We got the strawberry blonde without the caramel sauce. This ice cream is very good. I love the fact that they scoop the ice cream and then mix in the different toppings. Coldstone was creamery was really good. The variety of options is what stands out the most to me. I kept it light with two flavors of ice cream and two toppings. It's so many variations you could go with though. I'll certainly be back. It's small but it's in a nice area so it would nice to take the kids out or even a little date. I come here ever once in a while when my bf and I have a sweet tooth and everytime we come back we think maybe this time it will be better .....nope. We always come in around 9pm and it's always the same two workers. My bf always orders the same thing and every time they mess it up some how. This time there was no brownie in his chocolate devotion and it was melting as they gave it to him. When after finally pushing through all the ice cream he told them there was no brownie the chick rolled her eyes gave him the brownie and said here is your extra brownie. Terrible customer service. They paid zero attention to me and after asking me they just through my sherbert in the center and did not mash it up there was a chunk a full piece of yellow cake. Wow, I remember when Cold Stone Creamery became the newest sensation. Did you hear? They take a slab of ice cream and put in on a cold stone, mix-in another flavor, choose other mix-ins and with two spackle-like spoons they begin mixing everything together. It makes for another extra special treat. Before it was just ice cream, but now it's ICE CREAM! I am glad that there are still some that survived the fad phase. I mostly come for gift cards, but I've ordered to enjoy a special treat, too. They's still got it, but there are so many new ice cream places and build-your-own yogurt places now that I don't come here as often anymore. They even sell ice cream cakes, too, which are far to yummy to pass up. I went to cold stone on Friday with my boyfriend. As expected on a Friday, it was busy and we waited in line for 10 minutes. When it was our turn and we were next in line, the worker skipped over us and served the couple behind us. We had to wait until the people behind us order was already more than half way complete for someone else to come out of the back and take our order. My boyfriend and I are an inter racial couple, and we have plenty of experience with people treating us differently in public because I am white and he is black. But for this woman to completely refuse to serve us and serve the couple behind us after we have waited for 10 minutes is absolutely unacceptable. We are paying customers and were nothing but kind and respectful as we waited for our ice cream. I called the manager a couple days later to address the issue, and she was extremely dismissive saying that the woman was still in training. If she had messed up our order, I would completely understand given the fact that she is new. However, that is not an excuse for the way we were treated. Despite how much we love cold stone ice cream, we will never be coming back. read more

What does one crave for when it is super hot outside? Something cold! We had a choice between snowcones, frozen yogurt or .....ice cream! The decision to go for something rich and creamy ended on a not-up-to-par/disappointed note. When we drove up to park in front of the store, we notice a line of people inside already. Yay! Great minds think alike, right? Once inside, we were soooo excited to try one or two of their new collection of mix-in signatures. Maybe due to the amount of customers waiting, they only let us try one sample each, before asking us to make a decision. That is ok, I understand. Cake Batter Drumstick Delight it is! Obviously, I didn't expect our cup to look identical to the perfectly and precisely designed market photo they had plaster all over their display. My brother's "gotta have it" SIGNATURE cup....was so disappointed, that I changed my mind and went home empty handed instead. We had no hints of caramel what's so ever; and could not find a single piece of the greatly anticipated Nestlè drumstick pieces. Maybe they forgot? I love butterscotch crunchy bits, so that would be the only highlight; and plenty of cookie dough to somewhat satisfy his tastebuds. Maybe it was just a super busy day for them, but the 3 employees looked so unhappy to be there. They had a system going for them that got people in and out, quite quickly: two young ladies were ice cream mixologists and one lady manned the cash register. I was upset that they didn't have any brownies out on display for purchases; and with the crazy line, I was afraid to ask. It is clear that the store has poor management and leadership of team members. My husband and I went for ice cream about 5 days after power was restored in Baton Rouge, following Hurricane Ida. The store was open and serving half melted, bad tasting ice cream. First, we were not notified of a limited menu and we were not able to order what we desired after standing in a long line. After taking a bite of his ice cream, my husband threw his away and the employee noted to us, "it's ok, we know that it's nasty." Every time I come here, regardless of empty or packed house, they always miss an ingredient when mixing my creation (this time the big ol brownie!). Why do I come back you ask? The wait was ridiculous!!! On a busy Friday night (not officially Summer yet but you couldn't tell by the heat) the management totally misappropriated the need of more workforce. At this point, why is this place even still open ? They NEVER have any waffle cones, the staff members are lazy and slow paced, never have all of the ice cream options, and the bathroom had dish soap in the hand dispensers. This is the only cold stone in the area (Baton Rouge) and it is ran as a complete sh*t show. I have called 4 times today and no one has answered the phone because before I drive up there MAYBE they would have some waffle cones today but what else can I expect from this place at this point. Best ice cream EVER. I've read complaints about how slow the employees are. One reason for that is the ice cream is so good the store is usually packed. Also, it's not just scoop and go. Most customers want to add toppings which are blended into the ice cream which takes time. The ice cream is definitely worth waiting for. read more

Every time I come I create my own ice cream, which is cake batter ice cream with graham cracker pie crust and heath bar. The employees are nice and always make sure to mix your ice cream thoroughly so that it is well incorporated.
