By far my favorite place to get my coffee fix! Extra boba please.. I love everything about this place. Atmosphere is chill which is nice for me cause I have major anxiety. The people that work here are super nice and friendly. They make my blended espresso shake perfectly! I live Kunia but I will drive from anywhere to get me my shake. Finally, finally, finally!!! A boba place that's nearby my area! So location is great for me. It's conveniently in Waipio, near Costco area, placed in the new building they just built. For drinks though, it's a hit or miss. Taste is there, but the boba is on and off. Some days it's great, some is like woah, you kinna overcooked it huh to days where they run out! (A total no no!) But they just started a couple of months ago, so I'll give them some time to really get there. But all in all, it's a convenient stop for me so 4-stars it is! read more

This place just open up in the new building in waipio, right across from the PHFCU bank and 7/11. It's actually right around the corner from where I work and was excited to try it since so many others at my job have been multiple times. They have a huge selection like most other bubble tea places. They also have coffee and espresso choices which is great if the Starbucks down the road is crowded. They do have some food snack choices. I tried the milk tea with regular boba. It was good! A friend tried the passionfruit tea which was really yummy too. I will definitely be going back to try all their different flavors! read more

Heard about this place from my sister. Von didnt hear anything about this place but he knew it existed. Did not taste like powder, way better than Taste tea. Laura had Irish creme milk tea with pearls. Von had taro milk tea with pearls. He thinks it tasted complex. It was great, would be coming back again. Great value here as well! Parking is ok. 4 stars because they do not take credit card - only cash. If they would take credit card they would have more business and larger orders. They say the rates are to high for the credit cards. Overall nice and clean space. The seating is my favorite part as they use wood chairs. Good menu options and their drip coffee was lovely. read more

After discovering Coffee or Tea in McCully shopping center, I was excited to know that they opened another location in Waipio! Compared to the other boba places in Mililani and Pearl City, this is the only place I can find good quality milk tea or boba smoothies. Coffee or Tea's milk teas have a better quality tea flavor and aren't watery or stale. Their puddings are also great because it almost has more of a custard texture and doesn't breakdown in the beverage after a long period of time. I'm a boba snob, but the boba here is so good, its soft and chewy. It's one of my two favorite locations to go for boba tea on the island. I like that it has just the right amount of sweet, not just in the boba but with all their drinks, it's never too over powering with sweet. My daughter always gets the strawberry boba tea. The husband likes the green tea smoothie with extra boba and I always get the Jasmine green tea with boba. Most of the drinks come in three sizes - small, medium, large, and yes you can pay for extra boba. I think it was 60 cents, but not too sure. The location is very convenient too, just about two minutes off the H2 , Ka Uka exit. We do our grocery shopping at Costco in Waipio and than stop at Coffee or Tea to get our boba fix. read more

My family and I came in here and we ordered 2 milk teas and 2 smoothies. After waiting 20 minutes, we finally got our drinks. But, every single person who ordered their drinks AFTER us (approx. 5 parties) got their drinks before us. We asked the workers why the drinks were taking so long and the worker answered with "milk teas are easier to make." But why would you put the difficulty of a drink over a customer? They could of at least gave us our 2 milk teas (since those are easier to make) instead of making my whole family wait 20 minutes! We would see party after party leave even though they came after us. Terrible customer service for putting "easier drink" party before the waiting party because of their "easier drink order." It was so frustrating to see this. A customer should always come first! Workers do not know how to prioritize. Customers should be served by who comes in first, not on how easy a drink can be made!! Went to Costco and happily spotted a Coffee or Tea nearby. Ordered my favorite #2 shave ice dessert and was disappointed in the small size. This shop makes a #2 at least 1/3 smaller than the #2 offered at the McCully shop. The staff here is not as friendly as the McCully staff too. This location is fairly new, and I'm very glad that they opened one here in waipio. My favorite drink to get is the azuki bean smoothie with boba, grande or jumbo size. The staff is usually the same when I go. One of them remembers my order and just confirming the size. Very prompt, polite service. Always very clean. Today was my second time there. So stoked that Waipio scored a Boba drink shop! Located in the new building that came up on Ka Uka and the only business open there.. for now! I got the Taro smoothie with bobs, daughter got the strawberry smoothie (no boba) and got the hubs a chocolate shake (no boba). When I got my order all drinks had boba! Pointed it out to them and they were very apologetic. Wasn't a big deal, my family can scoop out the boba if they don't want it! Scored...I guess...lol. They ended up enjoying it with the boba. Today, I wanted to try the Winter melon milk tea, with boba, ofc, very refreshing and perfectly made...and the chocolate shake for the hubs. They offered me the gold boba...accepted! Yummy! The hazlenut milk tea with boba and thai smoothie with boba are my faves! The boba is very soft and chewy unlike other places I've been to where its dry and too firm to chew! I really like the design of this place. They have lots of choice of the drinks. My favorite is honey ice green tea and preferred half sweetness. It taste so refreshing. Also the watermelon juice is very delicious but it's only in summer season. Their shaved ice is very traditional Taiwanese style. Lots of topping choice and the No.1is the best with azuki bean and green tea ice cream. And it's a good place to study because they do provide free WIFI. read more

I love this place so much. Hands down, one of the best milk tea boba places on the island. Unlike most places, their bubbles are the best; nice and soft. Their milk tea is of the right consistency and sweetness. The only down part about this place is that they don't take card. Many times, I was about to go here but realized I don't have cash. I was sad because I wanted to like this place especially since it's close to CORP, but both times I went the tea was super bitter. I do like my tea sweeter than most people but even with 100% sweetness the was super bitter and off-tasting. The boba was good but it wasn't sweet enough to compliment the bitter tea. Very poor service no personality plus the Milk tea very watered taste. I was very excited that we had a place like this being that they are mostly located in the Honolulu area. I will not be back and most definitely not recommend this place to others. Seems like the workers do not want to be there and the only one working hard is the older gentlemen I am not sure if those are there kids. What they have to realize is that it takes a lot to open a food establishment and if they continue that type of service then there business will fail. I really enjoy the one that is in town and the products are really good and yummy and the service is very good. Just hope that the Waipio one changes. read more
