I first came here the week they opened in 2020, which as we all know was extremely unfortunate timing. Despite that, I was hooked from first taste! The coffeeholic dream is their top seller for a reason as it is delicious but all the other drinks on the menu are great as well and the seasonal drinks are so fun and creative. I love the pop ups they do with local businesses once in a while too! Overall the drinks are amazing and I love that the staff always ask how your day is going or if you have anything fun planned. :) read more

This is my favorite coffee shop in Seattle and I am so happy they have a new location further north! Their drinks are unique and tasty, interior is beautiful and welcoming and staff is friendly. I think one thing that sets them apart from other coffee shops is that they are very consistent with their drinks. My drink tastes the same each time I order it, no matter how busy they are or who makes it. I appreciate that! The line can get long and the wait can be long too but they have a great online ordering system! Just order online (I go thru Yelp but they have their own app too!) and you just go inside and they'll put your drinks on the table with your name on it. You can just pickup and go without waiting or talking to anyone...so easy! My favorite drink was coffeeholic dream with ube but now it's the tropical vine with ube foam. Both are so good! i learned about coffeeholic house after watching feed mei-mei's seattle vlog (aka my inspo for my seattle trip lol) and thought this spot looked really interesting. i absolutely love pandan, so their tropical vine really excited me! coffeeholic house is located more towards the north in seattle, so it's a bit of a ways away from downtown. this totally worked out for me, however, because i was already headed up north for vancouver bc and decided to stop by for breakfast, so if you want to maximize your mileage, this is a pretty good strat. i arrived on thursday morning at around 8:45am, and there was a surprisingly good amount of people: not enough for it to be crowded and uncomfortable, but enough to be noisy. ok food review time! a-tier: tropical vine (coffee latte with pandan-infused coconut milk and pandan jello): this was the drink i was most anticipating, and it definitely was solid. i added ube foam to the top partially for the photo op and partially because i just like ube, but i couldn't really taste it, so i'd advise against the foam to save some money lol. the pandan flavor, unlike the ube flavor, was really strong and made even better with the jello! the drink is pretty sweet, though, so i probably wouldn't go for this as my first meal in the morning. my muse (lavender-rose latte): this was much lighter in flavor than the tropical vibe, but i found it really pleasant. the floral flavors are very light, and it isn't too sweet, making it definitely a better choice for a morning coffee than the tropical vine imo. ube latte: similar to the ube foam, i felt that the ube latte didn't have that much ube flavor. however, it was still an enjoyable drink, and i actually think the light flavor worked in its favor considering how early in the morning it was. overall, coffeeholic house is a really nice spot for some unique coffee and chill vibes! read more

Okay well what a bummer, it happens to all of them. Where to begin... Firstly since it blew up and got way busier they have hired and gone through so many people who have been poorly trained on the drinks, since i started coming here several years ago the quality has taken a nose dive while the prices are increasing. Exactly as predicted in my last review. The customer service seems more fake now when before it was inviting and warm. Came in this morning looking past all of that, girlfriend is sick in bed so i thought i'd grab her an herbal tea while im here, no herbal teas no peppermint or camomile. It's a house shop for gods sake. I was like ok well tough luck, proceed to hand 10 dollars in cash for my latte and the young lady says we don't take cash. Well that's the last straw. First time trying this overly hyped cute coffee shop in Seattle. My first impression of this place is just too crowded on a weekend morning. The queue to take your order is pretty long and I had to wait abt 15-20 mins for my order as there are a lot of to-go orders. Not understaffed but too many orders & slow service. We ordered (1) Coffeeholic Dream: the best seller in here. However, the cheese on top is rather bland. The coffee tastes pretty heavy which some people might find it good but not for me. There isnt really any taste of the ube as it is just sprinkled a little on top. Overall, taste for me is 3/5. (2) Chai Tea Latte: it is okay if you like chai tea. The spice taste is just perfect not too strong and not bland either. Overall taste is 4/5 but my complain is they gave too much ice! 3/4 of the cup was filled with ice as pictured below. Took a few big sips and finished! What a bummer not worth it. My conclusion is that this place is too hyped up as it targeted the right audience (like myself) because of its decoration & cuteness of the place. Ambience is rather noisy as too many people. Me and mine made a beeline to try the recently opened Coffeeholic House in Greenwood. There is street parking and a couple of designated spaces in the pad parking area. The space is bright and light and green with the interior plant decor. There is some inside seating. The line was long, but the staff was friendly and moved it along quickly. There are several drink options on the menu. I had the Coffeeholic Dream and enjoyed the nutty essence and the salted cheese foam. It was a little on the sweet side for me and so was the Vietnamese coffee. I still would like to try more of the drinks on the menu, especially some of the fruity ones. The apple turnover was good. The bbq pork bun was tasty but wasn't heated enough. Would be really good if hotter. read more

I have nothing but positive praise for Coffeeholic. Their first location in Columbia City is far for most seattle folks but well worth the commute! Their drinks are comparable to coffee spots in the Bay (which has a much more lucrative and exciting food scene than Seattle if I'm being honest). When my boyfriend comes to visit Seattle, he always asks to make Coffeeholic our first stop and I don't blame him! Luckily for me, the owners opened a new location near my house so I can feed my addiction even more. Everything the owners have done with this business is on point: their brand marketing, their unique specialty drinks, their iconic interior design, and their staff's service. The coffee is good. However, we ordered 2x ham and cheese sandwiches that were given to us cold. The sandwiches were wrapped in foil, the bottom was clearly 'warmed' a little bit but the top was colder than room temperature. I am not picky when it comes to the temperature of food but it's disappointing to receive what were clearly two easily preventable mistakes. The sandwiches were either wrapped in foil then heated via toaster oven, etc. but the foil (on the top side) was too thick or whatever was used to heat it was going out. Are employees not checking their equipment and / or food for acceptability? I would have preferred a literal room temperature sandwich. read more

