The Coffee Corner at the farmers market is easily one of my favorite stops every weekend. Their hazelnut cappuccino is absolutely delish with just the right touch of sweetness. But what truly makes this spot special are the wonderful ladies behind the counter. They are always super friendly, warm, and happily chatty, creating such a welcoming vibe. Coffee Corner is a cute little spot within the Farmers Market. I've been a few times now and love popping by when I need a brew. The staff is always so friendly and nice! I'm always warmly greeted and treated well throughout visiting. My stops are usually very early morning when Los Angeles is still waking up...but they are full of positive energy! Their prices aren't bad at all with their Frozen Blended drinks at $7 a pop, big and full of flavor. I've tried the Spanish Latte Blended drink which is my favorite and the Green Tea Latte Blended is my second fav. Both are refreshing, not too heavy at all keeping a light but nice caffeine boost for the day. Now I know this is an old school style shop, but no cold brew!? Not everyone likes their coffee hot so I'd love if they added a cold coffee to their repertoire. They do have blended frozen drinks as mentioned which I love btu would also like just a plain ol' cold coffee. However even with that being said, I know I'll be back! read more

Blended Spanish latte was good. Like with all blended drinks by the bottom is more just the blended ice without the coffee flavor. Overall it was tasty, not very strong coffee flavor but kind of just tasted like a regular blended iced coffee. read more

Coffee was good.I bought the mocha latte and my wife had the Spanish latte. They tasted nearly identical. Service was decent, but I must say, my two drinks in total should've been $13.95 and instead of asking me if I would like to round it up she just helped herself. Had she asked I would've said yes and a tip. But I wasn't asked and that bothered me. It's just the principle. read more

I stopped by Coffee Corner at the farmers market yesterday and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I ordered a medium fruit punch slushy, but what I got was more like juice it barely had any ice or frozen texture at all. When I went back to bring up the issue, the response I received was, "it's not that frozen." That didn't feel like much of a solution, especially since a slushy should actually be slushy. I was hoping for better service and a drink that matched what was advertised, but sadly this visit didn't deliver. Also the amount they told me did not match the receipt. I was very disappointed yesterday. read more

A great grab for caffeine pickup! Located in the center of the Farmer's Market, we stopped by and got a blended Spanish latte and blended Green tea latte! Their spot may seem small but when the line got long, a barista was able to take and make our order on the other side. The baristas were quick, kind, and very chill! It's a nice stop and both drinks had good balance of caffeine strength, not being too sweet, and did not taste super watered down after melting a bit. Overall, great! read more

Happened into the Farmers Market while I was in the area to do other stuff. This isn't a typical farmers market that's impacted, though it is crowded, so I felt OK to take my dogs through. I stopped here because their coffee was actually reasonably priced. Not only that, come to find it tastes really good too. I usually just settle for bland or burnt tasting coffee when I get it but this was great. Also got a cinnamon roll since well, they were there and someone needed to eat them. Not my favorite, it was on the crusty side, but the interior was nice and squishy. And warm. Five stars for making a pup cup for my doggies too. read more

Terrible customer service. Got kids a large peach lemonade, but they didn't like it. Asked them to swap to strawberry (same price) to see if they liked that better and the girl in front said no. I've never been to a food place that wouldn't swap out an item if we tried a little of it and didn't like it. Wife had some coffee and said it was not very good. She got some from another real coffee shop in the market and it was much better. Don't even bother with this place. Not worth it. read more

Needed a pick me up while walking around the Grove and decided to try this place out as it was the first coffee place we saw in the Farmers Market section. - Chai Latte - We got this drink frozen, think of Starbucks Frappuccino texture, and it was actually so good. I really liked how much cinnamon they put into the drink and surprisingly, all that ice didn't dilute the flavor of the coffee. - Coffee - Also got this drink frozen and the coffee flavor is so strong which I liked. It is on the sweeter side, but it really did pick me up. Definitely try this place out while at the Farmers Market. Super fast service! I ordered a blended coffee and it came out in about one minute. Cashier was friendly. She happily answered all the questions I had about their drinks. Decaf options available. First place I have come across that offers blended decaf lavender coffee. Delicious! Priced right. I wish they offered blended in a larger cup size. Conveniently located in the Farmers Market. Plenty of outdoor tables to sit at. Right next door is a high-end strip mall. If only they aren't so far from me! I would get a blended coffee from them everyday, lol. read more

