Sunday noon out in the patio. It was a gorgeous day so we sat outside. Also sat outside because the 3 piece band that was playing inside was waaaay too loud. Service was very friendly but slow. We split a burger, unfortunately tasteless and the fries were also just meh. Beers were good and the patio scene was really good. May try again...

Parking can be tight. It's a nice place. People are usually friendly. Try to avoid on weekends. It's usually packed. Might be too busy for me.

The beer is good, the food is decent, the space is nice and open, but can be noisy. There is music at times. We hit the end of a Sunday jazz brunch at 2pm and the place got pretty busy. Service was nice but a bit slow. One dish was swapped with another by mistake. One of the apple salads didn't have apples. The fried halloomi cheese with guava dip and the pulled pork were excellent. Menu is limited and not very exciting.

The place was a great spot! I love that it has more of a restaurant vibe than a brewery. I also don't drink beer so I like that they have plenty of other options. The cocktails are delicious! We got the nachos because I was a little hungry. Omg the beer cheese is phenomenal and so unique. It brought the nachos to a whole new level of deliciousness! Will def go again.

Stopped here with my family after a fun morning at a park nearby. They are definitely family friendly and have tons of seating, both inside and outside. We were promptly seated and put our drink orders in. They have a little bit of everything: beer, wine, cocktails, non-alcoholic. I went with the berry wheat beer, which was good. For food, we started with the pretzel bites. They were hot and crisp and went nicely with the beer cheese and mustard dip. My husband and I split the sausage and ricotta pizza. The pizza had a thin crust. I ended up eating it with a fork and knife because the crust couldn't hold up the toppings. A couple of slices were very filling! Overall, we had a good experience and would come back!

Food was good, I really enjoyed the mussels I honestly found them better than the pizza. I think I need to try more flavors of pizza to feel convinced that I enjoy it. I don't really get the vibe it's "beer infused" pizza dough since I don't get much beer flavor from it, unless the toppings just mask it. The brew was good, I'm not a beer gal but I went ahead and tried the Field of Dreams, again I think I would go back to try other flavors. It was light and had a nice hops aftertaste. The service was quick, they got the job done. The ambiance was also pretty spacious and quiet on a Wednesday lunch-time. Not busy at all. Good place, I would probably go again to try other dishes!

I have been a fan of cold harbor since their original location, always a good variety of beer, Juice Freak is always a favorite. Their new location with the addition of food was very good- there seems to Be something on the menu for everyone. The place was very busy (as in popular) would definitely like to come back. There are TVs available to watch sports games too, though a little loud, still a good place to be.

Got a taste of Cold Harbor's new menu and my was it fantastic!! Never can go wrong coming here after a long day and getting amazing food with good service in such a lovely restaurant. We had the new fried calamari, ahi tuna appetizer, and short rib poutine with fries. My recommendation is the poutine- something definitely new that you probably haven't tasted!! The short rib is very soft and the crunchiness of the perfect fries makes it a great combination. As always a beautiful place that's always lively and loud. Try to check out their place when they have a live band playing, it's a treat for sure.

Truly outrageous customer treatment--this review is worth the read. I sent an email to the President and Founder after posting the review below to be sure he was aware and hoping he would address the situation in a more positive way. See his response to me in the photos below. We held my wife's 60th birthday party at Cold Harbor last Saturday. At the end of the event, I was presented with a bill that seemed way off, but I was leaving with my guests, so I decided to sign it and check it when I got home. Upon inspection, according to the bill we received for $6,377 (including a 20% -- $1,004 gratuity that was automatically added to the bill that I had never agreed to in advance), a group of 44 people with an average age of 55 attending a 60th birthday party on a Saturday afternoon somehow managed to consume the following: Twelve bottles of wine (60 five oz. glasses of wine) 57 pain killers 31 speedway lagers 24 juicy freak beers; and 4 Titos vodkas. For a total of 176 drinks or an average of 4 drinks per person. In addition, according to the bill (other than the water which was observed) they drank: a massive container of water 8 pineapple juices 6 diet cokes 5 coffees 4 club sodas; and, 3 cokes. In reality, five people did not drink at all and the group self-reported that they only drank 65 alcoholic beverages, a number that makes sense given the age of the group and the fact that most people who drank had the painkiller specialty cocktail where just one was usually enough. The total charge for the alcohol including tax and tip was $2,520 or $57 per person. The charge for the 111 drinks (using the average price per drink that was charged) that nobody says they drank was $1,589. Oh, and for the $53 per-person food charged on the bill, the 44 people actually in attendance magically became 55 resulting in an extra $740 on the bill. So, the total extra charges were approximately $2,329. They did miss including extra charges for premium food that brought the overcharge below $2,000. Since Cold Harbor has a minimum food and beverage spend of $5,250 for such events (and provides gift cards for the amount of underspend), had the correct charges been billed, we would have paid about the same but walked away with $1,200 in gift cards instead of nothing. Coincidentally, $1,200 is the level that constitutes grand larceny in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. After going back to meet with the event coordinator to point out the overcharge, and writing an email doing a detailed accounting and asking that the overcharge be returned in cash, what did Cold Harbor offer? To charge the minimum including a 15% tip and only give us $1,000 in gift cards. Less than we were entitled to if the correct charges were billed. Truly unbelievable. Do you know how embarrassing it is to have to poll your guests on what they drank? Thankfully, they are all good friends. In my last email to them, I asked that they skip the gift cards (as we will never go back), eliminate the gratuity (as I am not feeling any gratitude) and just charge us the minimum of $5,250 plus tax ($5,617.50 or $759.50 less than they actually charged). Needless to say, I will remain an unhappy customer if they do so, but will put the matter behind me. I am waiting for a response.

