What a vibe! Seems like a great place to work. I saw outlets everywhere, plenty of seating, a bathroom if you need, and yummy drinks! I got the Filipino iced coffee. I thought it wasn't too sweet (a good thing!) and that the oat milk complimented the ube well. It was a little grainy at the bottom, but I think it's from the ube. Service was nice! They got our orders out fast and were very personable.
Kind of disappointed with the drink quality of this Filipino fusion coffee shop. Walking-in I really loved the decor and vibe of this coffee shop. It seemed like a great place to relax or study/work at since they had wifi and outlets. For drinks, my friend and I got the Thai Town Latte and the Filipino Iced Coffee. Both were pretty disappointing. The Thai Town Latte was essentially a thai tea, but it was super milky and the flavor was weak. The Filipino Iced Coffee had a nice, nutty coffee flavor, but I didn't taste any ube flavoring. Additionally, I wasn't a fan of the grainy bits in the drink which I choked on a couple of times. I would come back since I liked the vibes, but only for the regular coffee drinks. The speciality drinks we had were a let down unfortunately.

Esthetically this place is beautiful Feels like the coffee shop scene in a movie. Got the 3 in 1 latte tasted ok but mainly tasted like milk didn't have that kick to get me through the morning to deal with my insufferable kids. Don't have any. Lack of customer service and how they were focused on each other's activities while I was the only other person there.

I love the Filipino influence, and they even have a Thai Town Latte, which is great since they're located in Thai Town. The Thai Town Latte has a star anise inside, and it includes vanilla bean, cardamom, tamarind, coconut, and oat. It's a tea-based latte, perfect for those who enjoy that flavor profile. The Filipino Ice Coffee is made with ube, oat, and house made oat condensed milk, shaken over ice - it's their most popular drink, and my wife loved it! The atmosphere is awesome, with exposed brick, colorful stripes, and a beatnik-like feel that makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. We will definitely be back!

This is a cute neighborhood coffee shop, although we did have. Little trouble finding it. (There's a dance studio that has the same name around the corner on the building). I could see parking potentially being challenging during the week in the area. But we had a great experience and the kids were even able to get something off the menu that they enjoyed. My daughter said it was the best hot chocolate she's ever had! Staff was friendly too so be sure to check them out!

It consists of vanilla bean, cardamom, sweet tamarind, coconut and oat, topped with a star anise. Definitely on the sweeter side, not really what I thought it was going to taste like considering the ingredients but it's a solid Thai latte. Milky and smooth. They have interior seating if you wish to stay. Street parking is available on a first come, first serve basis.

The menu is small, simple and uncomplicated which means ordering your morning coffee is quicker and the process is less intimidating even if you're complete new. The staff members are not only nice, but speedy too. I think people really come here for the Thai Town latte but it didn't have any espresso in it, so I ordered the Filipino iced coffee. It was the perfect level of sweetness but the ube flavor didn't come through enough for me. I would definitely come back for their strawberry chia pudding though.

As two parents from the Valley, just being in a space like this felt like a mini escape. Being Filipino, I might be a little biased, but ube-infused drinks and a Filipino-owned business? Count me in. But even without that, this place is just cool. The vibes are good, the drinks are solid, and it's the kind of place you actually want to hang out for a while. Plus, they're dog-friendly!
Great coffee. Love the chocolate drip. Their baked goods are next-level and always unique. I've been craving their sliced bananas with a glass sugar coating.

We absolutely loved this little shop! Walking in and seeing so many people enjoying coffee with their dogs made it feel warm and full of community. The vibes were immaculate- cozy, relaxed and the kind of place that makes you want to stay a while. There was even a woman with two dogs and she had brought their little beds for them! We kept it simple with an Ube latte for me and a sunset punch for my partner. The latte was perfect and not that horrific sweetness that tends to be the hallmark of most places these days and the lemonade was fresh and perfect for a lightly sunny drive over to the West Side. I knew I had to have the English muffin from the moment I saw it. We requested it simply toasted with butter and jam and shared each half. I wish I had a dog to sit and enjoy my time there as they offered free drip coffee refills. Maybe that's where I'll be later this week as I'm definitely coming back, and soon! read more

Stopped by for a cortado and overall had a good experience. The space is really nice, comfortable, clean, and somewhere I'd hang out. The cortado was solid, though not one of the stronger ones I've had. Presentation and latte art were decent, but there were some visible micro bubbles and the surface had a noticeable two-tone appearance rather than a fully integrated, glossy texture. The drink was also served hotter than a cortado should be, which made it difficult to pick up the coffee's character at first. As it cooled, some pleasant citrus notes started to come through and the drink became more enjoyable. Overall, a solid coffee shop with great atmosphere. I enjoyed the experience, but I think better milk integration and a more appropriate serving temperature would have elevated the cortado quite a bit. read more
Really cute and spacious spot for coffee and tea! They've got tables, free wifi, and a bathroom and are dog friendly. They were also featured in Louis Vuitton's guide to Los Angeles. What stood out to me at this spot was how flavorful the Thai tea is here. Not as sweet or creamy as other places but I felt like the tea had more flavor and spices. I love anything ube and sometimes it's hit or miss in LA, but not here! The Filipino iced coffee is very well balanced between espresso and ube. The inside is very cute and quiet if you're looking for somewhere to get some work done. Also had the ube donut, delicious! Street parking only but definitely a must try spot for coffee lovers. read more

