflatable Mixues, and some unique offerings led me to giving them a go and it is a definite recommend. There's a good variety of menu items something for almost anyone's taste buds. I decided to try the tea shake and wasn't sure what to expect. The staff were friendly and clearly explained how even though the image shows layers (which would be difficult to drink with the ice) they then mix them together. And they certainly did - it was smooth and chocolatey and the boba added a nice texture. And the ice did not get in the way! If it's available on the menu, it's worth a try. Almost all items were under $5 which makes it a fantasic deal.

$1.19 soft serve in this economy is definitely a steal! This rating is reflective of their lower prices. It's nice to have this as a quick cheap dessert option if in the area. They serve you within minutes of ordering. The soft serve is a bit on the smaller side and definitely has an artificial type of butter taste almost. Again can't complain for the price. It's better than the soft serve machines at buffets but not as good as chic-fil-a or McDonald's is the only way I can describe it. Their Bobas are cheap but not the cheapest out there. The green milk tea with pudding was $5.75 and for the quality it's still pricey as I would just go to A Little Tea in SGV area and get a large milk tea with topping for $4.75 and it has a stronger tea flavor. They should open in SGV though and I'd be happy to stop by for another soft serve!

Good dessert place. Very affordable, straight to the point, and fast service. Small space and clean. No dine in so you just take it and go, which adds to its efficiency. The soft serve was only $1.69 and bubble teas started at $3.99! Tasty soft serve and teas were good if youre craving them! Although if youre looking for gourment and the best youve ever had it would not be here. 4/5

Delicious soft serve, and maybe the first time I've gotten to go see an international chain open in Los Angeles! My wife and I were walking by and couldn't believe the line coming out of this place. We had to see what was up. After about 35 minutes in line, we made it to the front and ordered. The prices are amazing - particularly for a matcha soft serve, which was around $1.50!?! The matcha soft serve was a slam dunk, as was the regular soft serve, and the cones were nice and fresh. The whole operation in there is just fun to watch too... The boba tea was a little too sweet for my taste, so next time we'll reduce the sugar percentage. Can't wait to come back and get the matcha soft serve again...

This huge Chinese boba chain finally came to Los Angeles!! All their items are below $5 and it's incredible to have this price in Los Angeles. My favorite item is their soft serve ice cream, it can be addictive. I had their top drink list: 1. Soft serve ice cream 2. Pearl milk tea 3. Orange punch 4. Mixue fresh lemonade 5. Grape drink

I was shopping in Hollywood a few weeks ago when I saw the Mixue mascot, "Snow King" (雪王), having a photoshoot on the Walk of Fame. I was so surprised to recognize the brand from my time living in China! I asked the photographer if there was a Mixue in the US, and he said they were opening their first location across the street, next to Miniso. I was so excited, I immediately texted my wife. She was thrilled to hear another Chinese brand was coming to the USA. We were told they'd be opening in a week, so we marked it on our calendars and planned to visit on their grand opening. We went back to Hollywood to try Mixue and waited in line early. They were giving out free ice cream for their grand opening. We ordered a variety of milk teas and other drinks. My wife gave away two of the milk teas she ordered, so I wasn't able to try them. We preferred the Orange Punch to the Grape with Taro Balls, but neither were very good, and we wouldn't order them again. The ice cream was the best thing we tried, so we'll have to try the milk teas next time. This is a budget-friendly milk tea, drink, and ice cream shop, and to be honest, we didn't enjoy it much in China. The main reason we visited was so my wife could share on WeChat with her friends back home that Mixue is now in Hollywood. I wouldn't recommend traveling out of your way, but if you're already in Hollywood, it's worth a try.

Mixue!!! Transliteration to honey snow. It doesn't matter because they have John Cena's favorite: bing chilling, but oddy I can't see him in there. First time I heard of this place was Wikipedia because they topped McDonald's over the number of locations they had. It's finally here in Hollywood LA. Hey it's cheap drinks like how we had Quickly's & Tapioca Express 99 cents boba, don't complain saying it sucks. I can get 2-3x the drink for the price of one. I'll do say, their regular tea drinks actually tastes good and does not have the artificial overpowering perfume aroma like Heytea or Molly Tea. The Peach tea is sweet with real chunks of peach, tastes great. The oolong is simple and satisfying. The lemonade thing taste really good (don't think it's all fresh lemon, but $2 is cheaper than soda), and the jasmine green tea reminds me of pre-Lollicup era green tea (you know that slightly bitter jasmine GT which taste the same from every low-mid boba shops to Chinese restaurant?). The glory days of soft serve for cheap is gone, but here, it's $1.19-$1.69. The matcha won't blow you out the water like Maiko or Urban Matcha in Vegas, but it won't blow your wallet at least. I bought 2 because I needed an extra for the car walk back - it's good, more than good. Service is quick, give them your receipt at the left counter to receive your cone fresh. I like the non-Asian guy speaking Mandarin, he's helping them meet their diversity hire. I'm just glad the boba shops here got a new competition after paying $7-10 for a drink.

