Not sure if it was because we went on a weekend but we got two peanut cream lattes and they tasted wildly different. The espresso for one was very bitter while the other one was flavorless. I would say that the peanut cream itself was quite good with a strong peanut flavor but didn't pair well with the watery or bitter espresso shots. I also got an everything croissant which was toasted and butter (think burnt onions, sesame seeds, etc). Really hoping it was an off day and would come back to give it another try sometime Overall, service was good and the inside was nice with plenty of seating although I can see a being crowded on a weekday
There was a line out the door for this spot, but it honestly went very quickly and once we ordered we only waited a few minutes for the drinks to come out. Really good teas! Black tea latte with the black tea foam was SO good and really outshined the blueberry matcha (but that was also good).
I can't say enough good things about Series A such a unique and fun spot with a Korean inspired menu. The mango sticky rice green tea was beyond amazing. Oh my gosh, the flavors were so creative and delicious. It was such a fun and layered drink experience! I arrived like 45 minutes before they were closing, and there was still a line. It is so popular which is great to see and totally worth the weight. There's plenty of parking. The staff is so talented and absolutely so sweet. Nick could not have made a better tea, and he was the coolest. He made the whole experience even better with his kindness and great positive vibes. I highly recommend stopping by for the ambience too. It's the kind of place where you can work, hang out with friends, relax, and interact with the awesome staff. Most of all, you get to try some of the most unique drinks, and they are amazing. Such a fun place to discover something new! Thank you! Support local!

We had default settings for all drinks: Matcha cream top: amazing matcha flavor and right amount of sweetness Mango sticky rice cream tea: refreshing Sweet corn: love the corn and coffee taste together Definitely coming back.

Korean pear matcha latte. As a matcha lover I enjoy trying different variations. Their blueberry matcha is good, although not much different from other places we've tried. What was new here is the Korean pear matcha lattes. So of course I had to taste it myself. Honestly I was not impressed. Couldn't really appreciate the pear flavoring. Also the matcha was underwhelming.
Stopped in around 2:30pm for an afternoon pick-me-up. I got lucky with parking in the lot in the front of the store. This coffee shop has a lot of unique flavors, which I appreciate. I ordered a black sesame latte, which only comes iced. It has a charcoal cream top and quinoa puffs on top. I absolutely adore black sesame, so this latte was very exciting for me. I'm not huge on super sweet coffee, so I think this flavor was a good choice for me. You definitely can taste the nutty and pleasantly bitter components that are common to black sesame, which I found to balance the sweetness of the cream top well. I got my drink standard, so I believe it was whole milk. I loved the texture of the quinoa puffs on top. I do however wish I tasted more espresso. I really couldn't taste it at all, which was a bummer. The drink cost $8 dollars and is relatively small as well. For what it was, I found the price to be too steep. The baristas were not the most friendly or intentional with customer service either. I enjoyed the innovative flavor, but this wouldn't be a shop that I run back to.

Best in Beverly Hills. This has become my weekly sweet treat because I literally think of it as a reward. I am obsessed with their coffee. The Peanut Cream Latte is my FAVORITE latte I have ever tried (& I have tried very many lol). It is so unique & creamy, with an earthy/nutty taste from the in-house peanut syrup they make. The workers really accommodate the customers which is so appreciated. If you ask for light cream, they'll do that. If you ask for less sweetness, they'll do it. They always perform every time I ask for something. The Honeycomb toffee latte is also so freaking DELICIOUS. I highly recommend ittt, but just know it's very sweet. The topping they put on top is made in-house as well. The matcha is very good. Not the best in LA, but still very good.

