A super cute vegan cafe with tasty beverages This one's for the girly pops since it's pink, decorated with flowers and just such a cute ambience. It's small but there are seats both inside and outside Matcha azul - 10/10. No notes. The lavender was perfectly creamy and foamy and everything was sweet but not overbearing And everything here is vegan!! :) Including their pastries and dishes. I definitely want to try one of their egg tartines next time

Located in Miller Alley in Old Town Pasadena, Coffee and Plants is a quaint, aesthetic café that lives up to its name. The company is plant-based and mission-driven, with a second location in Studio City. Immediately upon walking up, the entrance is flanked by outdoor seating, a bike display, and red roses up a brick wall. Inside is just as aesthetic, with a flower wall perfect for photos. There's also merchandise available for purchase, though I was a bit disappointed by the limited selection of plants, some of which looked like they could use some sun. The menu features seasonal specials in addition to its regular offerings. The strawberry cream match was sweet and creamy. There was one person working the counter who was friendly and helpful.

It's right beside the Roll Factory.

Am not a coffee drinker but I love plants so I got curious and decided to visit this place. It's a cute café down Miller Alley of Old Town Pasadena. The vibe is comfortable and welcoming. It was funny when I asked about the puppucino only to find out that it was a drink for one's fur babies. Aside from coffee, they also offer matcha, teas and some snacks. It's a bit of a drag that one has to pay for parking to go to this place.

Situated in an alleyway off Colorado and next to IPIC theater this cozy coffee cafe features well....coffee and plants. They sell plants and feature them prominently in the decor. They have an array of beverages including teas, coffees, and lemonades. I tried the peach please and it was a fun and sweet beverage that I could drink all day. Their menu feature pastries and a menu of vegan friendly menu breakfast items with indoor and outdoor seating. A great place for a quick bite and worth stopping in to try their options. Super friendly service!

Ambiance: it's a cozy and chic small coffee place located in a small alley in Pasadena, with cute decorations and green plants, they don't have a restroom onsite and you have to go to the one located in the corner of the courtyard Service: friendly staff, helpful and attentive, accommodated special request for mugs instead of cups Drink: simple and classic drink menu, vegan options non diary only, like oat milk and almond milk Blue Lavender Latte - **** refreshing taste, recommend Pink Matcha - *** overly sweet Price: decent quality and slightly overpriced, expect each drink costs about $7~$8

Came here today with my bestie and our fur babies on a Sunday Morning. Highly suggest coming in a Sunday. Street parking before 11am is free. No pay to park, 2 hour parking on Union Street. It's been a while since I last been here and it's just as amazing as I last remember! This time I came here to get my coffee fix, get my Pasadena Coffee Passport Stamped, and my best friend had yet to try this place out. Photo op worthy place along with plants to purchase as well! This time I ordered: - Iced Vanilla Latte with Oat-milk - Peach Please ( Lemonade) - Blueberry Muffin - Peperomia 'Ginny' Plant The drinks & food were delicious! The staff were very sweet! This place is dog friendly and had indoor/ outdoor seating :)

Most charming little cafe tucked in an alley way in Pasadena! Plenty of seating. Most of the plants are adoptable and this cafe sits next to a theater. Matcha Lavender gal, and wasn't disappointed!

    Berry Energizer?
    Gabriel R.

This is supposedly the Berry Energizer. But there in contrast to the advertised photo within the coffee shop are no fruits. No strawberries of any kind. When I pointed that out the barista apologized but then brought out a packet with I guess strawberry flavored powder ti put in. Perhaps it's in the fine print but even though tasty. It's not what was advertised. Also it was loaded with ice. Maybe it was just an off day. Still will come here but definitely need some clarification on the drink Hence the three stars

    Avocado Toast

Coffee and Plants is a cute little coffee shop nestled in a little alley way in old town Pasadena. I came and tried the avocado toast. It was good but a little too sour for my liking. They have a few different options for savory foods and a variety of sweet treats and caffeinated beverages to choose from. Nice quiet place to study and/or get some work done.

    Dubai Chocolate Latte

Tucked away in the alley area of Old Pasadena, Coffee and Plants is a charming spot for a quality coffee break and perfect for those Instagrammable foodie moments. If you're using the Pasadena Coffee Passport, you're supposed to get 10% off a drink here, though to be honest, I'm not sure if the discount actually applied. My Dubai Chocolate Latte with oat milk still came out to $10. A bit pricey, but I genuinely enjoyed it. The drink had a nice balance of coffee, pistachio, and shredded coconut, and by the time I finished it, I was surprisingly full. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and I noticed a few pastry options available too. Service was quick, the coffee tasted great, and the overall vibe is adorable. Definitely worth a visit.

