Came here on a Sunday at 7:00 PM took an hour to be serviced by the staff. Staff was extremely slow, poor hygiene with hair exposed where you can visibly see dandruff on servers shoulders while making ice cream. No cap or hair net in sight. All the servers had ear pods in one ear and would ask twice what orders were due to not paying attention the first time. The server who took my order made one ice cream and walked away a considerable amount of time without any communication to make my second part of my order. This obviously made me question and ask another server if he was completing my order. One server walk to the trash can to throw papers away didn't make the bin and dropped the papers on the floor looked at the papers and shrugged her shoulders and walked away. The hygiene in this location is poor and for a food service location unacceptable. Never coming here again. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Love Coldstone! Always have and always will, but this location can improve its customer service. We went on a Friday afternoon, and it wasn't packed, yet it took forever to get our ice creams. The workers were not in sight and when they did come out, they proceeded to help others in front of us. One thing that made the waiting worthwhile was the yummy smell in the store. Our ice creams were creamy, rich and absolutely delicious. The Chocoloate Devotion is by far my favorite. I Iike the fact they are generous with the ingredients/toppings- I think this makes a huge difference. I would definitely say they can improve in being more efficient. I couldn't suppress a grin when I received an email about a new Cold Stone grand opening in Doral. Just the evening before, a friend from L.A. had commented that he was surprised we still have Cold Stone and Yogurtland here, because they had mostly closed down in L.A. What's in now is ice cream rolls, which I told him will probably make it to S Florida in 10 years. After all, many of us are just being introduced to nitrogen ice cream and shaved snow. The strip mall is brand new, with most stores still under construction, promising pizza, hamburgers and other treats soon to come. The staff was friendly, happily gave me taste samples and adding her suggestion on the different flavors. She also offered a coupon for my next visit. Well, when radio was invented, people predicted the demise of newspaper. When television appeared, we were certain radio and newspaper would go the way of dinosaurs. Not very good. Place has a spoiled milk smell. The ice cream always looks melted when they serve it and I just recently visited with family members and the waffle cup was old and soggy and when we asked the staff if they could make a fresh one they were hesitant and giving us excuses that they were all made for the day and that they won't make anymore. However one employee did come up and tell the other one that there actually was a box with waffles in the front underneath the counter and ended up giving us one of those which was night and day different. Really bad customer service but I mean this is what happens when you have teenagers running your business with no owner or actual experienced manager guidance. As far as the other ice cream, my cookie dough (actual cookie) with cake batter ice cream was horrible. The cookie they used to mash up was old and grainy and my ice cream tasted like cake batter with sand poured into it. Just horrible. The manager or what seemed to be the manager was the one serving our ice creams and not only did he not know what the signature creation I ordered was supposed to have in it but he also didnt put one of the mix ins I requested in another ice cream. Horrible experience at this cold stone. The manager there has a terrible attitude. We came and got in the line when it was our turn the manager was going to take care of us. She started on one ice cream and told us to move to the side so that the other worker could work on the other group. Mind you we are a group of 6 so it is is faster for both workers to work on our group. I'm with my kids. I ask her where do I move. She took this as attitude and got agitated with me and started screaming at me I front of my children. She said she wasn't going to take us and slammed the ice cream and told us to leave. The other server started screaming at us to leave as well. She told us to leave and threatened to call the police. We were treated like garbage by her and her employees. It was the first time I've been treated like this at a cold stone. It was a horrible experience and I will not be returning to that cold stone. read more

I used to work out a ton when I lived in Doral. Even though I went religiously to the gym, I was by far the ugliest person in that gym and definitely the most out of shape. I didn't grow up in Miami and I think people there are just born hotter than most places and start to work out at age 2. I eventually gave up because I'm really lazy. But my fat guy solace was discovering Cold Stone for the first time in Doral. The ice cream was amazing and it didn't melt right away! And they didn't offer generic copycat toppings. They had the actual gummy bears and real mini candy bars. I undid two years of disciplined working out in only a couple of months at this Cold Stone. I was leaving Miami soon anyways and moving to a place where everyone (except me) was crazy hot and in shape. My primary care doctor probably would have preferred if I stayed in the gym of the impossibly hot citizens of Doral but I would make that Fatman choice again every single time.
