For Thai/Lao food, this is high up there in quality, taste, and price. The biggest thing I can say though is that the owners care about the quality they put out though. You can see it in there coffee and food. Everything is prepared fresh and fast. The taste of the food is pretty authentic to what you would find in a Lao party. They take the time to make sure that you'll experience the culture in every little bite you take. The price for what you get, you cannot beat. It's very reasonable, and the portions are excellent. Been wanting to try this place for a while since I heard they had bubble tea. The store is small but clean, wish they would turn the volume up on the music a little because it's kind of awkwardly quiet. Furniture/seating is adequate but not really what I like in a coffee house. Was planning on staying for a while but there's not much room to spread out if you have a laptop and the seating isn't really inviting (basic hard tables and chairs compared to the sofas and love seats I enjoy at JoZoara's). Only one employee and the owner working, she was very accommodating and remade my boyfriend's drink (he enjoyed his mocha frappe with a little more mocha added). They pull fresh espresso shots for their frappes here (most coffee shops use a pre-mix) so I was really impressed with that. Prepare yourself for a more intense espresso flavor than you're probably accustomed to if you frequent Starbucks. I got a taro flavored ice bubble tea and really enjoyed it. Would recommend ordering with light ice though because it did get in the way of the boba. My first time trying Asian sandwiches. I tried the combo, which was good. There'tr bbq pork, white pork sausage and variety of vegetable inside. This will be one of my favorite dishes. I also tried Pad- Thai and pork bun. They were delicious. Moreover, if you like milk tea or bubble, this place has many kind of drink as well. I love frappucino milk tea. Tried the pork bahn-mi sandwich and small honey dew bubble tea for lunch yesterday. Bahn-mi sandwiches must be an acquired taste because I thought it was okay, probably not something I would order again. I felt there wasn't enough meat and the veggies weren't pickled enough. I had the smallest size bubble tea that I thought was the perfect size for me and only $3.55. I got it blended instead of iced but next time I think I'll like it better iced. Also it could've been a tad sweeter for my taste. I will most likely return to try their other bubble tea flavors and other menu items including pho and pad Thai! I love this place! It's small, and simple. The name Coffee Fusion really keeps it a hidden gem because you wouldn't think they'd have a full menu. The best part is that they are open super early in the morning. I have been able to pick up a pad Thai Togo at 9am as I was heading to work, as well as Pho for breakfast. CUSTOMER SERVICE: 5 stars! Girl in "Hogwarts Alumnus" shirt was super helpful and nice! WHAT I GOT: Taro Boba & Green tea boba - both blended! REASON: There's little to no competition for boba places in TN and even less in Murfreesboro so unless they're terrible it's a no brainer! Both of the drinks we got were good and they didn't taste watered down or anything. There wasn't a lot of boba in the drinks though! So maybe next time we'll ask for extra boba. I like the coffee and the donuts tasted really fresh. I'm gonna come back and try the pho and ban mi sandwiches .. came back to try the pho and it's really good. The most authentic in town. Nice portion. I got the small, Not too big not to small. It's a little more expensive than the other pho places in town but the pho is better. And they are open on sundays! The wonderful staff keeps me coming back and the fact that I love boba tea! Since my boyfriend is having physical therapy in the same area I've been stopping in 3 times a week trying all the different flavors. They have many that I've never seen on other menus such as kiwi, banana, and passion fruit. I am happy to say they've all been great and I haven't regretted a single trip so far. Walking in and seeing the glass case with food does make me curious and so I finally started nabbing some of those along with my normal order of boba tea. Pandan waffles anyone? Yes please. And pork buns. And banh mi. One day I plan on actually sitting down and trying the pho and even though the name is Coffee Fusion, I have yet to even try the coffee, haha! Went there today with my boyfriend for the first time to try bubble tea and it turned out wonderful! I ended up getting the green tea bubble tea it tasted pretty good I also got the steamed pork bun and a blueberry muffin. My boyfriend got the shrimp fried rice( it was a pretty decent size). We ate lunch here today and tried the bbq pork bahn mi and beef pho. Both were super tasty. The pho was generous and well seasoned. The pickled veggies in the bahn mi were spot on. The coffee was very good but the waffle was delicious! I like just love coffee but this place gives you substantially more for your money. We came here for lunch with a group of 5 people and it took us an hour for half of our group to even get the food. I ordered the tofu and veggies and the tofu was mushy and undercooked. Coffee is good, and it looks like the selection of cold drinks will be great with warmer weather. The food tasted alright as well, however the prices were high. And we ordered the fusion waffles and realized they were pre made sitting with the pastries. It tasted good when warmed up, but I would have preferred a freshly made waffle. I was on the road and stopped for a quick latte..the young man got up from a table and washed his hands and then took my order, handling filthy money, so it would have been better to take my order before washing. I was the only customer at that moment. He put his hand over the top of my cup at least 5 times. Two people came in as he was putting a coffee sleeve on my cup. He took their orders next, which included food. I said to him that I was on the road, traveling, and could he please make my latte next, as 3 more people came into the shop. He said he would AFTER he took their orders! Seriously? They were just reading the menu at that time. Finally, a man comes from the kitchen to make coffees. He also handles my cup several times by its top, but also PUT HIS FINGERS INTO IT! These folks need health training, particularly being situated smack in the middle of the medical complex area. They should also consider the customer's wait. First come, first served. The coffee tasted burnt as well, sadly. read more

I thought I'd try it since I'm not a fan of what Starbucks has become. The 20 ounce cold brew ice coffee came in a 16 ounce cup. I checked that by pouring it into my 16 ounce travel mug in the car. The first thought I had on taking a sip was that someone put their cigarette out in a full ashtray just before running water over it and into a cup of ice. I managed to get half down because of the cost before I called it quits. There might be better selections but the cold brew ice coffee was terrible.... unless you are into cold wet cigarette ash beverages. read more

TERRIBLE service! Sign says they close at 8, so we go in at 7:30 to get a drink and something to eat, happy to check out and support a locally-owned place. We order a hot drink, and the person working the counter says they close the machine for hot drinks at 7:30, so we can only get cold. It's a little strange, but not a problem. We order food, and he says we can order but can't eat in the restaurant. I ask what time they close, and he says 8:00, but that all their regulars know they shut everything down at 7:30. We should have left everything, asked for our money back and left immediately, but instead we paid over $20 for a mediocre cold latte and underwhelming food that won't improve with the drive home. Save your time and money and spend it with businesses that treat customers with kindness, even if they aren't regulars. There are plenty of other wonderful local places that let you eat in the restaurant when you buy food. read more
