Great service! There is something for everyone on the menu The veggie burger is not house made but is the brand beyond meat which is my favorite! Came loaded with guacamole. Fries were very Good! went Codys in Sebring tonight, and had the worst. steak I've ever had! it was the 14 ounce ribeye, and I ordered it medium rare. it was so tough and grisly I finally gave up on it, and took it home to our 2 little dogs. they couldn't even eat it. as we were leaving, we passed a booth, and I noticed another gentleman with the same problem. I don't think either one of us had a ribeye, but from the look of my meat, I think it was a cheaper cut of sirloin, and not the $25 steak I ordered. We enjoyed everything we ordered! It was all delicious! I only have one warning... everything is massive!!! We had cheese logs (mozzarella sticks) they were the size of actual tree logs!! Massive!! I visited last night with a party of eight. All four couples were billed incorrectly and OVER-CHARGED. My daily special meal was billed at TWICE the price. Another couple had a half rack of ribs billed as full. Two couples had an overcharge on their prime rib. How do you incorrectly bill four separate checks at one table? How do you charge 2x for what's supposed to be the daily special? To top it off, after being promised and reassured that they cancelled the incorrect amount, we were then actually billed the incorrect amount on our credit card (an amount never even signed for). What a mess... poor from the management to the table server who didn't know drink prices and specials. read more

The taste of the city water in Sebring is disgusting. Don't order a glass of water here. The soda and ice tea tastes just as bad due to the Tap water. The restaurant needs to put in a water treatment. The food is good but the water is foul. read more

My family and I ate at this location many times ans its always been great, especially their prime rib. However, the last two times we were there the prime rib has been chewy and hard to cut. Not the best traits for sucha cut of meat. Originally we spome to the manager and asked if they had changed their meat provider. The answer was no and he offered to send us home with some better steaks. We said no anx waited several months to return and it was the same poor quality as the previous time. First it's not 2 stars because of the service. Our server was very nice and fast. We came at 5pm on a Tuesday and were in a massive "early bird special" rush. The wait was short so they move people thru quick. But that's sort of the problem. Got feeling like it was an assembly line. The food was average tasting. Salmon not bad but no flavor. The broccoli was rubbery and the steak tips had little flavor...bland. The bottomless salad was good. Bread was also really good. We expected better quality. The quantity was big on all dishes and that likely is what attracted the big crowds waiting to get in. read more

We like Cody's on Monday or Tuesday nights as kids eat free. Last night I tried the Veggie Burger and it was awesome! I comes with a huge dollop of guac, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion. I changed out the French fry side for a sweet potato. Our waitress was CC who kept our party of three adults and three kids satisfied with drink refills and plenty of napkins. She made sure our food came right along and the kids did not have time to get hangry! Our family favorite meal place! read more

This was our second time here. We got there at 11 to beat the crowd. Glad we did because it filled up quickly. I ordered the steak and shrimp and my wife ordered the steak. We also ordered an appetizer of sweet potato fries. They were an excellent choice as they were great. Our waitress was great and kept the tea and the salad coming. I love Cody's and it would get 4 or 5 stars from me usually but what did they do to the baked French onion soup? It was uneatable. There was so much bread in it that it soaked up all the broth and was just a thick grainy mush. I showed the waitress and she agreed and took it back. Since we were leaving the manager gave me soup to take home and I asked for no bread. When I got home and opened the broth it was the same . . . A big mushy mess. I will continue to go to Cody's but beware of the onion soup. read more

We came on fajita night (Wednesday). Food was fast and with the downside being underwhelming endless salad but the reason for the rating is the service. "Amber" was horrible. Didn't know a thing about the menu (including how the fajitas were prepared and served ...on fajita night). Our table of 9 was only offered refills one time in 1.5 hrs and never bussed. read more

We met family at the Sebring Cody's for the second time. As before the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Everyone was very satisfied with our meal. Our server was Christina G. and she did a very good job. She was attentive and pleasant. It was a happy hour while we were at the restaurant and we all ordered beer on tap. My elderly uncle (88) ordered beer for himself and my aunt, although they asked for different beers. They each had two beers served to them immediately while my husband and I shared a round. When the beer arrived and my uncle realized his errors we asked Christina if she could take the second beer back or help us resolve this blunder. As retired hospitality managers we thought a manager could adjust this for our relative graciously. However, when my husband asked to speak with him, not only did he say no, he didn't have the courtesy to come to the table to converse. REALLY!!! This has produced a very sour feeling with this particular restaurant and we won't patronize it again! read more

Ordered to go and asked for a salad with no onions. The salad I got had onions so I asked them to please fix it and they took it in the back and scraped the onions off and gave it back to me. I found pieces of onions in the salad and the salad smelt strongly of onion. I'm allergic to onions. read more