I was so excited to try this place and it lived up to the hype! The line was a little long but went by quickly, and I parked across the street at Ovation Hollywood ($3 for 2 hours with validation from purchase at shops). I got the black tea float for $2.99 and it was pretty good and well worth the price! You can customize sweetness, and the workers are super friendly in explaining their options and can speak English and Chinese.

Welcome to SoCal!!! Ive eaten Mixue cones for years in SE Asia!! Cheap, creamy, sweat soft serve!! I only get the soft serve. They have drinks w boba etc. Simple interior just like in Asia. Friendly service and the best Soft Serve Ice Cream deal in CA!! If you want a cheap, good ice cream cone, visit Mixue. Be prepare to stand in line. Ha ha

One of the first Mixue in the US is finally open! I have not personally had Mixue in China but was happy to be able to try it here in the states. It is crazy how low the prices are. This place is right across the street from the iconic TCL theatre, and they had their grand opening today 12/19/25. I hear that they plan to open more across the states, with some set to open in New York! The ice cream that I had tasted better than IKEA, and McDonald's. The ice cream is rich, and the cone tasted like a waffle cone. Can't wait to try some of their drinks and other items! Until next time !

Snow King in Hollywood!!! How cute is this mascot? China's biggest drink and ice cream shop has a store here in Hollywood and I decided to try it today. Unfortunately for me they weren't serving ice cream and only drinks. I got mango coconut with taro balls and milk tea with coconut jelly. I did enjoy the drinks. One thing I don't like is that this is in Hollywood and wished it was in the SGV because I think it would really thrive considering all the drinks are 5 dollars and less.

Night time is the best time to go because service is usually more attentive. The server had time to share their top picks with us when we went, which were the Sweetie, the Dear Chocolate and Honey Affogato. Our group got all three to try. Honey Affogato: 4/5 I usually go for items with caffeine and I wanted to like it more than I actually did. It was cold and refreshing at first but the coffee tasted a little too bitter towards the bottom of the cup. Dear Chocolate: 5/5 No notes other than, it was perfection. My friend mixed the chocolate well with the soft serve, and she liked the consistency and texture. It wasn't too sweet for her either. She also did not add the sea salt Sweetie: 5/5 The honeycomb "chunk" is chewy and had a more natural taste to it, if that is what you're into! Combined with the lightness of the soft serve, the Sweetie is a solid choice for the people who are looking for sweets that are not too sweet. Overall, this is a great spot for a sweet treat. The area did get a slight upgrade from what I heard - they have a photo booth and the walls look like they've been painted over for a more vibrant yellow. They also sell merch of Honeymee tumblrs, mugs, and of course, local honey jars! Parking is challenging because this location is smack dab in the heart of Little Tokyo Village! They even sold candy which I kept staring at while I waited in line. Also it is cash only so definitely keep that in mind if you're like me and never carry cash on hand. There were so many flavors to choose from and we were able to sample a few. The lady helping us was really nice and was able to recommend some fan favorites and limited seasonal flavors! I ended up going with one of the fan favorites, which was the cookie monster. I just love cookies and cream in general so this was a safe option for me. I loved the different cookie bits that they had in there! It was also really fun because of how blue it was and stained my entire mouth. Luckily I had nowhere important to be after so maybe keep that in mind as well... Overall a great experience and I get why people waited in line for it!

Recently I went to an Ice cream shop that sells their ice cream and they totally marked up the price. They wouldn't be able to pack ice cream to go. It was only limited pre-packed flavors. So I had to come back to the original store to get the flavors I wanted! Wow! They didn't disappoint! They let us sample as many ice cream flavors as we wanted! My mom was so happy to try many flavors, I was worried if they would get impatient. The young lady that helped us was super patient and nice!!! And later another young boy helped also was also super nice!! We to total got 5 pints to go, but I only took pictures of mine. The We got coffee and cookies, 2xcoconut pineapple, banana, and dark chocolate. I already have rocky road at home from the other marked up store. At Fosselman's, you can see they made sure it was fully packed that the lid almost couldn't cover it. Love this historic ice cream shop that still charge a reasonable price and having affordable ice cream!! The ambience is very cute with lots of candies for sale. We got some too! Very happy with our experience again! Love Fosselman's ice cream!!
