We have stopped going there as often and prefer The Bekery for breakfast now. Wow the food was AMAZING the prices are definitely high though. I was in a party of three we all got coffee and food and it came out to over $70 which is definitely high. BUT you can 10000% taste the quality of the food and coffee. The bacon is definitely expensive bacon, thick cut and very flavorful. (My family buys bacon like this and it can be pricy) The Waffles themselves weren't my favorite but the chicken was definitely interesting (in a good way). Also the beignets were TO DIE FOR definitely the best I've ever had!!! Met a friend for Sunday brunch. The cafe was extremely busy. The restaurant recently transitioned from counter style serving to seated dine in service. After ordering water while we browsed the menu we found out they were out of lemon. Next up I ordered a cappuccino and that was unavailable as they were unable to froth milk. I waited 15 Minutes to get cream For my drip coffee. We all shared beignets. They were the best item I ate while here. We ordered three breakfast items. Only to be told after placing the order and waiting 10 minutes that they were out of eggs. Two items were fine but not mine, so I reordered the hot honey biscuit. The non egg two items arrived after about 45 minute wait. And I got no food. 30 minutes later I asked for the item to be removed from my bill so I could leave. As I was paying the item was delivered as a to go item. I ate it once I got home. I do not recommend the hot honey biscuit. The biscuit was stale. The kitchen overall was excruciatingly slow. The wait staff was not especially helpful with all the delays. The restaurant was very disappointing. No lemons, milk frothing, no eggs paired with kitchen slowness and poor wait service. Overall will not recommend or return. read more

This place is overhyped and way OVERPRICED! I tried the location by darrell's and waited in line for 10 minutes, not bad. Then I ordered and she said it would take around 35 minutes!!! For my $20 meal that I ordered at a counter... Tried the new location and purchased one muffin for $5.50... Was told that the heater wasn't on so they would give it to me cold. If you have the money, go for it. But if you're short on time & cash, just head to starbucks. read more

Food and service were phenomenal!!! We arrived around 11:15am, Saturday, it was full but we didn't have to wait for anything! We were seated immediately and our waiter, Michael, (He was SO AWESOME!) was very attentive, talkative, and gave great suggestions! He had the manager come over to describe (and reassure me) the creamy crawfish sauce (I'm finicky about crawfish lol). She described it so well that we had to try it! We ordered it as a side, but could have put it on everything bc it was SOOO GOOD!!! They were so patient with us, bc the menu was HUGE! So many great choices! The food!!! The pancakes are an inch thick and phenomenal! I had the veggie omelette with ALL of the veggies and a side of the (best I've ever had) grits with Gouda! What a disappointment. I'd like to start with the fact that we spent $65 for two people on breakfast. That's far more than I expected upon arrival. - ordering at a counter is okay for Starbucks but not a restaurant serving $20 chicken and waffles. Have table service. - I ordered the avocado toast. First impression - gross. The avocado did not appear to be fresh. It was a thin smear of premade guacamole. The sourdough bread was neither hand-sliced nor thick. Egg was cold. All around gross and I typically love avocado toast. - My husband ordered the cowboy bowl. It was served so cold, the shredded cheese on top wasn't even melted. I did eat the two pieces of bacon and they were good. - We shared an order of pancakes. They looked amazing. Super thick and dusted with powdered sugar. Butter and (cold) syrup was served in plastic containers. Disappointing. The pancakes themselves were barely edible as they tasted straight up like a premade mix and were not cooked through. - The coffee tasted about like our hotel room coffee so I didn't bother drinking it. - The restaurant itself was awkward. All the lighting was that cool/blue bulbs, not the soft white which makes everything look like an operating room. It was so cold. The silverware came wrapped in some weird sort of huge paper napkin which didn't unroll easily and you felt like was meant for sanitary purposes. And the plates were plastic. Overall, this place is not worth your time or money. Go elsewhere for a better breakfast experience. I'm off to Starbucks for a reliable cup of coffee and egg bites. read more