There's metered street parking nearby which is also limited unfortunately. Seating is exclusively indoor, limited, and since people like to sit around w/ laptops here, more limited. Service is quick and polite. Strawberry matcha latte 3/5, this was just okay, neither a prominent strawberry flavor nor a prominent matcha flavor and somehow not a good blend between the two. I had hopes I came in on an off day but alas! Mango Sticky Rice Matcha 2/5, a dream of matcha omg my friend got this there wasn't even a HINT of matcha in this it was laughable
Got the strawberry matcha and it was a refreshing drink! The strawberry was subtle and balanced with the matcha well. There was a small line, but went by fast. There were a good amount of tables, but it does get busy. It's in a small plaza with parking too.
PARKING may be difficult to find when busy but it's FREE without need to validate within a small plaza. Expect roughly 6-9 dollars per drink, MILK SUBSTITUTIONS are available, and they have roughly 4-10 SEATS and tables within their store, but I wouldn't recommend it as a reliable spot to sit down and study. Corn latte: absolutely bomb. It wasn't overpoweringly sweet, and still had that distinct coffee taste with subtle sweet corn undertones. Incredibly lovely, would get again Cream top matcha: also quite good. Surprisingly did have a distinct matcha profile, and wasn't overpowered by the oat milk we subbed in. Very creamy and I liked it a lot as well for its earthy undertones. Neither of the two drinks featured too much ice, nor too little, which id also like to highlight. In terms of service, the person who helped us at the cashier was not friendly and offered a demeanor that you wouldn't typically prefer from coffee shops, but the lady who got us our drinks was very nice and made sure that our drinks were correct, the milks were accurate, and that we got all the other small items that we needed.
I love this place, it has always great matcha and coffee. The double matcha is pretty strong and great quality. The pistachio cream latte was spectacular! Didn't have anything I didn't like. It has a lot of space for sitting and doing laptop work, usually you can find place to sit. Parking is also very easy, 1 hour free. Only minus is the ambience sometimes, which you can expect due to the location. Otherwise great place and love coming here!

The quality of the drinks I purchased were all spot on. I ordered a matcha cream top, black matcha cream top, and a black sesame. They were all amazing. I will be back to try the blueberry matcha, sweet corn, and the mango sticky rice on my next visits. The service was decent too. It was pretty busy in there and yet the staff were still very pleasant. read more
Series A Coffee is a South Korean-style cafe that focuses on Asian-inspired coffee drinks. [Parking]: Free 60-minute customer parking is available within the plaza. However, I ended up finding street parking on San Vicente Blvd and just walked here because the plaza is located at a pretty awkward corner of the intersection. [Atmosphere]: The interior atmosphere reminded me of Bonsai Coffee Bar in Sawtelle with small bonsai trees hanging on the wall. Almost all the tables were occupied on Sunday afternoon. [Menu]: Yelp's top recommended drinks are Sweet Corn Latte and Matcha Cream Top. They also sell some interesting flavored drinks like Pear Matcha and Mango Sticky Rice Cream Tea. At the cashier counter, they also sell mochi krunchies. *** Sweet Corn Latte (sweet corn puree, espresso, milk, cream top, corn kernels - $8.00 iced only): he corn kernels had an interesting twist with a crunchy texture. It was a perfectly creamy and balanced drink. Basically the shop perfected this drink. Pear Matcha (pear puree, milk, matcha - $8.50 iced only): It was my first time seeing a cafe sell this pear + matcha combo. I am not saying the quality was not good, but the combo did not quite hit the spot. *** A solid 4.5-star on drinks with Sweet Corn Latte = S-tier, but I do feel like I can find slightly better drinks at cafes in Koreatown vs drive all the way to Beverly Hills for one. read more

Series A Coffee is a solid addition to the local coffee scene with a minimalist, inviting space that's great for catching up with friends or getting a little work done. I went with the strawberry matcha, and it was one of the better versions I've had--the matcha was smooth and earthy, while the strawberry added a fresh, natural sweetness that complemented rather than overpowered it. I also appreciated that the drink wasn't overly sweet, letting the quality of the matcha shine through. The staff was welcoming, and my drink came out quickly with a presentation that was just as photogenic as it was delicious. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu, but the strawberry matcha is an easy recommendation for a first visit. read more

Space was cute, line out the door almost the entire time I was coworking there. Got to the café just after 9am, and stood in line for about 10 minutes. Scored a corner table and hung around for a little over 2 hours. The Sweet Corn beverage was really delicious, and the Pear Matcha was smooth and had a pleasant, soft flavor. I got to try the ham and cheese croissant as well as the everything cream cheese croissant, both top notch options. (Do bring floss, though! So many seeds!) read more

