She falsely claimed she had told us over the phone (a claim completely contradicted by the email), and bluntly refused to discuss it in person, saying, "No refunds, I'm not discussing this further, we are done here." Calling her a liar and a thief feels harsh, but something is off. Either her memory isn't sharp; she wasn't willing to own the mistake and made up a story; or she and the company are overcharging customers. If you value honesty, competent staff, or a business which honors clear agreements, I would strongly suggest looking for better accommodations elsewhere.
