This is a family owned , long standing coffee shop in the historic Murphy Ave at Sunnyvale downtown. It serves specialty coffee , breakfast and lunch since 1988 . The vibe was cool and excellent service. It has tables and sofa and seats for you to enjoy your coffee or chat with friends . We ordered the Cafe Au Lait medium size with extra hot milk and the Irish coffee . The coffees were rich , smooth and flavorful. They also served breakfast burritos, breakfast scrambled and sandwiches. I love the interior decoration with historic items . There was only one restroom for both men and women but the line was short . If you go early , it would be easy to find parking in the free parking lot . You can also park at Stret parkings as well . A very good breakfast burrito comes with a delicious side salad and homemade chipotle. The croissant breakfast sandwich was also worthy. Iced cappuccino isn't too common, here it's quite good. We wanted some local coffee and matcha, found this place after a trip to Whole Foods and checking out the farmers market on Saturday. It was pretty bright inside with all the outdoor lighting coming in and lots of windows that were opened during today's good weather. I wanted something light to the stomach, the avocado hummus and egg toast is what I got and my wife went for a Lox bagel but they were out of bagel and they offered it with a croissant option if we were ok with that, which we agreed to try. I normally drink matcha in the afternoon so I got the matcha latte and my wife went for the iced toddy. We enjoyed the meal and drinks very much. We didn't park anywhere near here during Saturday since there was a farmers market running throughout morning till 1:00pm. We walked over from the Whole Foods parking lot and found plenty of extra parking nearby the coffee shop. When we finished our meal, there was a drop off bin to place your cups and plates inside. Before leaving, we took our turns at the bathroom to wash up before leaving, the only thing we could say about this place is that the bathroom was pretty dark with that one light bulb, it gives it character but it could use more light inside there. read more

Right across from the Caltrain station, this is the go to for commuters! Best place for bagels, avocado toast, and pastries before you head on the train. I've been here a handful of times to grab coffee or tea to go, have a breakfast or lunch meeting, and this place doesn't disappoint. Lots of options to choose from so can be slightly overwhelming. I recommend their avocado toast, quiche, bagel with egg and bacon; chai latte. I've been with others who've ordered a sandwich that comes with chips and/or salad. It's a cozy spot, and a perfect place to read a book, do some work, and meet with a friend. Staff is always so friendly and helpful. Local downtown spot that doesn't disappoint! This is the coffeehouse that somehow reminds me of attending an east coast liberal arts college that I never attended. It's great btw. Chill vibe inside, ginormous windows they open up all the way to the outside on nice days, assorted homey furniture. Oh right, they also serve coffee - and food. Really really good food, namely the breakfast sandwich which I highly recommend on a bagel, with cheddar cheese, avocado and sausage. Power tip: if you order it online use Clover instead of DoorDash. Clover lets you specify your backup bread choices as a "note" in case they run out of your first choice bread. DoorDash offers no such notes option any more. read more

I saw lots of reviews touting the quality of the coffee here and was interested to come try. I got an iced cappuccino (not something I see often on the menu) while my partner got the regular cappuccino. We both really liked our drinks: the espresso flavor is just right and blends delightfully with the milk! Pricing wise it's also very reasonable! Not often where you can get 2 medium sized drinks (that are actually quite large) for $8 or so total. Service was pretty quick! The line was pretty long but we only waited about 5 minutes for our drinks. There is a lot of seating inside, including a variety of sizes of tables and a variety of seating options (chairs, single arm chairs, couches). I'm a little sad I'm done with school/studying days and don't have the option to work from home, because this place would be great! read more