Great service, great coffee, and the cutest vibes. Parking is a bit tricky but it's always worth it

We stopped here as we were in town and were so happy to find this cute coffee shop. Staff is super friendly and they have indoor and outdoor seating. We got vanilla lattes one iced and one hot super delicious and high quality we ordered the Savory Tomato, Mozzarella, Basil Flat Puff and chocolate croissant warmed up and enjoyed them so much for another of each to go!

The ice cream itself was plain vanilla soft serve, but when sandwiched by two entire chocolate chip cookies, I think the sweetness can be overpowering. I ended up adding chili to it, which helped, but not much, which made me think salt was the missing factor. Not sure how that happened because the other soup, and my friends braised chicken noodles, tasted absolutely perfect. If anything, the other dishes were super bold with their flavors. I love that you can pick different handmade noodles. They were so good. A little chewy and cooked well.

Dog sitting in East Pasadena and really wanted to get out and get something delicious to eat…read more Checked Yelp and sure enough, 1 mile away is Miya. A tiny Thai place in Altadena, at the edge of where the fires were, we were happy to support the business. Turned out to be an excellent choice. You walk in, order and pay at the counter and server brings food to your table. The decor is very nice. It can get quite crowded during peak meal times, so I recommend going after the rush. We had: *Pork and shrimp egg rolls that were fried perfectly and not greasy. *Pad Kee Mow with chicken, which was delicious but next time I'd get tofu instead of chicken. They use white meat and I prefer dark meat. *Spicy crispy pork belly, which had delicious favor but we did find the meat to be a bit over-cooked and therefore tough. Still it was delicious and took home the leftovers, which we steamed to warm up water and the meat was nice and tender minus the skin. Staff is super nice and helpful. Cannot wait to back! I've already got my heart set on their eggplant dish.

**Disclaimer--this is based on Miya food booth at Coachella 2026, not the actual restaurant…read morelocation** I went to Coachella Weekend 1 and Miya was actually my very first vendor meal there. I got their Spicy Shrimp Pad Thai and omg... it was lowkey one of the best pad thai I've had in a WHILE. And I don't say that lightly because I'm picky picky when it comes to pad thai. It's literally the one dish I always order at any Thai restaurant, so my standards is kinda up there. But also... this was in the middle of the desert at a music festival so ngl I didn't have high hopes lol. But their Spicy Shrimp Pad Thai was so good!! The flavor was super authentic, spicy, tangy, just hitting all the right notes. The noodles had that perfect chewiness, not clumped together so they know exactly what they doing with their food! The shrimp were big and tasted fresh and all the toppings: bean sprouts, grounded peanuts, and lime, just brought everything together so nicely. Also the staff were super sweet and friendly, and I got my food in likes 5 minutes, gave me more enough time to sit down and enjoy my pad thai while waiting for Sabrina Carpenter's stage setup. Miya's Pad Thai completely won me over at Coachella, it's sooo good to the point where now I actually wanna go visit the real restaurant if I'm ever around the Altadena area.

I had 2 other experiences prior to this where the chicken seemed off but I kept trusting it would be as good as it when I first had Kismet when it first opened back in March 2025. On May 7th, 2026 at 3:30 PM I ordered for pickup my usual meat and potatoes plate. Weirdly, the order was ready for pickup in a couple of minutes when usually it would be ready in 10 minutes which would have been less sketchy. I should have trusted my instincts. I walked in to pick up my order and there were zero customers around, usually there are a few customers eating at the tables. Sign that the quality has dwindled and the regulars aren't retuning. I get back home to treat myself (I spent $28 for the meal plus a drink.) Much to my dismay I opened the plate and was so disappointed. It was half of what normally comes in the box but the potatoes were stacked high and of course extremely oily. I was like ok let's just eat this because I don't have more time to find another place to get food plus I've already splurged. The chicken was undercooked and rubbery and came with no chicken breast like it normally does just some boney legs. Since I was so hungry and paid the extra money for "light" chicken I still ate it. I'm sick now, the night of May 8th I'm still on the toilet. Save your money and go to Zankou if you want good rotisserie chicken they've been doing it right in LA since the 80s. Or Costco; 5$ chicken unless you want a $32 dollar chicken here to make you and your family sick and poor.

This time I got their mango aguafresca, flan, esquite, and chicken torta to try. The mango agua Fresca was sweet mangoy and refershing. The flan was firmer than what I'm used to but was still super creamy, not too sweet and had plenty of this caramely toasty flaves. It's corn season and the corn in the esquite MNM. Amazingly buttery juicy sweet and generously topped with rich mayo, Cotija cheese and tajin. The torta was also REALLY YUMMY and was filled with crunchy fresh onions, lettuce, tomato, and radish, soft beans, savory cheese, and tender limey flavorful perfectly grilled chicken. I even added some of their super fresh yummy guac and omg pure deliciousity right there. Overall this place is still pretty good. Mango agua Fresca $5 Flan $5 Esquite $7 Chicken torta $12 +$4 guac
