The next time that we used the boat (which was not until many months later in the summer), the power steering was still not working. We contacted him and he charged us for another visit only to tell us that he no longer wanted to work with us. I do appreciate that Troy talked through his perspective with me, and I was hoping that we could come to a reasonable resolution of the problem, but Troy refused to do anything to resolve the problem. Troy told me, "I have enough boats to work on" and told me that he was not willing to do anything to fix the issue or provide us a partial refund of his charges. In light of this, I do not recommend using Troy for your boat repairs or maintenance.

I would like…read moreto start out saying, what a beautiful looking showroom extremely clean inside all the boats were even dust free. Well kept up showroom, even the grounds were kept up and looking good. Now, it's time to share my concerns about the engine's installation. 1. I'm not sure if it was me or someone else, but we had to tilt the engine up to put the transom saver on. That's when the five-amp clean power fuse blew(what fuse ?). Salesman called one of the installers over to look at the fuse, he commented that happens sometimes with the newer engine. He put in a new fuse then handed me 4 extra fuses. 2. Returned home, decide to check the torque value of the mounting hardware for the jack plate to engine. I found the mounting hardware torque to approximately 40 ft lbs, where it should be 90 ft/ lbs. In addition, the wrong mounting hardware was used. Mercury requires 1/2" X 20 bolts to be used when mounting the engine to the jack plate or to the transom which requires 55 ft/lbs ( Mercury outboard to lift plate mounting bolt kit 10-67755A22/26). If mounted to the jack plate it requires 90 ft/lbs. If they install the wrong hardware on my boat, how many other boats out there have the wrong hardware with the improper torque value? 3. Decided to purchase a new hydraulic steering Seastar Front Mount cylinder for the new engine. After the new Seastar Front Mount was installed I noticed that they failed to install grounding strap. How about that. Called the dealer and they said it was not included with the box and they would not send me one. They said to call Seastar and they'll send me one for free. I called SeaStar in Canada. They said they will sent me one for free, but they would need my Social Security number or tax exam number due to the tariffs. In addition, he said all the grounding straps are included in all front mount cylinders, so somebody's lying. 4. My last concern is, I went to remove the prop and it was excessively tightened where I needed a breaker bar to break the nut loose. In addition they had the washers backwards for the installation, go figure. Some positive comments, hooking up the trailer to head back to the dealer I noticed that my brake actuator roll pin was missing the washer and snap ring. They were nice enough to install a washer and snap ring at no charge. In addition, I asked if they could program the Smartcraft Mercmonitor so I can see my trim position, they were nice enough to do that for me.

Each time I was told we are slammed and will call back, no call back. I asked for an appointment and was told Aug 13. I said not good enough and I could go somewhere else. Today is July 13. I miss the previous owners. At no time did I become angry. This terrible customer service. A negative rating. This dealer is not even close to the standard set by there previous organization. MINUS 10 black stars I had to give 1 star to post a review, what a joke.

They lied about testing the lift when it dropped and totaled my boat. They will not take ownership on their warranty! The owners hide and can't talk to any of them because they know they are liable for a failed lift. The control box company told me they never registered the box. The box was 3 years old before they installed it on my lift! I have $60,000 in damages. I had the same problem a year ago with my lift and they did not pressure test or get the control box company out to test it because they knew it was not warrantied. If they did come out the lift would have been fixed and all of this wouldn't have happened. BUYER BEWARE!!!

New Boat Lift: 6800 LT model…read more I had a tough decision to make as I had an existing relationship with a great team that provides another brand of lifts to replace our "Old" lift destroyed this winter due to old age. Doing my own research, I came across Casey and His Team and decided to hear him out on the advantages of the Loto Lift 6800 LT. Casey knows his lifts and while he did not "Bad Mouth" the other brand, he did feature the advantages of his lift. I made the decision to go with an unknown team over the great service of the known team simply because I felt the Loto Lift had too many features I could not pass up: I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER ABOUT THAT DECISION. Casey was scheduling a few weeks out and gave me a tentative date for removal of the "Old" and installation of the "New". As the date approached, he contacted me with the exact date so we could be there. They came as scheduled and the installation was 100% professional. I cannot thank him and his team enough. I have a second lift of the "Other Brand" that is still reliable, but comparing these two lifts Side-by-Side is a "No Brainer". I simply love that all of the hardware is above the water and the construction of the 6800 LT is incredibly impressive. I cannot give a higher rating for both Before the Sale and Installation. Friendly, competitive and professional throughout the installation. Everything I witnessed convinces me that Casey and his team will stand by their work for years to come.
