Came here for the taro milk tea w/boba, the taste wasn't bad.. I was kinda turned off when I saw that the milk tea was already premixed and sitting in a pitcher in the fridge. Most places I've been to mix it fresh/blend upon ordering. My overview on the place proceeded to go downhill when I later had an upset stomach. Pretty safe to say I won't be coming back here especially if all their milk tea is premade. read more

One of my kids favorite place to have refreshing drinks. One day my wife and I went to get a shake and then picked up the kids from school. My youngest saw the empty cups and nag the whole time till we got them drinks. This place knows how to make shakes. read more

My favorite place for milk tea. Coconut and taro milk tea are my favorites. My daughter loves the watermelon smoothie when they have it. Used to go to the pearl Kai location but now they're in waipio on my way home. Always friendly and efficient. If you want a good drink, you'll find it here. However, if you want a positive service experience, you won't. The young adults who make the drinks are typically friendly, but the elderly man who you actually have to interact with at the register is impatient if you have any questions and easily inconvenienced by any change you want to make to something you order. It was my first time here and the only good thing I can say is how clean it was but that's to be expected as they just opened. So here's my gripe. The staff wasn't as friendly and I felt like I was more than a sale than a customer. To some that may not be important but my many years with the service industry whether it's clothing retail or food and beverage the customer service needs to be on point especially if you are wanting customers to return. Also while observing the girl making my taro shake she mistakenly used a plastic stick to push down the shake to make it blend more while the blender was blending which common sense is to turn off blender then push down or your tool will be shredded by the blades. Well that wasn't the case and surprisingly she still served me the shake and I should've requested for a new drink but was too in a hurry. As expected when I got home I found black shaving pieces off the plastic she shredded while blending my drink. Also the taro coconut milk tea that I asked to make didn't quite taste like either flavor and tasted more like regular milk tea. I doubt I'll be rushing back to this place any time soon but if I do I will re-review assuming they do a complete 360 of my first experience today. Sadly to say I was disappointed and unsatisfied. By far my favorite place for Milk Tea. I've been visiting Coffee or Tea McCully then Pearl Kai for years so I decided to visit this location near my work. The shop is easy to find, parking is limited but we didn't have issues - seems like most people there are in and out so parking probably won't be an issue. This location is probably the biggest of the 3 but the layout is the same. Table on one side when you enter, registers on the other. The lavender milk tea barely tasted like lavender. The drink was also on the sweeter side and I felt it was a bit grainy as if the powder wasn't dissolved that good (I didn't see them make the drink so I don't know if they use powder in the drink). The tea drink may have been better if it wasn't so sweet. The boba is also on the sweeter side. I prefer tea places where you can select the sweetness so that you can taste the tea or other flavors, such as lavender. The staff was friendly and location was clean. If I'm in the area again, I may stop by and ask if they can put less sugar and try a different tea drink. read more

Yet another boba place! Nowadays everywhere you go you're bound to see some place that sells boba. This establishment is in an area that doesn't have much parking. When I entered the parking lot all of the stalls were taken so I had to wait until someone came out and left so I could take their stall. It took maybe 5 minutes or so, not too long! Outside of their store they have a menu l on their window so you can look at what you want to get before even entering the store-- definitely takes the pressure off so that none of the workers just stare at you while you read the menu. I stuck with my usual this time, wintermelon milk tea with boba. One thing different about this place is that they don't offer you options to adjust he sweetness, so if you don't like sweet drinks this might not be the place for you. When I looked at the menu there was only one price listed as if there was only one size drink. Instead when I ordered I was asked the question of what size I wanted to order and this was confusing as there was only one price and size listed on the menu? The worker told me that there was two other sizes as well. The price listed on the menu was for the smallest size and the next one was an entire dollar more!! Kind of ridiculous if you ask me I mean the cups are basically the same size! And there's also a super jumbo cup but that one was way too big and an even bigger price difference so I didn't even bother looking at it. The only nice thing I enjoyed was that there was one topping that was already added into the price so you didn't have to pay an additional $0.50 to add boba into it, you could choose to have that one added. The amount of boba given wasn't all that much. When I saw the worker scoop it, it was less than one scoop. I'm so glad that they opened a Coffee of Tea here! It is one of my favorite places for milk tea. The boba here is always the perfect consistency. The milk tea here is quite strong on the caffeine in my opinion. Just a warning for those sensitive to caffeine. Service is always very quick. Can't wait to be back! read more

The smoothies are great ! My review is towards the atmosphere of the place and the pricing! They have nice music playing, but the noise from the blenders are so annoying and can barely hear the cashier. I also thought we were suppose to get 10% discount for checking in because after doing the math, it didn't add up, so check your receipts. Again, the smoothies were great! I love milk tea especially from this place. I always go to Pearl Kai for my fix but now, I no longer have to. They are very friendly to customers and in good spirits. Transaction only takes a few minutes, depending on what you order and parking ng is not an issue as there are just several businesses open within the area. Tried the shave ice today. First time patron. Really good, very refreshing shave ice. Coffee jello, custard, condensed milk made for a tasty blend. My son and I shared one. First day in Hawaii (previous resident of Hawaii) and my daughter begged for shaved ice at 730p. Our usual place Mountain Magic Shave Ice at Waikele closes at 6p. Went onto Yelp to find an alternative place and decided to check this place out since it was near Costco. This review is for shave ice only. We did not try any of their beverages. Shave ice is $6.00!! When I asked how big the serving size was, the lady showed me a fairly large bowl so we decided to share one (husband, toddler daughter, my 3rd grader and myself). When we got it, I was surprised at how small the serving was. They poured a good amount if syrup over what looked like a 2 cups of shaved ice. The syrup was very sweet. The vanilla ice cream was good. PROS: lots of parking, clean. BTW they only accept CASH. read more

Didn't expect much except a decent quick drink. The people are super friendly and the atmosphere was chill. Got the smallest size matcha latte milk tea with boba. I drank the entire drink and felt a little queasy immediately after I finished and about 30 minutes later I threw it all up. Pretty sure it was the drink because I felt completely fine before I drank the boba drink. My boyfriend got the mango smoothie and felt a little sick as well. So happy they have a location closer to the west side that doesn't involve going through construction and bumpy roads. Their milk teas are sooooo good. I love their signature, taro, caramel, irish cream and hazelnut milk teas. I've had their iced Thai coffee and it was ok. I think I'll stick to tea here and keep getting my coffee from Starbucks. There is also a Taste Tea food truck now in Waikele and probably the only competition in the vicinity regarding milk tea. I just really hate that Taste Tea location because I start smelling like lechon from the truck right next to it. Coffee or Tea is in a way better location for me and tastes a lot better. read more

Pretty sure the man who made my latte used old/burned coffee to make my latte. It tasted horrible. Had to throw away after a few sips.

The Thai tea in this place is so good. That's one of my favorite drinks here. Also I love their shave ice with custard, tea jello, coffee jello and ice cream. The staffs are very nice and they do the drink very efficiency. They do have free WIFI here. read more

Ordered taro milk tea with low sugar came out so bad... had to throw it out.... tasted like skommed milk mixed with water and a tinch of taro powder. I always drink taro milk tea low sugar from tea home or tea time tawiwan....those tastes so much better. And they don't cash so won't recommend this place! read more

Good drinks, but way overpriced. You can't get any work done and can't even talk on the phone because the blender is always running and the music is blaring.