I never make it to this side of LA without complaining and thinking "this better be worth it" and dangggg unfortunately must report that this WAS worth it and I'll have to brave the drive and the traffic again I fear ALSO these drinks are $8 and I still find myself wanting to come back?? In this economy?? The honeycomb toffee was really just THAT good wow Honeycomb toffee ($8)-- MY LOVEEEE what a perfect cup no complaints. The espresso is good, milk ratio perfect, but the star is the dalgona cookie crumbles on top!! As is, it's fun to eat and it's good texture and sweetness. Leave some in the drink and it'll melt (it's just sugar) and it'll sweeten your latte if that's what you like. I had a half n half situation where I ate some and left the rest to melt. Blueberry matcha ($8.50)-- Props for making the blueberry jam as opposed to some store bought syrup or jam. You definitely get the pulp/pieces up the straw. Matcha was a bit too grassy bitter for me and there wasn't enough blueberry flavor once it's mixed. It just kind of all dilutes into a milky-ish something. Wouldn't get again. Matcha latte ($7.50) -- Grassy bitter, not my favorite. Thank god it wasn't the one I ordered. Overall matcha is a miss for me. The added simple syrup was free though which is nice. If we all happened to order coffee drinks I think this would've been a 5 star review but unfortunately the 2 matchas really weighing it down. My sheer love for that honeycomb toffee perfection is probably why it's rated 4 and not 3 but yeah... stay clear of matcha and just go for espresso!! I will say it's nice that additional syrups and milk substitutes are free here! Very unexpected for Beverly Hills. Also a free parking lot as well? Lots of good going on so definitely will be back for another espresso drink if not the same honeycomb toffee!! read more

3-1/2 stars (bump up for well-curated coffee selection) Series A has blown up on social media, and the lines (even on a weekday morning) reflected that! All the same, the line moved relatively quickly, and I got my drinks super fast: I opted for the sweet corn latte and mango sticky rice cream top. Sweet corn latte had a tasty coffee base, but I wasn't getting any sweet corn flavor. Mango sticky rice cream top was a miss: I'd expected it to have more green tea flavor (with mango flavor mixed in), but it was more like drinking mango juice with the faintest hint of cream top: for a hefty $8, the mango sticky rice cream top wasn't anything special, and I would give this a pass. I appreciate that Series A has such innovative and beautifully-designed cream tops (along with your standard matcha and black sesame ones), but execution could be a bit better on taste. I'll have to go back and try some other drinks on the menu! read more
Cool coffee shop with nice vibes. The design is contemporary and the crowd is hip. The customer service was very welcoming. I was recommended an iced pear matcha latte and it was very delicious. They use pear purée to sweeten the matcha and to give it that pear flavor. The drink was very smooth, balanced and refreshing. Great spot and I'll be back for more! read more

If you come to this spot I would highly recommend their coffee over their matcha, the matcha is good but it's more on the bitter side. The foam on top does help for sweetness, but I still prefer the coffee. My brother ordered the peanut butter latte which was perfect I needed up switching my drink with his. read more
This was a cute and busy coffee shop in a spacious plaza with ample parking. I was pleased with the variety of flavors on the menu. I wanted to try one of their other lattes but they were out of something so I opted for the corn latte because it's such a unique flavor for coffee! Overall the drink was okay but nothing that I would reach for again. The workers were very nice and the shop itself was big and had a good amount of seating. read more

Have heard rave things about this place, but it didn't live up to the hype :( unfortunately wouldn't come back as the 2 drinks I'd been eyeing on their menu were quite underwhelming. Was super excited to try the mango sticky rice drink, but it was pretty mediocre and I wouldn't get it again. My friend tried the black sesame drink, which was also not very good and super nutty/earthy if you like that. It was a bit busy on a late weekday afternoon, with most seats taken by people working or hanging out. read more
visited series A on a sunday morning right before 12 and the line was out the door! luckily, only waited about 10 minutes and the drinks came out quickly! i ordered a matcha latte with oat milk + agave, and the sweetness was the perfect balance for me. i love that they don't charge extra for syrups and alternative milks. as a sweet treat, we also ordered a rugelach, which was also delicious! definitely worth the wait! there was plenty of seating even if it was busy since most people grab their drinks and head out. great environment & ambiance and love that they have free wifi! read more

