I pointed to the giant photo of an ice cream peanut butter cup multiple times. The girl asked again what I wanted. I pointed to a different sign showing the same thing. She said "oh okay!" and made my ice cream. I took an important call and paid and then grabbed my ice cream and asked where the peanut butter and chocolate etc was. Another worker pointed at a piece of Reeses and said that is the chocolate cup mixed in. I said this doesn't even have chocolate ice cream and is absolutely nothing at all what the photo shows. She argued and then said oohhh you wanted THAT and did not apologize, did not offer to remake what I wanted, did not offer a refund or anything to correct her or the other girl's mistake. The best ice cream in NE Ohio, hands down! The ice cream itself is very creamy and flavorful, and when they mix in your favorite embellishments, the taste and texture is 'off the charts' incredible! I had the 'coffee lovers' blend with almonds, toffee, and caramel, and it was SOOO good! As good as, if not better than some of the artisanal ice creams and/or gelatos i've had in France or Italy! Found some old gift cards from years ago, and since I believe this is the only location left in the Cleveland area, we finally made our way there tonight. Ordered two of their 'creations' as they call them, and both of them had stale candy pieces in them. The place is messy and disheveled, and their ice cream coolers are so covered with condensation that you can't see anything inside of them. Both our items were a mess when we got them, with ice cream dripping down and smeared on the sides. Tasty in parts but the stale candy sort of ruined them. read more

Luckily, I'm an awesome girlfriend and I allowed my boyfriend the opportunity to make up for it by taking me out for ice cream instead of saying my goodbyes. So, we ended up at Coldstone, which I've only been to once before a long time ago. The concept is that you choose your flavors, your size, and your add ons and they mix it around on a cold stone (!) for you. They also have ice cream cakes, smoothies, and dessert style ice cream items. I like Coldstone (uh, its fricking ice cream) but I have my preferences. The only mildly unique flavors I noticed were watermelon sorbet and sweet cream. Both were yummy, but the waffle cone was too brittle and not as flavorful as a real, homemade waffle cone you'd find at ma and pa style ice cream shops. I've had ice cream and ice cream cakes from Cold Stone Creamery several times. It's time for my review. On every trip, the service was quick and friendly. Likewise, the ice cream was awesome. They have a lot of flavors of premium ice cream. It's sooo good! In addition to the splendid ice cream, what has really kept me coming back are the ice cream cakes. Since my sister-in-law bought two Cold Stone Creamery cakes in San Juan last year, I have been hooked. I've been trying various kinds of ice cream cakes and every one of them has been terrific. The one I want to try next is the coffee caramel. Can't wait! read more

I'm giving this one star because THE WORKERS DO NOT KEEP TGE ICE CREAM COLD. My ice cream was already melted when served to me and by the time I sat outside to eat it, it was completely melted. this place is awful. it's disgusting. i worked there for a day and never went back. the manager was rude and didn't show me how to do anything. he got mad at me when i didn't know what to do (because he didn't train me) and yelled at me. he was only paying me $7/hour and ir was not worth it. they don't use soap to wash their dishes and just rinse them off. i hate this place, will never eat here, don't recommend eating here. the other employees were nice but i don't know why they still work there. read more

Worst.Experience.Ever. I went here today to treat my kids to ice cream and it put me in the worst mood. It was empty when we walked in and it took forever for anyone to even ask me if we were ready. When I was finally asked I told the guy that I wanted "Dont cry over spilled silk" I said it 5x because I guess he couldn't hear me , then he asked me what kind of ice cream I wanted and what I wanted in it and its an item on the menu that tells you what it comes with. So that was confusing !! He then proceeded to scoop the vegan ice cream with scoops from other dairy ice cream. That would be trouble for anyone allergic to dairy. I am just lactose intolerant , but still. Moving on to the other 3 items I got and every time I gave him another one he asked if "this was the last one" just rude. Go to check out and he doesnt even add lids on the to go cups , so I did that and they didnt snap on as easily as expected. Ice cream was dripping all over the place. The ice cream was ok , there were 2 chunks of peanut butter , and 1/4 piece of banana in my ice cream. And this order was 24$. Ill never go back Ill buy my vegan ice cream from Target and go to honey hut for the kids next time. Never again. read more