I'm surprised I haven't reviewed Coffeeholic yet! This is my favorite coffee spot in Seattle. I had my eye on Coffeeholic House when they opened in Columbia City during the pandemic, and I finally tried it once the world started opening up again. I fell in love. We used to drive 40+ minutes (each way) just to go there, and I was beyond thrilled when they opened up their Greenwood location. Coffeeholic serves some traditional Viet coffees, but the star is the Coffeeholic Dream. It's basically a Viet coffee + salted cheese foam on top. I usually order it less sweet. I also really like the tropical vine with an added shop of espresso and cheese foam. My husband likes the ice blended Vietnamese coffee. I've also tried some non-coffee summer drinks such as the coco berry and longan chrysanthemum tea. I also like to come here to work on some weekday mornings. They have bench seating, power strips, and a few tables along the window. Service is great, and they always make an effort to ask you about your day. They also have an app so you can order ahead of time. The only slight downside is parking, but there's free 2-hour street parking and a small paid lot next door with a few spots reserved for Coffeeholic next door. (I honestly don't know if anyone actually pays or checks the lot.) read more

Great Vietnamese coffee shop with 3 locations in the Seattle area!- Columbia City, Greenwood, and Bellevue. I'm writing this review after I've been to all 3 locations and I am happy to say that all 3 are top quality! Their drinks can be on the sweeter side, but that comes with the Southeast Asian flavors they are incorporating into their drinks. Their ube foam is unmatched amongst Seattle coffee shops. First time at this location and they didn't disappoint. Decent ambit of seating with about 10 indoor tables and 4-5 outdoor tables. Great environment for meeting up with friends to socialize or study. There's outlets along the perimeter of the store. It gets really busy but people come and go often. Whenever I travel to WA I try and visit a Coffeeholic for their Purple Haze drink as it has a strong coffee flavor with a balanced ube falvor. This place is great if you want a strong Vietnamese coffee with a twist. I got the classic Vietnamese coffee and it had the strong caffeine kick sweetened with condensed milk. You really can't go wrong with that combination. Would love to come back and try their other flavored with Ube and cheese foam!! Went here with a friend of mine after hearing they opened their brand new north-end location. Coffeeholic Dream ($6) - their house favorite. my girlfriend really enjoyed this and said the salted cheese foam was a nice touch. Almond Croissant ($5.75) - flaky and sweet. Lots of almond slices on top for a good crunch. Vietnamese coffee ($5) - kind of a let down for me. I ordered a 12oz; I figured that with a premium price it would be made fresh, but the barista pulled a premade, half-full cup of coffee from the fridge, put ice in it, then gave it to me. It was VERY sweet. If I got this again, I would ask for less sweetener (if it is an option). I would try it out if you haven't been as I think the overall, true coffee taste is good. I think the price is pretty steep (minimum $5 for a small drink with mostly ice). read more

I love seeing a Vietnamese coffee shop around with fun twists on traditional coffees. I ordered their beautiful Tropical Vine with ube foam. And if you're not used to these flavors, it can be very different, but I think you'll still enjoy it. It did get sweet at the end and when you mix it, the colors did turn a weird grey, but still very delicious. I also bought their beans and I wanted it ground, and they can grind it for you! They're very accommodating and even asked how I was going to use it to ensure they grind it to the appropriate size. Awesome employees. A friend of ours treated us to takeout coffee from this place so I haven't actually seen the physical store or experienced its ambience, so this review is purely about its drinks. Honestly the drinks we got (Coffeeholic Dream and Ube Coffee) were absolutely phenomenal! I personally preferred the coffeeholic dream better between the two but you really can't go wrong with either. The takeout cups used were also super sturdy and high quality. Now I just wish there was one of these stores on the Eastside so I don't have to drive to North Seattle just to get this! read more

Just dropped by for the first time today, and I was just so thrilled by this fun coffee experience! The creme brûlée latte was phenomenal and I really appreciated the seasonal latte I ordered. A great place to pick up a very delicious coffee beverage. I have tried some of the seasonal as well as the classics like ube and the one with pandan. I will drink the one with Pandan so fast and be wanting another in the matter of 10min. It's absolutely delicious. The parking is better at this location which is why I prefer this one. On God I love this place sooo much - I literally make it my personal mission to go at least once a week. Coffee: I genuinely think the coffee here is one of the best I've ever had, and everyone I bring to this place agrees! I love their coffeeholic dream - I get it less sweet with no ice, and it's literally perfection. It seriously makes my weekend! Idk how to describe it, but if you like Vietnamese coffee, you'll definitely love this place. The bitterness of the coffee balances out so well with the foam. *chef's kiss* My friend was actually kind of sad I showed him this place right before he left hehe oops. Interior: The inside of this place is SO cute - there are so many plants and bright lights, and the overall vibes here are amazing. I love this place so much; it brightens my mood just coming here. It's such a nice spot to just sit and chat with your friends (if you have any, if you don't, that's cool too, you can just vibe out in the back).