I ordered the Thai Town Latte, and my girlfriend got the Mocha Latte. We also tried a few desserts, including the chocolate donut and warm bread with jam. The inside of the café was very nice lots of pretty plants, natural lighting, and a cozy atmosphere that made the space feel welcoming and relaxing. Customer service was okay. Not bad, but nothing that really stood out. The Thai Town Latte was a bit disappointing. If you're like me and mainly read the drink name, you might miss the ingredients listed underneath showing that it does not contain espresso. The drink tasted more like a watered-down Thai tea rather than a latte. The Mocha Latte, however, was enjoyable and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Overall, the atmosphere was definitely a highlight, but I'd recommend paying closer attention to the drink descriptions before ordering. read more

Cute little cafe that is dog friendly. Plenty of inside seating to work or hangout with friends. There's one outdoor bench for outside seating. I ordered a matcha lemonade- it was refreshing and earthy from the matcha. I also ordered the strawberry crumble waffle (heated) which was a tasty breakfast snack. The staff are friendly and helpful. I stopped by Obet & Del's Coffee around 12 PM on a Friday and was pleasantly surprised by the easy parking--I found a metered spot on N Harvard Blvd, though I can see it getting tricky during busier hours. Right away, I loved the trendy, chill interior. It's a great spot to study or catch up with a friend, and the atmosphere alone made me want to stay longer. Their O&D Originals menu looked super tempting, but I ultimately went with the Filipino Iced Coffee since I'm a big fan of anything ube-flavored. Service was quick, which I appreciated, but the drink itself was a bit underwhelming. I couldn't really taste the ube, and the coffee flavor was just okay--I personally prefer a bolder brew. That said, I liked that it wasn't overly sweet, and the presentation was nice. Overall, I'd consider coming back if I were in the area to try their Matcha Latte or Thai Town Latte, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. read more

Came back to let you all know that this place is still the bomb.com! I come here so often now and it truly never misses. My favorite is the Filipino iced coffee! Definitely a spot to check out if you are in LA. Also service is always top notch-- friendly and accommodating folks all around. Got egg sando and iced mocha less sweet. Love how egg yolk was not overcooked but overall it was too salty for me. I just ate only eggs and left egg paste and bread because it's really salty that I couldn't finish them all. My iced mocha was still too sweet for my taste so I might try no sugar or syrup next time. My husband and I were walking our dog Saturday morning needing our noon coffee fix when we stumbled upon Obet and Del's. The colorful stripes brought us in. dogs are allowed inside (yay) parking is street. When we walked in we were greeted warmly by the staff. The big windows, brick walls, high ceilings made me feel like I was in NYC but like in the 70s with all the colorful retro stripes. I loved how much seating there was with maintaining the airy feel. There were no pastries left when we came around, seems like by noon they sell out, well be back again for those next time. I got the Filipino iced latte, and my husband got the Thai town latte. Both came out pretty quickly! The Filipino iced latte was creamy, the ube flavor wasn't overbearing, it was perfect. The Thai town latte is exactly how it sounds a Thai iced tea but in a coffee format, the vanilla, cardamom notes carried through the latte, it was a delicious treat. I definitely recommend coming here, support your local businesses/ethnic unique flavors!. Will definitely be back here again to try the pastries! read more

Went to try this place for the first time. I got the Thai Town Latte. It does not actually have coffee even though it says Latte. They didn't tell me anything so for first timers be aware. I went back to ask about it due to the watery sweet flavor and thats when they let me know it's basically just Thai Tea. I felt deceived and disappointed they didn't even offer to change it. For just Thai tea it's below mid so I do not recommend this drink. My friend got the Filipino Iced Coffee and it was good though. read more

I got the Thai Town Latte which is star anise, vanilla bean, cardamom, sweet tamarind, coconut, and oat so literally like a Thai Tea and it was so delicious. I've been craving Thai Tea ever since I saw Lisa's collab w Erewhon buut I say save your money and get this quality drink bc it's perfectt. We also got the Filipino Iced Coffee which is ube, oat, and house-made oat condensed which was also so yummy. Honestly anything with ube I love. read more

This little hole in the wall coffee shop is soo good! It's so cute, and small there were hardly any tables but the drinks were great! I got the town tea latte iced , it taste Like a Thai tea, and we also got a drip coffee. And the pastries were really good. I spent some time here while I waited for my car to be ready, the service was great the guys were super nice! read more

This is my go-to café on weekends. I love the old-school vibe--it's cozy and welcoming. I just wish they had more seating and tables, since many people come here to work or study and bring their laptops. The coffee is good and reasonably priced. Parking can be a bit challenging at times, but that's expected given its great location in Thai Town. read more