I am extremely underwhelmed by this place. First of all, the prices are through the roof. Nearly $6 for a small ice cream that is barely enough for a child. Second of all, the ice cream isn't even that good, for those kinds of prices, I expect the best ice cream I've ever had, but it was far from that. I would much rather patronize a local ice cream shop for half the price and double the portion that actually tastes good. By the time they mix in the topping, it's a melted ice cream mess. Finally, the workers couldn't care less and obviously didn't want to be there. They mumbled when they spoke and were annoyed when I asked them to repeat. This location is unprofessional and unsanitary. I won't be returning. I visited the store to purchase ice cream for my family. There was only one employee in the store. While completing my order he stopped making my order, mid-mixing ingredients to take another order outside to a parked car. He then returns to the counter and continues mixing my ice cream. He never changed his gloves. He used the same gloves that opened the doors and delivered the order to mix my ice cream. I was frustrated but reasoned if the gloves never touch the ice cream I shouldn't worry. There were at least 6 people waiting to order so I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. But then he literally scoops and pour my melted ice cream into the container. Ice cream melted over the container and he continued as if he didn't notice. I asked him if he changed his gloves after touching the doors (maybe he did and I just didn't witness it. This was the last chance of redemption.) and he confirmed he did not. I was so disgusted I told him I couldn't purchase it. He offered no apology, just moved on to the next customer. I left questioning every time I purchased from that establishment. I've experienced poor customer service from them before but now I wonder, have they always been this unsanitary too? read more

I have had much better experiences, they were super slow even scooping, I asked for a "our strawberry blonde" which had strawberry ice cream, strawberries, graham cracker crumbs, caramel, and whipped cream, I ordered without caramel. It was more strawberry ice cream with one fourth of a strawberry and a tiny bit of graham cracker. Bad experience today, people working were obviously all new, but were also not very nice. I am very disappointed in this location. I purchased $60.00 worth ice cream this past Saturday (12/15/18). I ordered multiple toppings. I have since tried the ice cream I purchased only to realize that my request was not honored. The toppings were skimpy (nearly non-existent). This particular location is under new management. The previous owner realized the value of a customer spending that kind of money and prepared their order accordingly. It appears the new owner is dedicated to providing a lesser product for more money. I used to cater to this Cold Stone location because (though expensive) I left with my purchase in hand feeling as though I truly got my monies worth. Although traveling 45 minutes from home I felt the product was worth my time and money. The new owners need to stop skimping when customers are paying hard earned money for their product. Additionally; the staff should wash their hands and wear gloves in between preparing orders and ringing out orders on the cash register. The experience I had at this location was disappointing to say the least. As someone who has grown up loving this company It is very unfortunate what it has become and unfortunately it is the closest location in my city. The staff is uninterested about the customer and almost makes you feel like your suppose to hurry up rather than give yourself time to think when telling them what you want to order. I had a specialty recipe made off the "specials menu" and I did not enjoy it. Humbly and a little embarrassed to ask I hoped to exchange what I was given for something else I'd enjoy to get my money's worth. I would have been fine with even getting a smaller size exchanged with the one originally ordered, but instead I got the manager of the store telling me I'm "wrong" and there ice cream "never gets returned" with a very smug tone as if I was an idiot for asking. Truthfully I would have understood if he had told me no with respect and kindness as a customer who comes in as a regular. Instead I felt unheard and disrespected by the attitude I received from someone who is suppose to set an example, and have common decency for someone spending hard earned money on their product (the manager) . Very unprofessional manager , impersonal staff , poorly made ice cream, and It seems to always melt so quickly which means it's not cold enough. My experience was suppose to be enjoyable.. instead it left a bad taste in my mouth. Quite literally ! They need to do better or they won't be in business too much longer. We ordered a 8x12 create your own cake for today. It was ordered a week ago. Scheduled a time to pick it up and everything. I go up there, and he is on the phone, but trying to blow me off like I have the wrong day. Then he's like hold on, talking to me and on the phone at the same time. Then he said to me, are you sure it's not for tomorrow, are you sure it's for this time? No it's today, yes this time. So, I show him the order on my phone, he is like, no we don't have it, I just asked. I said, why can't you go in the back and see? The person he was talking to on the phone is telling him my cake isn't ready, supposedly?! He said to pick something out. I told him I don't want some pre-made cake give me the money back. Then I thought well...I still need the cake for today!. So, he did let me get 2 smaller pre-made cakes, I don't know if he's still refunding the money or what but, very unprofessional. I don't recommend them and will not order from there again. read more

I love Cold Stone in general, but this location is not too great. Their specialty sundaes always come out sloppy here, and the ice cream is never cold enough, so it's always melty and runny. The Macedonia/Northfield location was night-and-day better, but unfortunately it closed recently, and the Independence location closed years ago, so this is really the only Cold Stone that's not a super long drive out of the way for people in the Cleveland area. They need to work a little harder at living up to the high standards of the Cold Stone chain. Overall, if I'm craving Cold Stone, I'll still go here, but the other locations were way better, and hopefully this one will improve significantly. read more