Omg this place is so good. I got the nutty Irish latte and the breakfast burrito. The reviews are right the breakfast burrito is AMAZING. The latte was also good, but was extremely sweet and this is coming from someone who likes their drinks extremely sweet. Overall this place was really good. The only thing to note is that the food took a really long time to get so keep that in mind if you are in a rush or a time crunch. The ambiance is really nice. A lot of people came here to read! The chicken pesto, on the other hand, was surprisingly good--even as someone who's not usually a fan of pesto, I really enjoyed it. Both meals came with a small side salad, but the dressing options were limited to just ranch and one other, which felt a bit restrictive. One thing to note: they don't offer paper menus. If you have poor vision like I do, you'll need to take a photo of the board and zoom in on your phone to read it. I've always walked by this place not realizing how much bigger it is on the inside. Came by on a weekend and was astonished that once you walk in it's a deep in kind of cafe. You're not greet with a cashier at the front but you have to walk in a little to place an order. Which allows you to fully immerse yourself in the space. I ended up grabbing a White Russian Mocha and my Girlfriend got a Caramel Latte. Both were good in their own ways and I feel like you taste the flavor stronger when you order it iced which is what we did. Really wish we had more time to sit down and eat because they actually had more than just coffee. (Hence the name) They also have outdoor seating to enjoy your drink if it was a nice sunny day. I went there on one of my stops after seeing the star rating on yelp . To my surprise it's so different in every aspect Food- really bad , not cooked properly, No taste, just presentation. I felt like puking Service- a couple of girls at the counter in their own world eating and chatting behind the counter and impolite Ambiance- maybe the pics in the reviews are far old. I usually like this place but was disappointed with my last order. I got the breakfast bagel which was what like $10? It was the smallest little bagel with zero flavor to it. I don't know if they forgot to season the eggs or what but it was so bland. It wasn't worth the money at all, I expect a filling meal for that money. I also paid $2 extra for the avocado, feels a bit like a rip off. You be the judge from the picture. Also the maple old fashioned donut had about 40% sugary glaze and 60% donut, just way too much glaze! it's unfortunate if the quality is headed downhill. I tried to like this place ! I came here around 3:30 on a Saturday because I wanted to try to finish some schoolwork, thinking I had at least an hour and a half to do so. However, a little before 4:00, one of the baristas went around telling everyone that they would be closing early that day (hours online said they would have closed at 5:00). So I wish they would have shared that on their doors or something. Also, I ordered some specialty drink which I hoped would taste sweeter, which it did, but the aftertaste was like rotten bananas and I sadly had to throw it away because it didn't seem like it would be safe to continue drinking. I like the vibes of this place though, it was easy to find a seat, and there is also ample natural lighting because of their many large windows. The first review of 2025. Yet another review of this café. There are many kinds of drinks both hot and cold. Only have had iced coffee (lattes, mocha, etc.). Only problem is that it is not cold at all. But great service though. Again the Wi-Fi is spotty. You're on one minute and not a few minutes later. I got a message that it was not working anymore. Had to give up. Perhaps my laptop is a few years old and therefore not new like the other customers. Only advantage is they have outlets. read more

Just note I am a coffee snob and reserve 5 stars only for the freshest best coffee. So this is good by my standards and maybe great for others standards. I have taken a friend here who really didn't like their coffee but every coffee I have had has been good. Service: good, they are always accommodating to requests and efficient. Ambiance: I like sitting outside with my pup. I have never brought him in but it seems like I can according to other reviews so I look forward to that next time. There is nothing fancy here, and you may have to wipe off your table, but the counter service is fast and friendly. Indoor or outdoor seating is available. We were seated out doors and the waiter brought our food to us. I was very pleased with my spinach/feta warm croissant and others with me were pleased with their bacon and egg croissant and salmon bagel. I was especially pleased that my meal was served on a china plate. The salads came in clear plastic containers which I was sorry to see. After your meal there is a place to return dishes and a place for discards. The area is very popular and so parking can be a challenge. So it's best not to be rushed. read more

Solid cafe in the heart of Downtown Sunnyvale. There is a large breakfast and lunch menu that is quite well-priced for the area (Where else can you find a $4.95 avocado toast, in this economy?). The only coffee place I could find in the Downtown Sunnyvale (except Philz Coffee but this is on the other street). The coffee is quite good, they have really good coffee machine. The prices vary depending on the size of your drink. It was busy on Saturday! This is a good place to meet with friends but I wouldn't recommend it for work. Although they have free secured Wi-Fi it was too loud for working and not comfy for sitting for a long time. The location has two entrances, one restroom and limited space inside. But there are a few tables outside as well. You can park at the nearest garage parking close by. read more

We got the iced latte, chicken pesto sandwich, and the breakfast burrito. My chicken pesto sandwich was great but the breakfast burrito was meh. What was concerning was these two items took forever!! I think we waited almost 20 minutes for our order and it was one of those moments where I'm waiting but the workers are kinda chatting themselves up and having a good time. Having worked at a place where I rolled burritos and made sandwiches, this was a little sad :( The cafe itself is cute and nice!
