One of my favorite local stops on the island ! Cute little local shop for coffee with pastry and small breakfast and lunch options . Try the blended rush Java chip for a treat. Make sure you check the hours before you go ( closed Sunday ) but you're in for some great coffee if you visit .

I got to try their Thai Iced Coffee that customers have really talked about loving and it was worth the hype! Staff were super friendly and the coffee was the perfect amount of sweetness for me. They have a perfect ambiance for a coffee shop with an outdoor dining area to enjoy Lāna'i's outdoor scenery/nature. - Miguel Morales Photography

Going to Lāna'i, it is a staple to stop by at Coffee Works. The service here is always great! The workers are usually friendly and quick. The Thai iced coffee always hits the spot, idk what they do but it does.

On my second visit to Lana'i, this was my first visit to Coffee Works and it was awesome and lovely overall! Had their cold brew coffee and one of their apple turnovers and the service is great overall. Love supporting local businesses. Not too crowded either. You can dine-in on their nice large outdoor deck patio or have it to-go. Yes, prices are relatively expensive, but this is Lana'i.

Located in the heart of the city is Coffee works you will see a lot of locals and some tourist because this place is known for their great coffee and pastries! Mask are required when you get there and if not you are not allowed at the window counter to place your order. Parking is along side of the roadway and normally it is not that busy except on weekends. Across of they have Dole park which you also can walk to and enjoy your breakfast, they have bench's and seating areas in the park.

When trying to look for a cup of Joe on a remote island like Lanai...........don't bother to look for a Starbucks, Seattle's Best, Philz, Lion Coffee, McDonald's Mac-Cafe, or whatever coffee that maybe. Finding a coffee shop in Lanai City is a God send, and that's where I ran into this cute little coffee shop called - "Coffee Works". When going to Lanai, sad to say that there ain't too many food or drink places in this small little town. I needed a little afternoon "pick me up" and that's how I ended up here at the Coffee Works for a strong cup of Joe. Upon entering this cute little coffee shop, I noticed this coffee shop also served some baked goods like cookies, donuts & muffins, food items like chili hot dog rice bowl, bagels, acai bowls, ice cream, smoothies, teas, as well as coffee drinks. There is no inside seating at this coffee shop, as the coffee shop is rather small. Worried about seating? No need to fret gang, as they do have a very large partially covered deck, where you can sit & enjoy your cup of Joe. After looking over the wall menu, I asked the clerk for a dark coffee, and she suggested a Americano. Cool, so that's what I ended up getting............ a Medium Americano. While the girl was making my Americano, I also looked at some baked items & asked the girl if the baked items were locally made here, she said "no". After looking closer at the baked items like the muffin, it kinda reminded me of the Costco muffins, so I decided to pass on the baked goods, and stuck with just the coffee. What can I say about the coffee? The coffee was very good! My cup of Joe had a nice rich & bold flavor, just the perfect drink to pick you up after a early morning start! So glad I found this little coffee shop, should I ever have to be back in Lanai City for work, I'm sure I'll stop by again for another cup of Joe!

thankful for this coffee shop on lanai island. quick and prompt service. i ordered a quad iced latte and a thai iced coffee no ice. both are flavorful in its own way and enough to keep you full of energy all day. plenty of seating outside with big patio area.

The service was not great. The person working the counter was extremely rude. I would not come here again.

Such a cute coffee cabin, nice ambience. So good that she needed to stay, enjoy her ice vanilla chai tea and read her book while we waited patiently

Decided this morning to check this place out because there really is only so much you can do here on lanai. The service was fine/friendly but the price was kind of up there.. paid about 16 for two drinks.. an espresso shake and iced mocha.. the espresso shake was good and the iced mocha I wasn't a big fan of. For the price I feel like I should have enjoyed it a little more lol but I will be back again for a 2nd and 3rd try :)

Good coffee but I was disappointed because my chocolate croissant was cold. They heated it up for me but then it became oily. I'd definitely go back for their coffee!!!

    Nice lanai seating outside

This is just personal preference, I don't like blended açaí because it melts quickly. The lilikoi butter is a fun idea, but I don't think it blended will with the bowl itself, it was bitter. My friend got the Cali style breakfast burrito and it was a small wrap and hardly "Cali" style at all. It was just giving breakfast burrito. The salsa was giving it came from a jar We also got an unsweetened matcha, if you have high expectations for matcha, I'd skip n go elsewhere. I was surprised at how dense and burnt the everything bagel was compared to the soft fluffy egg bagel. I am glad we didn't get too many of those everything bagels because the burnt edges really threw off the rest of the sandwiches and weren't as enjoyable to eat. The inside is spacious but not so many seats. The parking lot has very narrow stalls and is narrow for navigating with a car coming the opposite way. Instant good vibes, the whole line outside was just smiling and waiting patiently. Finally get seated and both the hostess and waitress were super nice--real friendly, no rush, no attitude. In the front they had mushroom soup on the specials board, so we figured we go sample um. I had them bring a cup of soup out to start along with my wife's coffee. Gotta be honest--when I dipped my spoon in, I was already judging. Looked kinda thin, not creamy like other mushroom soups I've had. I was thinking, "Ahh here we go." Took one spoonful and immediately had to humble myself. That soup was money. Like, stop-talking-and-just-eat. My wife tried it and confirmed that this soup was "winnahs" . Deep mushroom flavor with the right amount of seasoning. It also came with a little piece of focaccia toast which I would have really enjoyed but had to take my wife's word for it since she ate um all . Should've ordered the bowl. Rookie mistake. For my main, I went with the original eggs Benedict. Portions were a little on the small side, but with the roasted potatoes, I was good. Didn't leave hungry, didn't need to loosen the belt--perfect middle ground. My wife got the strawberry waffles and yeah... those were legit. She's not a syrup person, so she asked for more whipped cream. The waitress comes back with a little mountain of whipped cream in the little silver ramekin. All in all, solid spot. Friendly people, ono food, and little touches that make you feel taken care of. We will be heading to Cafe Kaila again to try some other stuff like the "chicken and waffles", and next time, I'm not playing around with the soup. Bowl, Garans.
