First time here, it's great! I've been meaning to try their matcha, and it's pretty decent. Unlike most places, it doesn't taste like milk and has a richer matcha flavor, however, some undissolved matcha chunks were left at the bottom. Next time I'll ask for less sugar since it's a little too sweet for me! There was only one person working when I went, and she was pretty friendly; she served me fast and answered my questions. Found this hidden gem this morning! Cute little coffee shop tucked away within the industrial buildings in Santee. The barista was very helpful and suggested a pastry for me to order. I ordered an iced pumpkin horchata latte and a jalapeño turkey cream cheese croissant that he was able to warm up. Both were delicious! The latte was sweet with a good amount of cinnamon and the croissant was flaky. Average coffee spot, very little selection, but understand with it being new and all. Decent selection of pastries, if you arrive late to this location, they'll sell out quickly as its very limited. I did enjoy the ube croissant, great flavor with not so over powering ube taste. Staff was fair, I felt she was not that engaging with the customers as other coffee shops. Great coffee and great baked goods. Coffeentalk finally added a small coffee shop at their roastery in Santee. The coffee shop some inside comfortable seating and a very nice patio. I had a cortado with whole milk and an almond croissant. The cortado was very well made and offered a smooth rich flavor and texture. The almond croissant was bliss. It tasted great and had a buttery texture. They did not hold back on the almond ingredient. Great croissant. Service was quite friendly and welcoming. OK, so I love this coffee shop I do have to confess that I seen a reel on Instagram and I got suckered in because of the coffee art !! unfortunately the day I went the barista who does the art was not there but that's OK cause I still love this coffee shop, so I went there with my toddler to meet Some family who also has small children and oh my gosh was it an eventful time the inside is very small because keep in mind that they are roasting coffee beans there which is pretty cool. I do wish I could've done a little tour, however they no longer offer that. The bookshelf and the book lights are pretty cool.. The coffee was amazing so delicious. The barista was really lovely. We did have three toddlers which were going crazy And they were so lovely about it. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend it. My new go to coffee shop in Santee! Apparently they've always roasted their beans in Santee but only recently decided to open up a storefront here. We tried the raspberry swirl croissant, pistachio, hazelnut, and ube flavors. My favorite is still the raspberry! The filling inside pairs perfectly well with the flaky pastry. It tastes even better after you airfry it at home. As for drinks we tried the rose honey latte and pistachio latte. Both were delicious, but I thought the pistachio was especially yummy! It's a nice and creamy pistachio flavor that pairs well with the coffee. I'll be back to try the other drinks! read more

This places gets better every time! They've been bringing in more pastries, and I've enjoyed each one I've tried. The latest was the Raspberry Croissant, which was super flaky and pleasantly sweet. I was speaking to the owner and the croissants are made entirely from scratch! It's no easy task to get right, and not the most cost effective. Nonetheless, Coffeentalk wants to do it right, and you can taste the difference. I'm still obsessed with the Aloha Latte but ventured out to try to the Horchata, and now it's a close second! The new barista even made some pretty cool latte art, which is always fun to see. If you haven't already, definitely give this place a try for your next coffee date, solo or with another. There's no drive thru though, so unfortunately not going to be the easiest option if you're in a rush. That being said I've never had to wait long for my items! I will say, the seating is extremely limited, this is the type of place where you pop in for a quick coffee and head out. I do believe they have Wi-Fi, so if you're looking to do some work outdoors under the shade of a beautiful tree, check this place out. Parking was super easy and my drink was ready extremely quickly. Despite placing my order before a group of men behind me, the barista chose to make and serve their drinks first. Because their order was large, I ended up waiting quite a while.