Don't know which came first Mannys Chop House or Cody's but one obviously copies the other. Only Cody's is very sub par, food had no taste, prime rib was tough and no taste and couldn't cut thru the fat and silver skin. Salad was bland with very little dressing only 1 pepperochini pepper in the whole salad, dinner rolls were cold and tough, didn't get enough cinnamon butter to butter more than one roll. Should have driven the extra 30 minutes to Mannys. Cody's isn't in the same class as Mannys at all. read more

Our first trip to this restaurant. Heard great things. Not so much. First, the Trio Dip appetizer was sub par. The queso was orange and gritty. The salsa was straight out of the Tostitos jar. Guac was eh. Second, we ordered our food. A few minutes later, another couple was seated next to us. They ordered their food, food was delivered, food was eaten, dishes cleared, and check was paid----ALL BEFORE WE RECEIVED OUR FOOD. We questioned our waitress, she "will check on it". A few minutes later, the "owner" lady approached our table, apologized, said the kitchen lost the order, and they are rushing a new order for us. Our food came out. Mine was average. Hubby ordered a strip steak and received a ribeye. After we paid (no discount was offered or given), another manager lady came to our table and offered a "free dessert" for our trouble. No thank you. This was the worst experience we have had at a restaurant. We wanted to love it. Will never return. read more

Very fun spot! We always come here after a day at the race track to share a 9oz filet mignon and baked potato with awesome yeast rolls and their endless salad bowl. The house garlic ranch dressing is pretty bland, but get this: Happy Hour is 2:1! I got Chardonnay and hubby got margaritas. Fun atmosphere, steak cooked perfectly, reasonably priced. The worst service ever. Waitress Sam was awful zero pre bussing did not take one dirty dish off table. Never got my onion soup salad was drowned in ranch dressing. Food is really good. The insides are something to see. The outside is comfortable. My main complaint, is every place like this down here, brings a big bowl of salad to the table, and they all use some variation of RANCH DRESSING. Most will eat it, because they want a salad with their meal. But, I hear them bitch about it. I'll eat it, but, I don't like ranch dressing. Offer a 2 nd salad, in maybe a smaller bowl, with a raspberry vinaigrette, or something different. My family would visit there, more often, if we had a choice with the salad. I understand that they make one huge container of salad, but try using a second smaller container with a different type of salad dressing. NOW, the rest of the food is really good.I took family from up north in there, a couple of weeks ago, the only complaint, " THE SALAD". On a road trip looking for a bite and we were surprised at just how really good our dinner was. The staff seems really glad to be there. It's VERY clean and decorated super cute. We ordered the 1/2 order onion rings and they are huge! Seriously huge! We ordered the special teriyaki pork and prime rib. It came with delicious rolls and a bottomless salad, the portions a so large I can't imagine people get more salad. The sweet potato was one if the best I've had. The prices are very reasonable and we left with two boxes of left overs! Shout out for our server Rosie she was a delight. read more

Cody, if you're reading this... you better watch out next time our paths cross. At my last visit to Cody's House, he made me sit in a table in the corner of the restaurant, away from my friends and family. He said that I had been a bad boy and that bad boys don't deserve to have a good time with their friends at Cody's Roadhouse. I wasn't even sure what I'd done to be a bad boy but whatever. I ordered some of Flamer's Pain Wings and prepared to have a painful time eating some wings, even though I was several yards away from my friends I was still ready to have a good time. Immediately, I spill some pain sauce all over my chest. I don't wear shirts so the sauce immediately spilled all over my rotund belly and sunk into my rancid chest hair. I felt and looked pathetic. Cody ran up to me before I could clean myself and started pointing and laughing at me. I ran out of the restaurant, accepting that I really was a bad boy. I won't be going back there until Cody apologizes. read more

We used to like this restaurant but, the last two experiences have changed our minds. 1st we ordered take out. Order was completely wrong. Called to complain. No apology just you can come back and get original order. I was sick husband was tired and just didn't feel like driving all the way back to get what we ordered in the first place. 2nd 2 weeks ago we had friends over and they wanted to try Cody's. We thought maybe it was just the take out that had problems so we went for lunch. Everything about this experience was wrong! OK we went to here for my birthday last October I thought this place was going to knock my socks off but to my dismay they really let me down, I ordered prime rib and got raw meat very undercooked if they held it over the grill would be an overstatement. Now I know a good prime rib, this wasn't and the only reason I'm giving this two stars is because my wife had an excellent steak she said, so and maybe his place deserves a second chance I don't know yet haven't decided to go again.
