Spacious, friendly service and delicious food. Stopped by a few weekends ago for a quick lunch bite before errands. I ordered the breakfast burrito and a lemonade, both absolutely (and surprisingly) delicious. The space itself is very large with a decent amount of parking in the vicinity, along with some outdoor seating. It's usually pretty crowded, lots of students camping out with laptops, so you may need to go at slightly off times to find a seat (we were there around 1pm on a Saturday). Just the absolute best coffee shop - great great drinks and I always stay to order the lunch. They make the healthiest, and tastiest lunches. I love coming here after work. They have the best coffee and the best pastries. They also have a good selection of food if you're hungry for more than a pastry! I loved their seasonal latte. I will be coming back and ordering that again. There's seats and tables for you to sit and study if you need a free Wi-Fi so that helps a lot when I have a lot of homework to do. Coffeebar is great for working but it gets packed here (even on the weekdays) so it's pretty hard to find a table most days. They have a free private lot right next to the location. It is also spacious, not cramped like those Funky Philz, Hyper like the Green MermaidBux, more like a bigger Peets. Lots of tables, booths even, seating, , large picture windows, chill vibe. The coffee is ok, the service seems like it is a little slow and random, like Google Intern dropouts making do till their next gig in Techland, certainly not up Sandhill road for VC money. I liked it, mostly for the First Class vibe. The prices are First Class, too. Perhaps a dollar more for comparable Coach class service at Green MermaidBux. You can't compare it to Funky Philz, unless Tom Cruise is your Joe Mixologist, high-pouring Java through a slow pour filter, for an Arabica Bean creation with a random Philzophical name. Coffeebar is one of my go-to spots for studying! This location has a large parking lot and lots of seats inside, though on weekends it's sure to be full. There are also outlets along the walls! I've tried a few drinks from here, including americanos, lattes, and a seasonal drink-- their Autumn Fog Latte. I've also tried their smoked salmon cream cheese sandwich. While the drinks and food are really good, they are all very expensive. However, you're paying for the high quality and great ambience. My first impression of Coffeebar was amazing and this will continue to be a go-to spot for me, but as I've spent spent more time here, I've noticed a few things that make this a 4/5 instead of 5/5 place. However, the Chicken Bacon Avocado sandwich was warm and delicious. It did take a while to receive our food at our table, probably because they're so busy. - It takes hours for employees to actually clear or wipe down tables. Most of the time a new customer just wipes down a table and puts dishes from previous guests away themselves before sitting down - Because this place is so popular, there's usually a pretty long line to order (~10 minute wait) and it can get pretty loud because lots of families with children will come here too - There could be a few more outlets around the edges of the restaurant, but the fast wifi and existence of some outlets already is great Overall I'd say that this place is an awesome work spot / coffee shop if you like working in busy places with noise-cancelling headphones for a change of pace. We were trying to find something to drink after brunch and my friend found this place on Yelp! The interior was so cute and there were a lot of people studying.     I got a matcha latte with oat milk and it was so good!!! They also had small bites like avocado toast and pastries. I thought it was cool how the menu sign changed letters. Ok so ive ordered coffee twice online to avoid having to wait for it forever and on both occasions.. it took longer than 15 minutes!!! Their website gives a 15 min window and says it will be ready in 15 minutes but both times it took between 23-25 minutes which is *outrageous* when you are trying to get to work. And sure: both times they were busy, it was 10 am, BuT people that were physically in line got their coffee before online orders from 20 min prior.. so there is definitely a lack of organization and it's off putting.. It's a large coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating - high tops, long tables, a few booths and a small bar area. Lots of natural light. Service is great - the staff is welcoming and super nice! The tables and chairs could be cleaner though. Guessing they're not clean because as soon as someone gets up to leave, someone else scoops up the spot. This place is walking steps from my office so I go here at least once a month for coffee. I love their ambiance because its pretentious enough but not overwhelming. Great place to meet a friend or sit and work (but there is music - not too loud but still pretty audible if you are looking for a quiet place for meetings or want to focus). Their coffee is nice but I have to say that it is pretty expensive for the size of their cups. An 8 oz oat milk latte comes out to be around $7 + tax and tips. So this is a splurge place for me and I only go here once in a while. The service is decent. I found some baristas to be warm and welcoming whereas some are straight face and uninterested in providing a service. For food they do have a nice menu with sandwiches, toasts and some breakfast items. They have pastries as well but I really really wish that they have some egg-free or vegan options in there. Great place to grab coffee with friends! Lots of seating and welcoming atmosphere. I got an iced vanilla latte (my goto safety drink) and it was $7.38 w/ tax/fees. The drink was decent, but I don't think it was worth the price for a grab&go. I do think if you're planning to spend some time in the cafe, then definitely a solid choice! I did like the overall