Bergamot Teafee ($9.50) - glass cup is my own
    Sabrina J.

I went here on a Wednesday afternoon. It was quite crowded with a ton of people on their laptops. They have some laptops and free wi-fi that you have to sign into every hour. As the photos and videos show, it has a nice minimalist aesthetic inside. I got the Bergamot Teafee ($9.50). It was pretty good, I recommend Less or No Sweetness though. The baristas were nice, but one guy smelled like he had not showered in a while.

Yeah nah I went a couple more times, this place is really overhyped. After having tried at least 3 different drinks from here, I can safely assure you they all massively fell very short. Definitely not worth +$9.50, neither. I don't know what social media(s) it exactly popped off on, but it's not worth it. The drinks don't really differentiate themselves from any other chique coffee shop. We are blessed in the Bay Area to have so many nice coffee shops, if you named the top three in your area, chances are those 3 are MUCH better. A very nice minimalistic interior can only do so much for your coffee shop. Line takes forever to order quite simply the most basic drinks. Pourovers are close to $10. At least one of the baristas helping you with your order will tell you their Bergamot Teafee comes "less sweet" normally, and that it's sweet enough. He'll say "I have a sweet tooth and less sweet is sweet enough for me". Well, I don't know if bro still lost his tastebuds from possibly contracting COVID-19 at the height of the pandemic, but it really isn't. If you really had a sweet tooth, you wouldn't say less sweet is sweet enough. Go with regular sweet. There's never any available seating, everyone wants to do work out of here but you know they're just sitting there taking space people watching. I saw some dude sit there with his laptop just rearranging his Spotify playlist for over half an hour. I mean that's your prerogative but ain't no way you're telling me you're gonna be able to focus here lol

Mentaiko Egg sandwich - they charge an extra $5 for a drizzle of mentaiko if you don't get ham or bacon. Ridiculous.

The interior is the only genuinely nice thing about this place. The food, drinks, and service were all disappointing for the price. The drinks were fine but nothing notable. At $9.50 each, I'd expect better, and I'd go elsewhere next time. Service was slow and unwelcoming. We also ordered the mentaiko egg sandwich. When ordering, we were given a choice of mentaiko, bacon, or ham with no mention that mentaiko came with a $5 upcharge. It only showed up on the bill afterward. To make it worse, the sandwich only had a drizzle of mentaiko on top, with none inside. If you're going to charge extra for an option, at least be upfront about the price and leave the bacon/ham in the sandwich. I'm only giving 2 stars since the egg in the sandwich was pretty tasty, however, still not worth the price.

New coffee shop unlocked! The only thing that stuck with me is that the prices are hefty: $18 for two signature drinks. No adjustments were made. The menu is on their website or posted in front when you order. The interior is really nice, great for working or studying once the lines slowly die down. What we tried: - Bergamot Teafee ($9.50): The base is Earl Grey tea with whole milk. The cashier strongly recommended keeping it with whole milk. I tried changing it, but they said it tastes weird with oat milk. The taste was unique, fruity, and floral. - Yuzu Noir ($8.50): VERY strong on the first sip. I recommend mixing the drink or letting it water down a bit. At first, it tasted like just espresso, but after a while you can taste the yuzu extract. It's crisp and refreshing. This cafe would be perfect if they opened earlier since a lot of people could grab coffee and Costco gas before work.

Egg drop sando with bacon $14.50

4/5: The Egg drop sandwich with bacon $14.50 would be a 5/5 except that it has a sickly-sweet mayonnaise; the intense sweetness clashes with this savory sandwich. On-street parking is impossible; park across the street at the Costco parking lot. It looks like they cater to the apartment complex above.

-Clean, sleek look with nice employees -Super crowded at 12pm on a Tuesday -I only found outdoor seating, but that's most likely because it was a bit warm outside. 79 degrees going 92 - my drink came out in 3 minutes after ordering Order: -bergamot teafee $9.50 -iced, whole milk, less sweet -I honestly could have just left it at regular sweet since less sweet tasted like no sweet. -I don't think the earl grey flavor is all that strong so you definitely taste more latte than tea. -as a latte, it is okay. If you're expecting more earl grey? Try something else

Saw VOID all over my socials this week, so I wanted to check it out this weekend. Even in the late afternoon, there was a long queue (25-30 min wait). Located on the corner of the PRADO apartment complexes, it's very convenient for locals. Space inside is beautiful, and there was surprisingly plenty of seating and outlets (if you're looking for a place to work/study), and it's dog-friendly! They're still in the soft opening phase and seem to be fine-tuning workflows. We tried 2 of their specialty drinks (Bergamot Teafee & Yuzu Noir). Unfortunately, both fell a little flat for me :( The bergamot overpowered the earl grey, and the flavors didn't quite come together. The yuzu noir tasted pretty watered down. We wanted to try the sandwiches, but they were already sold out (which is a good sign!). Next time, I'll stick to something form the espresso bar (heard they use Verve beans yumm). Customer service was excellent though - super friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to coming back once everything settles in. Congrats on the opening!!

