She couldn't even give me a full scoop of ice cream she gave me a half of a hollow scoop & folded it over to make it look larger. When I asked her if she could give me a full scoop, she said she would have to charge me for a regular size. Then while paying, I asked her why she charged me that amount & if the prices went up, she was rude, sarcastic and couldn't answer my question regarding prices, while my daughter was standing right next to me. She then proceeded to tell us Goodbye, several times. I visited this Cold Stone about a month ago & paid $3.69 for the same Kiddie Cup ice cream for my daughter. I will never visit this Cold Stone again and be targeted and over charged & disrespected by a General Manager who feels as if she needs to overcharge customers so she can Compensate for the customers she she has Dismissed or Run off. After my incident, I called another Cold Stone Creamery and the girl who answered advised that a Kiddy Cup was $3.99 before taxes. Nothing better than nice, cold, creamy Ice Cream. I love coming to Coldstone and the ice cream that they offer. My special favorite is the Mint Mint Chocolate Chip off of the signature menu. I love mint ice cream the most and it doesn't hurt to add a little bit of chocolate and brownie. The location is similar to others, but the biggest pro was that there available chairs for me and my girlfriend to stay and enjoy our ice cream. Usually there isn't too much room in Coldstone and they have to wait for the limited chairs to be disposed. AWFUL! I've been coming to this Coldstone for many years exclusively for birthday cakes. Service is always spotty, sometimes good and sometimes bad. I tend to walk in during slow hours so wait time shouldn't take long right? WRONG. Staff is always in the back somewhere and I always have to shout out for someone to help me with a cake. When asked to write out a name on a cake, they always take it to the back and take 5-10 minutes to write down a quick happy birthday. Last time I was there, I ordered a Cookie Dough ice cream cake. Being the only one in line, I didn't expect to wait 15 minutes for them to write happy birthday on my cake. I got home only to find that the cake I ordered was a Cookie & Cream cake underneath the frosting. I went back to Coldstone and without an apology, the "manager" said "Well, what do you want me to do about that?". They were polite and knowledgeable about the job. They also served the right portion for every ice cream size. When it was almost our turn, a new girl arrived; maybe she was on her break. The girl is 5.3" in height and brunette. When she was attending us, I asked her how she calculated the right portion for each ice cream size, and she said this is done by appreciation. After she attended us, I asked for her name, and She said, "My name is Elizabeth." Going for Cold Stone Creamery for years not makes me an expert in sizes or portions, but I know she gave us around 60% of what we always get when coming to cold stone (others locations). She served us less than we were supposed to get, and even though she didn't give us the right portion, she threw away least than two ounces of ice cream. My wife and I look each other amazed at what was happening( It was not correct). We also had the opportunity to compare the other attendant portions by size, and Elizabeth was always low in the portions. I advise you to go to another location because this experience was miserable and unpleasant. This girl has to be trained again and gain the level of appreciation that she needs to serve what we paid. Coldstone is great, especially when your trying to kill a sweet tooth! Unfortunately the service was not good. I'll simply say, when you see other employees (2 of 3) look around to see where the 3rd employee is, you know it sucks for them. Employee "P" hands off an Uber order and goes straight to the back to do "stuff", I imagine. When they ask for help, she reminds them that her shift ends in 10 mins. My review is going to be mostly based on the ice cream itself. I love the texture of cold stone ice cream. The variety of options for toppings and the texture it creates is absolutely devouring. This Cold Stone in particular was in the past very friendly. Unfortunately during the day they only have one person working and they're busy, barely get to say hello and he/she is backed up in orders. Its unfortunate because the product is amazing in my opinion therefore it sell itself. However, when that kind of environment becomes the norm eventually people just stop going because it isn't fun anymore. If you want good ice cream, definitely go just eat it else where. read more
