I use this laundromat because it's next to my house and it's convenient for me to come here. The machines are a bit out dated and one of the quarter dispenser machines never works for me. Tried using one of the 6-load washers (which costs $7.25) and it ate two of my quarters. It then proceeded to spin without starting the wash cycle with the door locked and the program got stuck for almost an hour and a half. So my unwashed clothes were held hostage for that hour and a half because there were no employees to be seen. When I finally found someone they refused me a refund or to be any help other than opening the door for me. Definitely do not come here. Huge waste of time and money. read more

This Laundromat has raised its prices time and time again and they don't fix or replace their washers/dryers. They offer a fluff and fold service which is essentially you dropping off your cloths and they wash it. Their fluff and fold is not a 5 star dry cleaning service. This service is priced based off the weight of your cloths. I tried their service once and it was the same amount of cloths I normally wash for $10. Why are they charging $70 for this service. What is nice about this laundry mat is they have attendants. They have a really kind lady with brown hair and a Latino man who help out in the laundry mat. They are nice and can help you with the machines. They recently hired a Blonde lady who works Tuesdays. She is very rude and enjoys screaming at guest for w thing. She creamed at guest for the door hitting to hard. She even yelled at a lady who had a question about one of the dryers. She said very loud and vocally "the lady who had questions about the dryer please come up here now". The laundry mat went silent for a brief moment. She will definitely make this business go down. Their great customer service lost by one person. It's sad and idk why she's so upset as she sits on her tablet the whole time she works here. I purchased a new comforter about a month ago for a special family member. I decided to use "Coin Laundry" facilities to wash out the loose fibers to prevent lint problems. I required the use of the larger, more expensive commercial washing machine intended for heavy blankets. I arrived this evening to see that most of the smaller washing machines and dryers were virtually unused. I was able to wash the heavy blanket without problems. Unfortunately, this is when complications ensued very quickly. I politely asked this Hispanic mother and her daughter using the only three available commercial dryers if I could borrow a single dryer once the time ended. There was less than five minutes left on the middle timer. This would allow me to complete my laundry and arrive back home to finish more responsibilities. Instead of being polite and courteous, the daughter barked at me and stated "It's first come, first serve!" After the remark was made, her mother spitefully inserted more money into all three dryers increasing the time to wait for an additional full hour. I once again insisted that I required a dryer intended for blankets and this specific dryer dries quickly in only 10 minutes. Their smaller clothes could've used any of the available open smaller dryers to finish anything else they needed. They both ignored my request and continued speaking Spanish to each other. I decided to sit near the front entrance and continue reading my book waiting patiently for the selfishly rude family to complete their never ending laundry. We all have been advised to adhere with the new social distancing recommendation due to the COVID-19 virus. Despite this warning, another nearby Hispanic couple was sitting on the only available folding table next to the much needed dryers. Their buttocks and dirty feet were on the table expressing their grossly unacceptable love session in public. This establishment wasn't a hotel intended for unsanitary lovemaking but to wash and dry laundry. There was only a single attendant that evening cleaning the machines and floor. I asked him, "Why do you allow patrons to sit on the tables instead of the chairs?" He had no answer but shrugged his shoulders. I kindly asked him to notify me once a commercial dryer has ended to allow me the respect to finish my laundry. He acknowledged my request and agreed. Shortly afterwards, the third member to the couple making inappropriate love gestures on the table was loading her laundry into the middle dryer! Once again I was disrespected and ignored this time by the nightly attendant. I demanded to know why I wasn't informed of the finished dryer from his view sitting behind the desk. He stated "I didn't know...?" It was because he was too busy playing on his mobile phone! It's bad enough we all live in a world filled with hateful, disrespectful, and inconsiderate selfish people. You'd think with the worldwide virus pandemic, people would be more receptive towards other people needs beside their own. Please don't be like these uneducated patrons and the lazy business employee that failed to use basic common courtesy and social respect! I DO NOT recommend this business due to the disrespect received as a equal patron using this facility. I will no longer attend or financially support this business with my hard earned money which hires employees that reflect improper work ethics and no responsibility for their actions. Just FYI, I waited 2 1/2 hours in hopes to dry this blanket for a daughter this evening. This never happened due to a selfishly hateful individual residing in our community. read more

