For a Monday this laundry mat was empty. I would say this laundry mat as far as pricing goes is really good. But it's not very clean. There were items of clothing on the floor that I will not say what was. The picture I took says at all. Also, the establishment itself is messy. Left with trash on the floor had trash, drier sheets everywhere the floor looks like it hasn't been mopped or cleaned in quite a while. Bathroom smelled of urine. I would say that as well there are some of the washers that need to some deep cleaning because they have mold or hard rust stains. The only good thing was that all of the washers and dryers appeared to be in good working condition; not broken down. This place could definitely be better. But not the worst i've ever seen. read more

My experience is that the folks who actually own this place DO care about customers and the community they serve. The prices of the machines are reasonable, the place is pretty clean, and they make an effort to address concerns about machines if you make an effort to reach out. They have TVs, seating, carts, folding tables, etc., to make the laundry experience as pleasant as possible. This is a great local laundry mat (with parking) and has everything you need for your everyday laundry needs. Give them a visit! read more

I had no issue with homeless ppl using this facility, big deal, what is this, a police state? Unless you have a real negative experience, leave then alone bc for the most part they're harmless. What i did have a problem with was the attendant himself, or manager, or owner, idk who he was but he was a real creep. I finished up late, last one there, it was around 10:30 on Feb 9 2024. I was exhausted and sent my son who is autistic btw to grab the last bag of clothes inside. He came back with it as well as a jacket and hat. My friend was also there just about to leave, i had washed a few items 4 him. All the sudden the attendant runs out screaming give me back my jacket and hat. My son gladly took them back in, no harm done. I asked him what happened and he said the guy had put out things in lost and found, why idk, and pointed to them, so apparently my son thought the jacket and hat were my buddy's who was sitting on his car waiting, something like that, looked i said he's autistic and has problems with directions. What really got me upset was the guy came out and told my friend that he's got a friend who would put hands on my son so he's better watch out. etc . I was furious and I'm going to report his behavior to the property management. I then wrote him s note that off he ever tried to hurt my son, put hands on him, need never use those hands again, he didn't know who he's dealing with. I hate that I have to travel to a location outside of my home (in my laundry day attire, no less) and pay to sit on a bench for 2 hours just to have clean clothes, but I LOVE that I am able to get all of my 'whites' in one big load and my 'darks' in another all done at the same time! So, while I complain about the 2-hours it takes me to get my laundry done, I am saving myself what usually takes a full day plus I get to eat at the amazing BBQ place around the corner while I wait! This location is clean, it has a ton of machines in all sorts of sizes and capacities and best of all, it has a change machine right inside for your convenience. Don't have any cash? Just walk down to Keil's and get yourself a snack with some cash back. It's too easy! I have never had an issue with anything here. Whether it be maintenance, upkeep or shady clientele. I just haven't seen it. Everyone is simply there thinking the same thing I am: "I need to get the heck out of my apartment and into a place with its own washer and dryer!" read more

Idk if its my luck but this is twice already I came to this laundry laundry mat and the dryer either would not get hot enough to dry my clothes or the dryer stopped spinning mid cycle. I tried calling the owner and I never hear back from him. Although a couple of people have said he gets back to people pretty quick. I've tried to be patient but now it's just enough. I'm tired of the dryer eating my quarters. Even though it's just a quarter for 7 mins it adds up without you realizing it since you have to keep adding quarters just to get your clothes dry. A $1.00 should be enough to dry a load of clothes but having it go to $2.00? That's when it gets absurd. The dryers are money eating machines! read more

Last week our in-home washing machine broke. We obviously had to clean our clothes and the first place I thought of was this place. It's extremely close to home and right by the new (almost opened) Sprouts. The Laundromat it self was clean and pretty empty. There were a few machines not working along with the big spinner. But that is to be expected with a place like this that gets lots of use. I've done laundry here three times and not a problem to be had. 8/8/17 I came in to do a quick load of laundry and met the owner. He is a very nice and concerned owner. He came by a couple times to chat with me and see how I liked the place and had a real conversation with me, (not a typical "hi how's it's going? Oh good" and walk away). It is a little outdated but my clothes got clean and dry and that's what's important. There is free WIFI which is great while you're waiting! My only critiques would be; maybe a fan or two cause it was a lot warm in there, and a couple more signs for the wifi code. Great place and I will be back when I need to do big loads or comforters! read more

The place is a laundry mat. No more no less. The presence of the homeless and sketchy tweakers is very apparent. If you can come in when its between 12 and 4pm its not too busy and you can avoid that. Its relatively dirty and some of the washers leak onto the floor. I would give one star but it does offer free WiFi and I had an issue with one of the machines and the owner was there within 20 minutes to fix it to get my clothes out. If your looking for a cleaner place your not going to find it in Clairemont so if your close to here its worth it. read more

