When I pulled in there was one car already there being handed the pay kiosk device. So I would assume two or three minutes at most but I sat there for about five before thinking "I should take some pictures for Yelp!" And so I did, then a minute or so later they left and I pulled up. They asked me to wait and then came back over seconds later to take my order. There were two women inside, both sides open for cars. So I still was confused as to why the first one took so long. There wasn't anyone there when I pulled up so I assumed it was closed or I would have gone over. They took my order, were extremely kind and friendly/conversational. Cost wasn't anything out of the ordinary, but the tipping was weird. They hand you the kiosk for a tip, and the first button was 30%... I have never seen that be an option before. And then it was 20% and 18% I think... regardless I remember that the 30 threw me for a loop. It took about five minutes from payment to them taking the kiosk back and giving me my drink... Also, I know some places don't have straws with wrappers but they'll put the straw in and then hand me my drink. The woman helping me literally walked to the window, fingers on the tip of the straw and handed me the drink after putting it in. I'm awkward and wouldn't ever say anything but I thought that was disgusting. Egg bites were like mushy and tasted like burnt cheese, though they looked normal so it's how they're made. And the caramel slush was chemical tasting? No coffee flavor and no caramel flavor. I won't be back, I'll stick to my usual spot.

I changed my order last minute and not only was the girl super sweet I went with her recommended fuel and it was so so good!! Also got to the window and the sweetest girl gave me a compliment. Meant so much!! The reviews about workers being pushy or inappropriate are so out of touch and I think miss the whole point of great customer service! I worked and managed a coffee shop for about three years and can truly say I would be extremely pleased with my coworkers if they had the same vibe/energy! Great job guys!

I was also under the impression that a Create Your Own Blender didn't include espresso shots because that's what a manager had previously told me a few months ago. Today I found out it actually comes with two shots already, so I had paid for two extra shots that I didn't need. Then the drink order itself was wrong. My son received his small drink, but when they handed me my drink, it had caramel drizzle on top. I explained that my Campfire Blender comes with chocolate drizzle, not caramel, and that it looked like I had been given the wrong drink or the wrong size. Instead of listening, an employee in the back argued with me, insisting it was the correct drink. At that point, I was frustrated and simply asked for a refund. Instead of processing it, the employee continued arguing about the drinks. I repeatedly said, "I just want my money back," but it felt like no one was listening. During the entire interaction, the male employee kept responding with "mmhmm," "yeah," and "okay" while I was speaking, which came across as dismissive and made it feel like he was not actually listening to what I was saying. After several minutes, I was handed a refund receipt for only $5.70, even though I was owed $12.40. When I questioned it, I was told they couldn't print another receipt. They printed another slip showing the same amount, and I still wasn't given the full refund I was owed. It was incredibly frustrating and made me feel like my concerns didn't matter. On top of that, I feel the employees working that morning should either go through additional training or be reconsidered for their positions, because they were not friendly and did not handle the situation professionally. At one point, we were even told not to get upset. I'm sorry, but anyone would get upset when they are not being properly refunded after repeatedly asking for it. Customer service is about listening to your customers and resolving issues professionally, not arguing with them or dismissing them. This entire experience was stressful, unnecessary, and left me feeling completely disappointed. This is now the second bad experience I've had at this location, and it's enough for me to take my business elsewhere. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this location to others based on the poor customer service and how this situation was handled.

I saw that there was a coffee roaster called Capitol Press Coffee near where I was staying in my…read morehotel. Looking at their website, there were a couple of coffee beans that I wanted to try. So I navigated there and was a bit confused by the store location. The coffee shop is situated in a industrial business park, though I quickly figured out that they had storefronts too. I found the spot and walked in. I was greeted by Carey, who introduced herself as the owner of Roasted By Mom Coffee. That's when I learned that this space had 3 independent coffee roasters who share the same equipment and store to sell to customers. And the day I went, Carey was there to serve her coffee beans. So I ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte and a black coffee. She didn't have any drip coffee readily available, but she went out of her way to get fresh beans she allowed me to choose to grind and brew a fresh cup for me. Wonderful customer service! I didn't have to wait long for my drinks to be finished. P2 said she enjoyed hers and I thought mine wasn't too bad. The beans I chose, Mom Goes Nutty, has hints of peanut butter, which I could taste in my cup. It was a different experience for sure. Overall, I thought I had a 5-star experience, though the coffee I tried wasn't what I would normally drink.