Worth the hype! When I arrived on a Friday around 10am, I was able to snag a parking spot. The Series A line was almost around the corner of the store but trust me, it moves quickly. Took me 15 minutes to get to the counter and after ordering, my drink came out in 2 minutes. I ordered the double matcha with oat milk for $8.50 and a pistachio cream croissant, bringing my total to $16.45 before tip. I've spent a fair share of my time (and money!) trying mediocre matchas in LA but this one was a stand out. The matcha is strong, earthy, with light umami, and the salted foam has some sweetness but the cream is not overpowering or heavy. I also noted that alt milks and syrups are free!! I don't know if I'd work or study from there because it was quite loud, but I did see a few folks studying in the area. There is seating in the form of couches, chairs, and there are windows all over, making the vibe clean, elegant, but not pretentious. Also a standout- staff was extraordinarily kind and friendly. I'm used to staff being understandably stressed and curt when working in busy LA shops but the service stood out. Will be back for sure! read more
This upscale coffee place is always so busy. Comfy velvet chairs, bar stools looking out the window, and plants make for a nice setting. The coffee shop is indoors only. The line was out the door but it moved fast. A mix of different people here on their laptops. Customer service is on point and so friendly! They did not have any decaf of the fancy, IG worthy drinks. The drinks do look and sound amazing though and the person in front of me told me the matcha was incredible. It did look good when they picked it up. A beautiful color green. Next time I'll come earlier so I can try one. No caffeine for me in the afternoon. I got the savory pastry filled with spinach and cheese and the one filled with mushrooms and cheese. Both excellent. The pastry runs out fast though. On my last visit here they were already out and it was still early in the day. Such a gourmet treat for a coffee shop. I also got the double chocolate cookie bar. Decadent and gluten free. Definitely a nice place to pick up some coffee, grab a pastry, and hang out. Free parking. It's in a mini-mall. read more
It would probably be closer to a 3.5 but it wasn't as good to be in my 4 star category. It was okay matcha but didn't taste how it was supposed to (got pear). The presentation is cute and the workers were very nice, but it was average matcha. The parking is also a nightmare so I probably wouldn't waste my time going again. Fun to try! read more

Fun drinks. I tried the corn latte and liked what they did to bring out the corn flavor in a way that it balanced well with the espresso. It was nicely creamy and not too sweet, and I enjoyed the dried corn bits as well. The second time I went, I got the strawberry matcha. I thought this was alright, mainly because the matcha wasn't as earthy tasting and the milk was a bit too frothy. On my first visit I was too late and they were out of pastries, but on my second I was early enough to grab one. The everything croissant was amazing. Tastes just like an everything bagel but in a crunchy, layered form. It came with a generous amount of cream cheese inside that it was very indulgent. I'd 100% get this again; in fact I'd say this would be the motivation to come back again when I'm in the area! read more

mango sticky rice tea was wayy too sweet and tasted like passion fruit? no mango taste at all and every sip was lowk a different flavor imo i could taste the sticky rice flavor at least pear matcha was just grainy and lacked the taste of pears. tasted like starbucks matcha disapprove of this place as an asian avid matcha drinker read more
Series A coffee is a must go to coffee shop if you are in Beverly Hills. They have really unique and creative drinks There is an adjacent parking lot which is perfect in this area. The coffee shop has inviting ambience. The staff were very energetic and friendly. We ordered; - Hot Chocolate with almond milk 5/5 -Honecomb Toffee Dalgona Latte 5/5 Their Dalgona Latte was heavenly! They added generous amount of airy, perfectly sweet honeycomb toffee. The drink was very unique and refreshing - Mango Sticky Rice Cream Tea 5/5 My goodness! I fell in love with this drink. It was creamy, rich in mango flavor and it tasted like a dessert in a drink, just irresistible drink. I had to get one more before leaving the shop. The service was fast and efficient. Wow what a really nice cafe. Upon arrival, I noticed the line, obviously a good sign! Not too much parking, about 15 spots with 8 other businesses, but luckily people are coming in and out. The line moved pretty quickly, about 10 minutes and I was like 8th in line, and after ordering, it was like 2 minutes and my pastry was warm and coffee was perfect. The pastry was definitely fresh, and the coffee was perfectly strong and not overly sweet. The service was friendly faces and it was clean and aesthetically pleasing. I will be back if I'm ever in the area to try everything. Super cute and definitely top notch coffee. read more

Finally, last Friday around 3PM, a friend and I were in the area and were pleasantly surprised to find an empty lot and no line! It's a small coffee shop with only a few small tables and some outlets along the wall. Service was friendly and kind. We both tried the matcha cream top. Pretty solid matcha! Not very sweet, but smooth and creamy. Intrigued by their other menu items and hope to come back to try some of their other items soon! read more
Cute shop with a parking lot right in front. It isn't too big though so parking might be difficult if you go at a bad time. One of my favorite neighborhood cafes that I find myself coming back to often! love the great options on their menu for both matcha and coffee! My first time trying black matcha (black tea version of matcha) was here, and I've never seen it offered anywhere else! The staff here are always so friendly as well. I tried the pear matcha (less sweet) today, and it was truly delightful! The matcha was strong and of great quality and balanced well with the pear. I could also taste that there were real pear pieces in the drink as well! A great spot to get some work done or chat with friends - however it can get pretty busy and their parking lot is only 1 hour free. read more

PEANUT BUTTAAAAHHHH Best service and best coffee! I love this place whenever I stop by in LA. Environment is nice and super clean just wished it would stay a little open past 5Pm. Otherwise 10/10 coffee!!! read more