We.love.lattes. Both husband and I needed a pick-me-up so here we were. I am a fan of vanilla lattes and my latte was perfect with one pump of vanilla. Latte x donut = love (by the way) Don't settle for any coffee. Come here and treat yourself to a fancy coffee drink. Life is too short for anything less. So we will, for sure, make a point to stop by here for a latte on all future visits! read more

Coffee, quantity, and pricing were all very satisfactory! I've been trying to find a coffee place that has pricing on par or below a chain's pricing and this is it! Felt welcomed and attended to by the workers with a friendly attitude and quick service. Coffee was exactly what I expected for the price I was paying. The woman serving my friend had accidentally made him a latte instead of the mocha he ordered and when she realized her mistake she quickly started making another drink and offered him the latte free of charge and even gave him a discount for the mocha. She was so apologetic when it was an honest mistake. Really illustrates their great customer service! So glad I found this spot! read more

I'm astonished at myself that I've been to the Farmers Market (100+ ?) times over the past years, but only found this place out recently because I was so thirsty! Their herbal lemonade is what I get every time I come here now. It's not overly sweet at all, and has a nice basil infusion. All for just over $3! This place's espresso drinks are also amazing. They fresh grind their beans upon ordering, and so far I have loved their Americano. I don't have much more to say other than to give this gem a try. My girlfriend and I stopped by this afternoon looking for the best latte in the Market and or Grove. After walking for a few minutes and asking around we finally stopped here. The two young ladies working were very nice and patient with us. More so me asking more questions than you normally should at a coffee shop. We ordered two different drinks as usual. The Spanish latte and cafe latte. The Spanish latte was on the sweet side while they cafe latte was on the stronger side. Both were very strong and yet flavorful. Stopped at corner coffee because I was told this is where I would find the best lemonade in LA... And they weren't wrong! It was tart with just enough sweet. I opted for an original lemonade but they had other flavors and frozen too! Had it been a little warmer I would have gone with the frozen. Along with the lemonade being delish, the service was also wonderful. Smiles and friendly. I appreciate that for sure! Since 1946! It's all about location. Location. LOCATION! Here in the heart of the LA Farmer's Market between the atatulfo mangoes and the fancy pecorino cheeses, there almighty not be a better place to sit and caffeinate while people watching and leaving the kids with their other parent for the late afternoon. Coffee Corner was founded in 1946, founded by Bob Langston who left us a few years ago. Lilian Sears, who had worked for Bob and managed the business for years bought it from him upon his retirement in 2001.

Meet the Business Owner: Lilian S.

Lilian had worked for Coffee Corner as the manager for over 10 years prior to buying the company from the then existing owner in 2001. She has changed many of the practices in the shop, insisting on all fresh ingrediants. This is evident in the quality and taste of all of her drinks and pastries.

This point is key as this neighborhood can be tricky to park in during peak business hours even though there are several metered spots available in front of the shop and on surrounding streets. I recently visited on a Friday morning and found nearby parking within walking distance, and you could also park at the nearby library and walk if the cafe if circling around for a spot is getting you nowhere. Now, on to the cafe itself! Verve offers a variety of drinks along with pastries for sale, and they even hosted a cookbook popup during my recent visit. I usually get espresso-based drinks or their cold brew, and I've never been disappointed by the drink quality or the time it takes to prepare my beverages. There's ample seating both indoors and outdoors, and I could see why this would be a popular spot for reading or getting work on your laptop done.

My only complaint is that I wish the cup was bigger. - Breakfast Sliders: I wasn't expecting much from the sliders, but everyone always hypes up their slides, so I knew I had to give it a try. I was not disappointed! The egg is so fluffy and the sauces that come with it are so delicious, especially their hot sauced. I added bacon and avocado too and it was great. - Pistachio Toast: I feel like their pistachio toast is not talked about enough. It was so yummy and satisfying that I wish I could get another one. The toast is hearty and the pistachio spread with sea salt, olive oil, and olive oil is the perfect balance of sweet and savory. I'm still thinking about their toast. Although it is quite pricey, I think the taste and quality justify the price. The interior is small and there's about 6 tables outside which is pretty crowded so you might have to take it elsewhere to enjoy. But the nice lady assured me that they make the syrup in house just using a little of the Vegemite and the drink just tastes like rich caramel. I got it with almond milk. It wasn't cheap... it rang up to over $8. But thankfully they don't charge for non-dairy milk. The portion seemed a little small for such a hefty price tag but given the latte's richness in flavor, it actually was just enough. Good stuff! Check it out.
