The coffee beans had a deep flavor reminiscent of Vietnamese coffee. The lavender flavor was unlike any other. It didn't have that artificial syrup taste. It wasn't overly florally, instead it just enhances the coffee without overpowering. Even more so, the vanilla latte was even better because that Madagascar bean flavor really shines through. I recommend getting this one if you're unsure what to order. We got to chit chat with the owner and he makes all the syrups from scratch. Both the lavender and vanilla bean syrup are homemade which is why you can really taste and appreciate the difference. The owner was very personable, open to criticism and all around a pleasant person. He seemed very knowledgable about coffee and clearly passionate about what he does. One thing I really appreciated was the temperature of the coffee. The lattes were served nice and hot. They prioritize the coffee experience rather than latte art which I appreciated.
