Unfortunately we ordered slices and they ordered a whole pizza so our pizza was ready (and cold) 20 mins before theirs was. I should've waited to order until their pizza came. Oh well. I came here with a buddy of mine to feast after hiking through the Cornish Estate trail (definitely worth checking out). Normally when I visit a restaurant, I try things that are interesting and different. Looking through the variety of slices available, I asked the gentleman behind the counter to recommend me some slices. I ended up with a Margherita slice, a BBQ Pulled Pork slice, and the Eggplant Garlic Knot sandwich. My friend had gotten a pepperoni slice and the spicy pepperoni with hot honey (not pictured). I didn't get to try his slices, but he really liked the pepperoni slice. He enjoyed the spicy one as well, but he said it was a little too spicy and sweet for his taste. He did end up getting an additional pepperoni slice. I went for the BBQ slice first, and it was FANTASTIC! Literally perfect in every way. The margherita slice however was rather plain. It wasn't bad by any regard, but I thought it was going to be just as good as the BBQ slice. Perhaps my taste buds were all over the place from the first slice. The biggest surprise here was the Garlic Knot Sandwich however. To be honest I wasn't expecting to like it; I only got it for the sake of trying something different, but I'm glad I did. Of the three, this was my absolute favorite. The combination of the pesto with the balsamic glaze and eggplant melded so perfectly. The staff inside was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the accompanying ambiance was calm and relaxing. The interior was also very clean. Overall this place was absolutely fantastic. The only thing that kept them from getting 5 stars was the margherita slice I had. It wasn't bad, but I felt that it was lacking, especially in comparison to the other items I had. We dropped by Cold Spring Pizza for a quick bite. We ordered a teriyaki slice and grandma spicy pepperoni pizza. The teriyaki slice was unique as it was doused with teriyaki sauce, but a little too sweet for our taste. The cubes of chicken breasts on top were also dry. The grandma pizza was nice and cheesy and topped with what I think is hot honey, giving it a nice hunt of sweetness! The best pizza in Dutchess county. I grew up in NJ and lived in NYC for most of my life and have had lots of pizza. After my husband and I moved to Beacon we searched for good pizza. We were told the best pizza was a pizza truck at the Hudson Brewery and it was fantastic, however, the HB decided to start making their own pizza and it's not that great. One day we came across Cold Spring Pizza and hands down it is the best pizza we have had in the area. The pizza has a perfect and delicious crust, sauce and cheese. Equal balance of all 3! We had a grandma slice and a regular and both were perfection. Low key and non pretentious environment and the staff is very friendly. They also serve pasta which I want to try one night. We will drive from Beacon to get this pizza over any pizza place in the immediate Beacon area. read more

I came here with my friends after a morning full of hiking. We ordered a half buffalo chicken & half cheese pizza and two servings of spaghetti and meatballs. The pizza came out very fresh and hot and the meatballs were seasoned very well. The pizzas are very large and can easily be split among 3-4 people. My friends and I usually stop by this pizza place after our trail running sessions. The servings are huge and a small round pizza is probably enough for four people. We made a mistake of ordering two small round pizza and I ended up taking home an entire whole pizza, two flavors combined. That's why I've been eating pizza for dinner every day this week. Staff is casual and nice, and it's also fun to watch other people eating in whatever way that pleases them. Our go to flavors are chicken ranch and chicken with spicy mayo. They're legit good. I'm old school Bronx n I keep it simple- cheese. Their Baskin Robbins 31 flavors all looked good but a plain slice tells you the truth about a place n truth is it's good. Balance of cheese to sauce is right, that light crunch when you bite into it, light char on the bottom. Sauce is maybe a lil garlicky but that's fine by me. So all in all, a solid slice. read more

My sister and I had lunch here yesterday. The pizza is delicious. One of the owners (been here for over 35 years) grew up in the Bronx and learned his craft there. The crusts are not too thin, and definitely not thick. To me, they are just right. We ordered half plain, half sausage and peppers. The s & p side was loaded. While waiting for the pie to be cooked, I enjoyed a slice of chicken marsala pizza, which was also delicious. They usually have 8 to 12 different designer pies on hand, where you can order a slice or two. I usually do. The calzones are amazing, as are the numerous entrees.....reasonably priced and filling. SO GOOD but a bit of a rip-off. First of all, I don't think i've ever seen a pizza joint without fountain sodas. They only sell bottles of drinks. I had to pay $2.50 for the tiny glass bottle of coke. I also had sicilian slices at $4 a pop. In most "non hip" parts of Brooklyn you get two slices + coke for $5 so you're clearly getting ripped off on tourist rates. That said - the sicilians were maybe the best I ever had outside of Spumoni Gardens. That's not just because I was hungry. I tasted the cheese and the tomato sauce and it was perfect. The crust was just perfectly right on crunch. So yes - you're paying a lot but it's a nice place with actual booths and outdoor seating and the pizza is perfection. read more

Whoa! This pizza blew me away. My out of town guests and I went in to grab a slice of pizza while shopping in Cold Spring, but when I walked in I decided to go for the Meat Ravioli instead. When the gentleman came to tell me they were very sorry but had run out, I chose the Chicken Scarpariello pizza instead. I have never been so happy to be disappointed! This pizza was absolutely amazing. It was so good, one of my friends (even though he had just had a huge slice already) had to go back and grab the Chicken Scarpariello slice too! I can't wait to go back and take my son and husband! I am so very pleased not only with the food but the service as well!