This place is very convenient and centrally located, hosts a variety of small to large load washers and dryers. Usually not an issue to find a open machine. A big drawback is the constant presence of smoke wafting in. I think it's a manager always parked at the back door, chain-smoking. If you have to smoke, whatever, just don't park right next to the damn door while you do it! I don't need that stink on my clean clothes, let alone my lungs. I spent a lot of time here in my early years in San Diego. No cable at first, so I would do laundry on Monday Nights so I could watch MNF here. This place was always in tip-top shape, super clean and rarely was there a broken machine. There was always enough parking, washers and dryers. It's also convenient 'cause I could drop a load and go grocery shopping around the corner at Keils. I do have to say I don't miss this place, there's nothing better than having the convenience of a washer and dryer at home. read more

Really nice little laundry mat. I'm dog sitting in the area and needed a place to do my laundry. Little tricky to find at least with my GPS. If parking in sprouts parking lot (where mine directed me) walk right down the little walkway between Sprouts and Farmers Table. There is parking in front of it too but not sure where to turn to get on that side because the Sprouts parking is easier for me so haven't had to look for it. They have different washer sizes for laundry loads i was using the smaller 2 load ones but if you need comforters or wanna run 6 loads they have those sizes. Silver washers don't have timers on them just dials or panels to tell you what part of the cycle it's on. The white washers by the window for smaller loads did though so preferred them when I came back the second time so I would know how long it would take. Free WiFi. No charging outlets though. Someone else had mentioned this and I agree it's a little annoying. My laptop dies fast and it would have been nice to get more work done while waiting for my load. Bathroom inside has a $.25 to use lock on it. Does have change machine and soap machine . Washers were a bit expensive if you are running small loads. $2.75-$3.00. (Train Jits and for those of you that train you know the Gi struggle is real and you CANT not wash that thing after rolling) The driers work super well and are $.25 for 7 mins so honestly only needed 7-14 mins on high to dry my little load. Guy who worked there and was working on the change machine mentioned doors are automatic. They open at 7am (though sometimes if they need to get in early you can also get in early) and close at 11pm. Yelp had the hours wrong. Says 7am-10pm. Now they do call last load at 10pm according to the signs but the doors close at 11pm so you have time to start your last load or finish your last load before they close. read more

Hey what can I say. When you need to do laundry this is a cool little spot to do it in. Most of the time its clean. I like the tables and the wi-fi. Open the doors to let the breeze in. This is a rather small laundromat in Clairemont Village. They have a variety of washer sizes. from single load for $2.25 to eight loads for $8.00. The dryers are 25 cents for 7 min. Many of the machine including the extractor were out of order. They had free Wi-Fi but I didn't know the password at first till I actually read the sign about the free Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi work well. The restroom and TV were on a pay per use basis. At the time of my visit it was not terribl busy. About 5 customers some with kids. I didn't hear anyone speaking English. The place was fairly clean. I didn't see an attendant on my visit. There are three change machines. You can change up to a Jackson for quarters. They have a soap vending machine from which you can get soap, bleach, or fabric softener for a buck each. I used the 4 load for $5.00. It did a fair job washing. for 5 bucks I felt it didn't spin the clothes dry enough which resulted in me spending $1.50 to dry my clothes as well as I could have for a dollar at my usual places. read more

I had to go here because my water got turned off while they were doing street construction...ugh! I feel so lucky to have my own washer and dryer and appreciate it even more now. The place was OK but I didn't think it did as good of a job as my one at home. I just didn't like it but I guess if you have to go, it's OK. There was parking out front so that was good. I have been coming to this laundromat for about 9 months since I moved to San Diego from Colorado. When I moved here, going to a laundromat was foreign to me. This place is relatively clean, has lots of machines to use and is in a great location. My husband and I live very close and come here on a weekly basis. We usually get food from nearby restaurants and eat it while we wait. The people who own and operate the place are extremely helpful!! The guy who cleans the place at night has always been cool. Today I had my clothes get locked in one of the washers. I called the numbers I found for them and left a message. Had a call back in about 5 to 10 minutes and the guy was there within 30 minutes. He got the washer open, gave me a refund, and helped dry the clothes in the meantime since I would have had to reward them and I didn't want to be there super late. I will keep my business here as long as I live close :-) very grateful! read more

Been coming here for a couple three years...Terrific Laundry....very clean (including bathroom), Free Wi-Fi, a big TV that you can change the channel on (never seen that in a laundry). Most of all, very VERY few out-of-order machines. They must come in here to fix stuff all the dang time, because I seldom see any broken machines. My last laundry that I went to was always a scramble because there were so many down machines, you had to struggle to get a good one. Not here, ever. They have a spinner centrifuge thingy (which I LOVE) in here that was gone for while, but it's back now, so that's good. Saves much time and money. When I first came in, there was a bit of a homeless problem, but I am told that the ownership of the shopping center changed hands a couple years ago, and they got extra security that has all but eliminated the problem as far as I can tell. Bathroom costs a quarter, but the guy in there said that was to fight the homeless issue, and it must have helped as well. Anyways, lots of extra large machines for sleeping bags and so forth (including an 80 lb.) and lots of parking close to the door. Nice place. read more