If you don't have a washer and dryer at home, then this place is perfect for a quick wash and dry. I walked into the place and was immediately greeted with a smell of detergent and other washing agents, which isn't a surprise because it's a launder-mat. Just wanted to put that out there in case anybody gets surprised by smells. There are a plethora of washing utilities available, and you shouldn't have very much of an issue finding a station to get your business done. Also, there are various laundry carts available for your personal use in hanging and drying. I wouldn't recommend leaving your clothes unattended, especially if they're expensive closed that you don't really want to lose, because it would be pretty feasible for somebody to steal your clothes (ladies i know this has happened to us!). Anyways, place is a standard laundermat that has a standard laundermat review. One thing I wouldn't recommend is the candy machines......pretty sure they haven't replaced the candy in years. Ok, I am breaking my rule about reviewing laundry mats... I had a flea issue (damn neighbors!) lately and needed to do a bunch of laundry all at once. Loaded my eight bags of laundry and headed to this place next to Vons and Mister Fish and Chips. There is this wonderfully crazy woman who works here during the day. She offers free soap, or if you need to buy soap at Vons she has coupons, or she will tell you "Dryer #8 & 9 - best for jeans and towels, but the kicker is when she pulls out thirty, yes 30, tennis balls to throw into my drers to speed the drying and save me money! BTW, this is the SECOND time this happened, I washed all our comforters and blankets here a few months ago! read more

The large room is pleasant and kept very clean with TVs to watch while you wait for your loads to finish. They have around three to four dozen machines, with several size options ranging from single top loaders (for $1.75) to ~$2/3 for front loading doubles and $4/5+ for multi-load machines. The staff member on site was extremely helpful to me and friendly. She even lent me a few dryer balls and gave me tips on how to dry my thick comforters and pillows. I usually come to Garfield Plaza to eat, get my nails done and use the postal connection. I always see this laundromat is full of customers smoking right outside the door, WTH. There is even a sign right in from that says no smoking, but they all ignore it. This is a laundry facility where you go to wash, who wants to breath noxious fumes while waiting for clothes to be clean? Because of this, I haven't used their facility before. Unfortunately, last week I was in a bind since my washer had issues, and this place was close to my house. The cashier/manager was a little rude old woman, like she's bitter for working there. She was chain smoking outside when I came in, so I didn't even know she was working there. She spent her whole time smoking outside. I couldn't wait to get out of there. So the place I moved into doesn't have laundry available for me. Thank goodness for launderland. It's super close to home, clean, and there are always washers and dryers available. They also offer a fluff n fold service if you don't have the time to do it yourself or are just incompetent when it comes to washing your clothes. The girls that work here are really nice and always super helpful. There is a starbucks, Mexican and Chinese food nearby if you get hungry and/or thirsty. There is also a del taco just across the street. Not sure if they have Wi-Fi but that's not super important to me. There are washers and dryers of every size available for all of your washing needs as well as a change machine and vending machine for soaps, etc in case you forget yours. read more

Although I am not a fan of doing my laundry, Launderland makes this task less terrible. They have a great location and parking is never a problem. When you get there early in the morning, there are much less people. I would recommend it! I have learned over the months that the best way to use your time and money is going straight to the back where there are large loads. Let you laundry build up over two weeks and then put it all in the larger washers in the back which charge about $6.00 in Quarters. Only one load is needed for two people for two weeks of laundry! A great price! Then transfer them all to the driers next them which allow your clothes to dry quickly and without wrinkles! I like to put my laundry in the wash, go next door and get a coffee, transfer my laundry to the driers and then get my eyebrows done next door. Multitasking at it's finest! The employees are super sweet and they will put the TV on any channel you want. They have free WiFi and all the people that go there keep to themselves and are nice and respectful. The only downside is you have to pay .25 for the bathroom and I am never sure if the lock actually works. I would go to the Starbucks bathroom. read more

