I have never been out in Heritage Trace as late as 9 o'clock, I'm normally wrapped up on my blankets like a burrito and snoozing. However, when a couple of friends ask for a double date, I say heck yea! This visit was a continuation of our double date adventures, very fun! When we entered the Creamery there weren't too many people, but by the time we received our ice cream orders it was packed! We decided to step outside to enjoy our desserts, there's plenty of space out there and it was quite a lovely evening. We ordered from here through door dash since we are so close. The cups where very full which was awesome. I also love that they included the waffle bowls separate so your waffle bowl stays crisp and you add the ice cream yourself. They included the proper amount of toppings. The only negative was the apple pie one they used frozen apple slices and they were still hard as a rock when the ice cream arrived and my wife could not really enjoy it properly. read more

Cold stone I really wanted to love you, but you've disappointed me terribly. I used to love going to Cold stone back in the day, so I figured I would take my kids in for a quick fun treat. The employees were very friendly and that's why I couldn't give this location a 1. Service matters and they were very nice. The quality of the ice cream is not what it once was, but that's not my biggest complaint. My biggest complaint is that this place has a cute and very inviting bucket sitting on the counter with spoons in it; the bucket doesn't say "dirty spoons, or trash", it has a cute saying about liking ice cream. For someone that doesn't frequent here, it's easy to mistake these for clean spoons. Why in the world would anyone think it's a good idea to put a bucket full of dirty spoons right in the customers face and not label them as dirty spoons. This is not safe and really very disgusting. This dirty spoon bucket needs to be labeled properly! My kids thought the Oreo overload was good but not much better than the ice cream bars I buy from Kroger. The small ice cream was $6.59. For $6.59 a pop it should be WAY better than store bought ice cream. I also don't like how the checkout screen asks you how much tip you want to leave, tip...my first tip is clearly label your spoon bucket. I did leave a tip but they didn't do anything out of the ordinary to earn it, but they were nice. Cold stone I won't be seeing you again! Sadly the worst ice cream ever. We came in at 8:30pm and it wasn't busy at all. All the workers were in the back on their phones. All of the ice cream looked like it was melted a bit and they had nothing in their fridges. The store itself was so hot inside. Not sure if they had AC issues or not but they should let people know not to spend money on watery ice cream. How do 4 small scoops of ice cream (1 in a tiny cup and the other 3 in a regular size waffle cup) cost nearly $18? Blue Bell cost way less, allowing that I must scoop it myself. The woman behind the counter had her back to us from the moment we walked in, could not figure what she kept looking at on the wall for so long. Finally we spoke out to get her attention, a couple of minutes had elapsed, but she was not turning around, we were kind of concerned for her well-being. Still she paused a while before turning around to face us. We placed our order, and she started working on it. My wife and I both feel she deliberately made the scoops small, like really, really small. She kept rolling them until they were actually smaller than when she started! She never asks us about mix-ins, which we thought was the whole concept behind Cold Stone. My wife asks for some sprinkles, the woman added the tiniest partial spoonful. My wife meekly asks for some more sprinkles. The woman complied by adding the rest of the original spoonful. We paid our ridiculous price, said thank you, and left. The store could use some new help with better training and some cleaning around the counter base. Cannot recommend this store and will not be going back. My wife and I had a very good experience at Cold Stone Creamery. We haven't been to one of these in years so we were excited about going back. The ice cream is quite good and the portion sizes are appropriate for the cost. The most unique thing about this particular location (at least when we went) was when you chose your ice cream(s) it was balled up and literally thrown across to someone waiting to smash it up with your toppings. Kinda awesome. I'm not going to lie, I was secretly hoping to see at least 1 in 5 drop...but they didn't drop any. Time to start a company softball league? Another cute addition was when you provided a tip, the cashier yelled 'tip tip' and everyone yelled 'hurray!'. While it was probably embarrassing for the people to have to say that, it weirdly made me feel good. SO...keep it up! The reason why I took 1 star off was due to the cleanliness. The food here is good. We have ordered two ice cream cakes in the past three weeks and both were excellent. But customer interaction makes a big impression at a store designed to maximize interaction. There were five "boys" working the counter. They would be men, but not one will look a customer in the eye if t it's not a 16 yr old girl. They all wore pissy looks like daddy made them get a job to help pay for their Audi. I just left Cold Stone and I have to say. It was pretty dirty. We couldn't sit down because the tables were very dirty, the women's bathroom wasn't working and I had to use the men's which would be fine if someone cleaned. No soap, and no seat covers. All this would be slightly understandable if they didn't have enough staff but they did, 4 to be exact. The only one that was trying to keep up was Matt. This place has delicious ice cream, when they actually have it, but management is horrible. Came in with my daughter to get a Barbie ice cream but they're out of the cotton candy ice cream. Disappointed daughter but hey we'll try something else but can't get that either because they're also out of whipped cream. As a last resort we decide to just get a shake but are then told they're out of milk too. Frustrated we just leave without anything, pretty sure they would have been out of whatever we asked them for next anyway.