vibe and aesthetic, so would come back for a work day if I am in the area. Service is relatively quick. This is my third coffee experience here and as much as I hate to reduce myself to the cliche of being someone who waits to complain to review, it seems that this is where we're at. First two coffees were very impressive. They were made by some Viking looking bloke. The oat milk was silky smooth and not too hot. As any barista worth their salt knows, these two qualities are directly related. Too hot blows the silky foam bubbles into large uncreamy bubble bath bubbles. This morning my coffee was pretty good. I like the espresso here enough. However, if that Viking looking bloke could maybe train the other baristas to use just st the right amount of milk so that the milk in the pitcher isn't overworked, and to spin and cream the milk to maybe 4-5° f degrees cooler, that would probably help with consistency. Came here for getting some work done on a Tuesday morning. The place was packed by mid-morning, and I was able to find a seat on one of the long tables. Loved the natural lighting and fast Internet. There are many outlets along the windows, as well as the booths in the alcove. It very much is a place with a work-from-the-coffee-shop energy, at least on the weekday I was there. The weekend might be better for more relaxing cafe vibes. The minus one-star review is for the quality of the coffee. I got a regular latte and it was just very milky - not a strong espresso flavor that I usually expect from other coffee shops. I was also confused why my order came after other customers' larger (multiple coffee) orders despite ordering ahead of them .. not a huge deal though. I guess if you need to study or hang out with friends it has a good ambiance for that! There's also a merch wall! Service was also good. Staff was very nice. I got the avocado toast and paid extra for egg and bacon. I thought the avocado toast part was ok. The toast wasn't particularly crispy (more on the wetter side). My friend got the same thing (with egg but no bacon) and she thought it was very bland. I actually thought mine was actually somewhat too salty because of how much salt they put on my egg. I guess it was not consistent. Piece of bacon was okay. My husband got the chorizo breakfast burrito. But it was more like a panini and on the smaller side. He also thought the food was bland even with the sauces. My friend's husband got the same thing and he had the same comments too about how bland it was. I also tried the mocha. It was supposed to be 8 ounces. I feel like the cup they gave seemed a lot smaller (more like 4-6oz), not to mention the ridiculously small handle on the cup haha. It was okay, also not that flavorful. Also since it was in a cup it doesn't stay hot for long outside! I wish I had gotten a paper cup actually, I didn't realize. The scones were just okay too. I thought the Vanilla bean was decent, lots of sugar granules on the outside. But I was let down by the chocolate croissant. They had a thin layer of chocolate at the bottom of the croissant. Needed an afternoon pick me up after a day of shopping and decided to stop by this place to grab some matcha. It was my first time here and I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and asked the barista to add simple syrup as well. Honestly it was a pretty solid matcha latte I loved the flavor and it didn't taste watery like a lot of other matcha lattes I've had! Only thing is that it is on the pricier side but that's expected for a coffee shop in Menlo Park. There's a ton of seating and it looked like a lot of people were working/studying there too. Hmm... Coffeebar is one of those places I want to rate: 5 stars for ambiance 3 stars for drinks 1 star for value :x Don't get me wrong, I love their concept of a swanky coffee shop. The aesthetics are - c l a s s y a f - The wood panels remind me of Starbucks Reserves. It's great for working, with nice seating, a few outlets, and fast wifi. The huge windows allow for ample natural light, while the grey ceiling and spotlights create an illusion of sophisticated moodiness. The right side almost looks like a diner with booth and bar seating, while the left side has more of the standard coffee shop layout with communal and individual small tables. There's also several tables outside although I don't know if I consider it much of a patio, since it's right up against the parking lot. I ordered a 16oz mocha with default milk, and it was a whopping ~$7.50 after tax and tip. Damn, remember the days when a bowl of Chipotle was like $8? It was good, with decent cocoa flavor, a smooth velvety texture, and dainty latte art, but nonetheless difficult to justify the splurge. I also saw in other photos that sometimes the mocha was made with a cocoa powder garnish, which I didn't get (Felt like I wasn't getting my money's worth for the 'gram!) Notes: - They have quite an extensive menu, including various coffee and tea drinks, bakery items, breakfast, and lunch - Unfortunately, the pastries and bottled drinks in their display case don't list prices :| - Tap water is available, with fancy metal cups - Parking is available in the adjacent lot for a 2-hour time limit. Was trying to look for a new space to get some school work done and i love this place! They have a variety of high quality teas, coffees, and wines. There is a variety of seating arrangements from booth seats, regular tables, to outdoor seating. and my personal favorite is the bar like seating so i can stand while i do my school work... like a standing desk haha. Anyways, there's a bunch of cute merch and a great variety of breakfast, lunch, and pastries to choose from for a quick pick me up in the morning to a long work session. What i found so cool was the boards behind the cashier change like a slot machine. The staff here is so friendly, and they did a great job making me feel right at home. Lots of patience.