Took my Cal King comforter in for a cleaning. They had 6 super large capacity washers - $6.75/ load, 30 min wash time. The machines take quarters only but there is a change machine that will accept $1, $5, $10, or $20 bills. There is also a single use soap box dispenser in case you forgot the soap. Okay, so i'm just a poor college student who doesnt know much about the science behind washing clothes. I see a machine, i put clothes in it, and they come out all clean and dry. Yay. But what happens when you spill beer all over your bed comforter? This is what happened to me. So i wanted to go to a laundromat to stick it in one of the big washers since its a queen size comforter. Well i walk in here and the nice lady attending the place tells me all the little secrets of getting this puppy clean. She even gives me a free box of soap. That was totally nice of her. You see my comforter was no ordinary comforter. Besides the fact that it was made of silk and the tag said DRY CLEAN only, she was certain she knew the tricks. For the dryer she threw in some yellow spike-looking balls to help fluff the comforter and let hot air get all up and around the thing. She was definitely the reason i recommend this place. Also there is a neighboring Starbucks for when you have to wait for your clothes to wash and dry. There are also several clothe carts for transporting to and from your vehicle. Soaps can be purchased inside and also a vending machine is provided. The prices weren't bad either, especially for a poor college kid! Go. read more

There are a ton of washers: 8 single and 1/2 load ($2.50), 20 single load ($2.00), 8 double load ($3.25), 14 triple load ($4.25), and 6 six load washers ($6.75)!! There are 33 dryers (25 cents) and 3 monster dryers (50 cents for 10 minutes!). I used the big dryers. It's clean, neat, and currently quiet. If you want to drop off your laundry, it's $1.25/lb with a minimum of 10lbs. Fluff and fold hours are 8am-5pm daily. read more

The washers do not spin the clothes enough to dry at a reasonable amount of time. Have to pay .25$ for 7 minutes. Takes over $1.00 to dry sheets and underwear. No reading materials in English. It was my first experience with a Laundrymat service, so I asked for orientation.The clerk explained to me that I needed to put my cloth in their baskets and the laundry service included, drying and folding. I said that I only needed to use the coin machine, but she said , I'm sorry, we do all the service. So, OK I trusted her. MY BAD! I should have read the instructions myself but since it was my first time ever using the laundrymat I trusted the clerk. When I picked up my laundry I realized I was ripped off! They even told me that I didn't explain myself correctly, and guess what? English is my second language. So I get here and thank goodness I was easily able to get a washer and a dryer never had to wait. This is the worst establishment I've had the misfortune to come across in a very long time. I used to live in the area and used this laundromat frequently. It was clean and well lit, although it was a little expensive. I recently went back and had a truly terrible experience. From the second I walked in the door I was harassed by a very angry older man who claimed to be the owner. He scolded me for showing up too late in the evening despite the fact that I got there half an hour before last wash. I ignored him and went about my business. What I could not ignore was the way he was speaking to another patron, a quiet older woman who was minding her own business. She was waiting for her laundry to finish when he began yelling at her, screaming that she must put her clothes in the drier immediately. The woman couldn't get a word in edgewise and I told the man he had no right to speak to people that way. I told him he shouldn't be so rude to the people supporting his business. He then approached the bench I was sitting on and leaned in within an inch of my face, screaming that I hadn't yet seen rude. He threatened to get rude with me when I told him to back away from me immediately. I'm a 19 year old girl and only 5'5", not that imposing of a figure. This man was easily 6 feet tall and had a good 100 lbs on me. I was shocked that a grown man (I would guess he was at least 50+ years old) would threaten a young girl because she asked him to stop harassing another patron. I will never again enter this establishment and I would advise that you don't either, particularly if you're a woman who doesn't feel like being physically threatened (he didn't seem to have any issues with the men who were present. My guess is that he knew one of them might retaliate physically if he got in their face). This is the worst laundromat I've ever been to and it's not even worth the prices he charges. read more
