This was our second time to visit and to eat here and EVERY time it's amazing. The beignets are delicious. We visited the first time around Mardi Gras and had the King Cake latte and King Cake beignets. Yum!! This time we had a plain latte, a lavender latte, a mocha beignet cold brew and an order of beignets. We ordered them to go but since we were just passing through I wasn't sure about timing and the lady I spoke with on the phone was sooo helpful!! She was just extremely friendly and gave us so much helpful information. This is honestly one of the best coffee places I've been to in a while. The hostess and Michael our server were excellent and attentive the entire time. Even sitting outside (we had our dog with us) they both came out and made sure to check on us and see if anything was needed. We had the cold brew, apple pie tea, beignets, Boudin Benedict with cheese grits, and Alligator Benedict with potatoes. The food came out quickly and was So delicious. My only regret was that I didn't get the cheese grits. Portions are large and done just right. And they brought the same water for our dog! We love animal people! So glad that we found this little gem-we will definitely be back whenever we are in town. I don't think you could go wrong with anything that you order! read more

Arrived about an hour before closing, the host did inform us it would be up to an hour wait for the food which we were okay with. The server took our order, however we waited over an hour and a half for our food but other tables around us that came in way after were served before us. My boyfriend received his food 20 mins before I received mine. By this time the restaurant was past its closed hours. When I received my food, it was in a togo box. I asked the server why, she stated I told her to do so and I informed that was not true, we went back and forth, I then asked if I was able to eat my food there since I was hungry and actually wanted to eat at the restaurant, the server said yes. The hubs and I simply loved Coffee:30! The restaurant was very clean and welcoming. This is a perfect place for breakfast/brunch options. You go to the register to order. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable about the coffee, which is a huge perk for a former barista. We both ordered the "Hit the Snooze" which is a ham, fried eggs with cheddar on a croissant. It is served with potatoes, oatmeal or grits. We both chose potatoes. It was delicious. For our coffees we order Cafe Latte's. They have all the options for coffee from frappes to iced coffees. We ordered beignets to go. They were super fresh. The only objection was they were a bit doughy. The bathroom was clean and also had a baby changing table. Amazing food and even better people! I had such a great experience at Coffee 30. The food was excellent -- fresh, flavorful, and served hot even during a busy rush. What really stood out to me, though, was how well the entire team worked together. You can tell they truly care about each other and about the customers. I was especially touched by how kind and patient everyone was with their special needs staff member. Coffees are great! Beignets were not good - probably over cooked with dirty oil. I would not recommend. They were so bad we didn't finish them and we never do that!! However the Eggs Benedict ,crab cake bowl and French toast were yummy. Service was kind but the kitchen could not keep up with demand . Our order took 52 - 56 minutes from ordering to table. We got our coffees one by one which I found odd. And drank them before our food arrived!! They gave us a five dollar coupon for next time and three waters to go. They are new so they just need to adjust their customers seating so that the kitchen can keep up with the order volume! read more

The coffee is delicious and the food is wonderful. This place is highly recommendable; however, prices are a little steep. So, just be prepared to pay a pretty penny. My husband and I had breakfast there one day and it cost us over $60. We weren't expecting dinner prices at breakfast time, but unfortunately that's what this economy has come to. I had the hot honey chicken biscuits with country potatoes, and they were full of flavor and just the right amount of biscuit to tame down the heat if spice isn't your thing. My husband had the boudin Benedict with country potatoes which he thoroughly enjoyed and said were full of flavor. We also had an order of beignets that were fresh, hot, and delicious. The coffee was delicious as well (a white chocolate raspberry frappe and a southern pecan cold brew with sweet cold foam). All of the staff were very kind and attentive. The béchamel sauce on mine was amazing, the chicken, bacon, and well-seasoned potatoes were crispy, and the eggs were a perfect over medium. The biscuits were soft and buttery with a hint of saltiness that I found irresistible. My wife's sandwich was quite good as well. There was a good amount of tasty ham, the croissant looked to be very fresh and buttery, and her potatoes were also crispy and well-seasoned. It's average food... I think most visit the place due to the atmosphere, bar and outside seating. I find that most of the dishes offered don't match the price whereas others exceed. It's subjective to taste I suppose, the small potatoes that are the side with most are at times dry and lacking flavor depending on how long you have to wait on your food. Some dishes are over seasoned whereas others lack taste for the price. The variety of coffee offered is really a nice thing. All in all it's a 4 out of 5 for me. The wait at times are pretty long to be seated and then the wait on the food can be quite long. It's not the people who serve there that's the issue in that situation it's the amount of people that are there ... its stays packed, I believe it's due to the difference in places to eat around the area personally. The lavender latte was excellent though but added a bit to tye bill. Still don't think I'll return after spending $19.78. Don't have photos of potatoes, but they were small and not very fresh. They must do a lot of that business. Plenty of seating, mostly four person tables which makes laptop setup easy. Food Drink - I had a white mocha, solid coffee. I think next time I am here I want to try some straight black coffee to go with my breakfast donuts. Breakfast - I am in Louisiana, and that means I have to have some beignets. They are a coated with a generous amount of confectioners sugar. Coffee:30's version was light and hollow. I want some more with my coffee this morning. Wiki states that France has 20 different versions of the beignet, who knew, not me. Service - Fast and friendly. It was great seeing so many law enforcement agents visiting. This was my second visit to this spot for breakfast, this time spurred by Restaurant Week in Lake Charles. They had some special offerings on the menu that I saw posted to their Facebook page, so I decided to stop in for a sample. I elected to eat the Heat & Sweet French Toast Sandwich, a delicious combination of smoked ham, fried egg, Swiss cheese, and pepper bacon jam, all on French Toast topped with liberally applied powdered sugar. While I waited for my meal, I enjoyed the Café Mocha that they prepared rather quickly. As I waited, I noticed that another table had issues with their order, and the server was one of the most polite people I've encountered in some time. This person was apologetic, but offered to make things right in a number of ways. I was astounded at the manners presented by this young individual, something that is not a familiar sight in most establishments these days. Aside from the fantastic service, the food was good.
