Although I'm not the biggest fan of the donut texture (they resemble more of a butter mochi texture in my opinion), they do have some delicious flavors. I saw their Halloween specialty mochi donuts and decided we had to come here for Oregon trip. When we arrived, we were greeted by an employee (who seemed to be the only one working) and he was professional as he told us what specials they had. This was a quick dessert stop right next to other restaurants. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and it was our first time getting some donuts here. We chose a blueberry pancake, which was kind of too sweet for me. And the black sesame was really good, but I prefer without the jam. Overall, the texture is very good with the mochi stretch. I'd give it a 3.5. It was my first time going and heard that they had lots of different flavors as they rotate. It wasn't very busy in fact I was the only one haha but I went with my friend and I tried the black sesame with jelly or jam on top. The texture of the mochi donut was very chewy, especially they warmed it up it had a nice consistency. The black sesame was not strong enough. It was too sweet. I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I like these donuts. I wasn't sure what to expect regarding the texture or flavor and because I'm super picky about textures, I didn't have high expectations. Donuts shouldn't be too cakey or too doughy etc, (for my liking) and with them being mochi donuts, I was worried they might be too gooey or sticky or whatever. But I'm happy to say that the texture of these is just right. Of the ones we tried, the horchata is our favorite. Perfectly balanced flavor and not too sweet. delicious! they are baked, just an fyi. We were really impressed with the flavor and texture. These were great in every way. We tried 6 of them, both filled in the center and the standard ones. Usually I'm not really a fan of filled donuts but these really had delicious flavor. They were not too sweet like the standard american donuts, and less heavy since they were not fried. My only suggestion would be, it would be nice if some flavors and colors were the whole donut not just the glaze on top. We will be back. I was so happy to see them open a brick and mortar shop in the nice West End apartment complex. These gluten free and dairy free donuts are crowd pleasers and the best part is they come with unique flavors with a chewy mochi texture (the best kind of chewy) and are actually delicious! Okay I have opinions about this place but hear me out.. FIRST the donuts are amazing and that's the most important thing so definitely give them a visit. But the place is tricky to find or identify I wish the signage was a little bigger and clearer, maybe some A-frame signs too. The vibe inside has potential I just wish the space was utilized a little better, maybe a kids area or more cozy seating or plants and more on the walls. The biggest ask I have is more to offer in forms of hot/iced drinks! Boba, smoothies, espresso, matcha- any of these I think would bump up business big time. Ordered a September sampler box on WhatsGood for it to be delivered to the South Waterfront Farmer's Market. The total order was $16.05 ($15 for the box and $1.05 service fee) and pickup was a breeze. The September sampler box included Pandan w/ Matcha, Ube w/ Li Hing, Calamansi, Passion Fruit Orange Guava, Rose Milk Tea, and Black Sesame. Upon opening the box, I taken aback that the donuts were small for the price of ~$2.66 each. Each donut takes around 3 bites to finish. What it lacks in portion, it makes up in flavor. Each donut is dense and has a decent concentrate of flavor. After biting into one, I was expecting a sticky gooey texture, much like regular mochi balls or mochi ice cream. But the mochiko flour makes it dense with small little honeycomb-like patterns in the donut. My favorites were the Rose Milk Tea, Pandan, and Ube mochi donuts. The Rose Milk Tea had a subtlety of sweetness from the donut and creamy rose flavor from the glaze. The Pandan also had a delicious glaze with subtle matcha flavor from the donut. The Ube was sweet, which resembles a coconut-like flavor. Sampler boxes are great to eat and try out different flavors, but because of the size of each donut you may not want to share them. read more

I wish they had a store instead of having to order through the What's Good app. I was hoping to order a whole dozen of the rose milk tea mochi donuts, but unfortunately they only do the monthly variety box when you order for pick-up at the South Waterfront Farmers Market. For the July variety box, we got: Peach Bellini, Taro Coconut, Midor Sour, Strawberry Sencha, Watermelon Yuzu, and the Lapsang Souchong. Everything was very flavorful, but the best one was the Peach Bellini because the flavor was so recognizable! The Midor Sour and Watermelon Yuzu were the most unique. The mochi texture was very chewy and I liked that they were shaped like regular donuts instead of the typical mochi ball rings! These donuts weren't too sweet, so it was so easy to eat them all in one sitting between 4 of us. My only complaint was that the frosting doesn't cling to the donut very well, so when you take a bite, the frosting cracks a lot! read more

I am always on the hunt for gluten-free places, so when my friemd recommended this place, my sweet tooth demanded that I check it out. I ordered one passion fruit curd and one chocolate donut! I love passion fruit and the tangy flavor came through in the curd. The chocolate one was also delicious. The gentleman who helped me, presumably the owner, was friendly and courteous.