The food was absolutely superb, and the atmosphere was just as impressive. Great music, lighting, and energy - a truly excellent dining experience.

The black garlic dry rub chicken is my fave!

Their huge 275-seat event space was packed at tables for 4 to 8, for the two 1-hour sets of Live Dead & Brothers Band, an Allman Brothers - Grateful Dead group of legacy musicians from those bands and families!!! An authentic rockin' performance! They opened hot, with Feelin' Alright and Truckin', and ended hot with Midnight Rider, Ramblin' Man, and Jessica, with around 14 more between. The acoustics were excellent at our table, and we also took up our share of the crowded dance area :-) Their tour continues at least through Dec 2026. Our tickets were about $50 each. Service was fast and friendly, and they let us pull up one more chair for our group of nine. You can get crafted beers and cocktails. We settled in with ice cold regional beers, which honestly are just as distinctive as fancy craft beers. We got some food to share off their "concert menu", too. An entrée-size dish of rich creamy homemade Mac & Cheese, made with tasty aged Grafton Cheddar, soft slightly-al-dente curly Cavatappi pasta tubes, not-overcooked green beans, as i recall, crisply crusted with lightly-maple breadcrumbs. Very flavorful and satisfying. A sweet fresh bright Autumn Salad of greens, pecans, and bright beets, in tart vinaigrette. And juicy "Bull Run Classic" burgers with crisp lettuce, tasty firm tomato, mildly-sharp red onion, and, for one of them, an add-on of rich cheddar, all on a cloud-like brioche bun. They do ask for $20 per person food/beverage minimum for all shows, essentially an entree or a couple beverages each. That's about what we had planned to order anyway :-) This place knocked us out with their dedication to farm-to-table ingredients, sourced from more than 25 regional farms named on the dinner menu. We've never seem such an extensive list of the actual sources. Very cool! The Bull Run has been a tavern since 1741, named after the Battle of Bull Run in 1861, (or in another version, named for a brawl in the tavern at the same time :-), and has been run by the Guercios extended-family since 1946. It was a stop on the stagecoach route and a gathering place for the Revolutionary war. We loved the original wood, structure, and décor. The fireplaces were lovely. It's a huge venue. Bull Run has live music every week, and they're open Wed-Sun, but watch their schedule because dates vary, sometimes one day that week, sometimes all four! This show was in their 275-seat room. There's at least one larger room for around 400. Theres a little parking along Rt 2A, and much more out back across the covered bridge. Dont be put off by the rustic exterior. We loved this legendary performance at a legendary restaurant!

I spent $120 between food and drinks.. but the real kicker is *it's not a real restaurant* you go up and order like a Burger King and then you go up and pick up like Burger King but they still want a 20% tip. so I don't know what they want their 20% tip for when no one comes to you, no one checks on you. No one to ask you how it is. they don't care. also, they only sell single serve bottles of soda so there's no refills. We ended up spending like $22 on soda alone. * I noticed on their Facebook that they were complaining that people who were doing cornhole tournaments were bringing outside food and instead of reassessing their situation and what they're serving, they threatened to cancel the cornhole. If you served better food, people would buy it. It's not rocket science. Yours is 5/10 and there's other options out there that are cheaper and better than what you're currently offering. You don't take away the cornhole from people who are giving you any bit of business, you make it better for them.. so they want to buy it and they want to spend money and they want to eat your food. *since my teens aren't old enough to drink, there really isn't much to offer there in the way of food so we won't be coming back because there's no reason to.