It's insane how quickly this location spread on social media that it had a line even on the first day of soft opening. We visited on the third day and all the seats were taken. We ordered the latte and Bergamot Teafee (earl grey with a shot of espresso and bergamot flavor). The latte was good and better than most places I've had. The Bergamot was tasty but as the ice melts, it gets watered down quickly. There are food items available that they don't have an official menu. Other drinks such as hojicha and matcha are not currently available but we are interested to come back to try!

I stopped by the newly opened 'Void' which is across from Costco. The cafe has welcoming, modern vibe with industrial aesthetics, grey walls, indoor plants that make the space more inviting. There are good number of tables to get some work done. The baristas were friendly and helpful answering lot of questions. Note: since they are in the soft opening phase, there are some hiccups, which are expected - for eg long lines to order, limited menu. They have a couple of interesting drinks- like Bergamot Teafee, which I ordered. I was hoping to have it hot, but for now all of their tea-based drinks are served iced. The barista also mentioned that it typically doesn't pair well with oat milk, but I decided to give it a try anyway--and I was pleasantly surprised. The drink was on expensive side, over $10! Although I wasn't blown away yet, I'm still hoping to be back to try their matcha (currently not available). And hope they can have tea lattes served hot pretty soon.

I can see this place being 5 stars later for me, so I will update at some point! For now, they are new and working out the kinks. When I went they didn't have a posted menu, but the cashier was super friendly and willing to explain what they had and also what was coming in the future. He explained they were working on some cool snacks like Japanese sandwiches and other specialty food items. Didn't seem like they would have full scale meals, but hearty snacks at least. We'll see! The most hype thing here is the Earl Grey tea latte which didn't disappoint. I got it iced with oat milk and light sweet. Light sweet was definitely the right call because it was still borderline a bit too sweet but really hit that craving for a dessert-type latte. Very good flavor. Would definitely recommend this drink. It is a bit pricey around $8. There is space to work, but the tables around the perimeter are a bit small--just big enough for your laptop basically. There are some communal tables to get work done as well. I wished there were some seats with cushioning so that if you wanted to spend some extra time here it would still feel comfortable. But they definitely did a great job on the aesthetic. It gives a cool industrial futuristic vibe. Parking is so limited that you're basically forced to park at the Costco parking lot across the street. Luckily it's a huge parking lot and closeby enough where it doesn't really make it too difficult. I'll be back to try this place again in a few months and see what's changed and update here!

Drip coffee (hot) and bergamot teafee (iced)
    Christina H.

This place is very modern inside with plenty of seating and tables for work/study or chatting with friends. I came on July 29, 2026 which is part of their soft opening. I do think there can be improvements with the drinks. Two of the drip coffees ordered were a little acidic. I think if there was some half and half or milk served with it, it would help mask that. Otherwise, the drip coffee without milk was quite disappointing. I also tried the bergamot teafee which comes iced. I think it might taste better without sugar or less sweet, because the default sugar is too sweet for me. It is a little pricey for the current flavor. If the espresso and sweetness flavor blended more smoothly, it would be a recommended drink. The cashier and workers seemed very busy, but the cashier was very kind and open to answering questions about the menu. I give them props for handling such a busy line, as there was always a 7+ people line the whole 1.5 hour we were there. Overall, drinks are 2.5/5, with plenty of room for improvement once they fix things from their soft opening.

The service was good and the ambiance was nice, but unfortunately the drink was disappointing. I ordered their specialty coffee drink, which was almost $10. I asked for less ice, but was told they couldn't adjust it. Despite that, the drink still tasted watery, and the coffee itself didn't taste particularly good. For a drink at nearly $10, I expected much better quality and flavor. Given the price and the quality of the drink, I wouldn't recommend it.

    Iced latte and hot latte
    Amy Y.

Newly opened coffee shop on the lower floor of the Prado apartments! I appreciate that there's tables for people to bring in their laptops on the inside, and smaller tables to catch up with a friend on the outside. I personally didn't order, so I can't speak on the service. I ordered a latte, and the coffee flavor was pretty prominent. It looks like they have inventive drinks as well, such as a dirty earl grey. I hope they'll change their hours to open earlier so I can swing by and grab a coffee to start my day. Overall, sleek vibe and a great addition to the area!

There's a larger communal table, and some counter seating. Parking can be difficult. There's a small area in the parking garage for "guest" parking. There is no parking on most of the surrounding streets, except for the small section of the road that curves underneath Lawrence. And that part is often full of parked cars. It can be frustrating and this parking situation will easily drive away customers to find somewhere else with easier parking. If you're fortunate enough to get parking, you will find that Coffeebar offers a decent coffee menu, baked goods, and some food if you need more than a snack. The people working behind the counter have all been very friendly and helpful. Their Chocolate Croissant is HUGE!!! They'll ask if you want it warmed up. Definitely do this. It is delicious slightly warmed up. I have tried their Iced Chai Latte, which was just OK. It lacked the spice I was expected from a chai, and felt a bit too milky. I prefer their Iced Caramel Latte, which is much better than the Chai. Next time I will try their Mocha.
