If it weren't for the unpleasant organization and uncleanliness of the store itself the bathroom is ABISMAL. It is always out of order, the smell of cream and chocolate mixed with genuine Shit and diarrhea, it almost smelled like horse manure? The entire place just gives there will be poop particles in your ice cream? honestly never go here, don't eat here, don't drink here. The back looks DISGUSTING and the front is WORSE. Who knows what's going on behind the scenes. Overall disgusting. The service is just awful, everyone looks disinterested as if their fucking bathroom isn't overflowing with hogwash and bull. We went in today to try their limited time Dubai chocolate ice cream. It was actually really good. Me and one of my daughters got the Dubai chocolate, my other daughter got a vanilla Will sprinkles and my other daughter got the pineapple sorbet with whipped cream. Our cravings got the best of us. We all ordered more than we should a large instead of a small. Ice cream was very rich and the waffle cones we got were really fresh and full of flavor. Almost had a hint of cinnamon, in my opinion. The place was clean with plenry of places to sit. It was a cold and windy evening so not a lot of people destined for ice cream, except for us! Very disappointed with the service from Layla. The store was not busy, and after waiting our turn, we politely asked if she could write "Happy Birthday"on a cake we were purchasing. She refused, saying she was too busy, even though there were barely any customers. Her attitude was rude and unprofessional. Customer service should reflect kindness and basic courtesy, especially for something as special as a child's birthday. read more

I ordered a kids size and it was literally 3 bites and less than half the cup how he served me on top of that i had to ask not to mix it because he didn't bother to clean the slabs and was gonna mix it into a previous mocha flavor . Great IceCream and Great service. i give it a 3 because they haven't reopened their bathroom to customers in a whole year. This is ridiculous for an indoor sit down ice cream shop. I frequent Cold Stone all across Northern California and the only locations that don't have bathrooms are in large destination malls. In locations like Dublin, Pleasanton, Monterey, Vacaville and Fremont they all had indoor seating and bathrooms. Gilroy has a bathroom, they just won't reopen it. I wonder what the City of Gilroy's or County's restaurant code is for this type of establishment. I guess I should look into that and see if they are violating the code and I should report it. The reason it bothers me is I was excited when the store opened.because it location is in the middle of my sometimes long commute and it is where the electric car charging ports are for Electrify America. In other words, it is in a perfect location for a pit stop and quick ice cream snack. read more

i come here multiple times a week & all the employees know me. they're all so kind & pleasant to talk to. they all always go out of their way to say hi to me even when it's busy & they are helping a different customer. i always feel the love when i come in & the customer service & quality of ice cream is top tier. i'll never go to a different location because the employees here are so amazing. thank you guys for being great! love, the crazy lady who gets 2 triple pints read more

Finally Cold Stone is back in Gilroy! had been going to SJ or Salinas for our fix so it's amazing to see it back here. Have been there 3 times since opening and every time has been great! Everyone is friendly and welcoming. From the very first time we have gone we got help from an employee named Jason and let me just say my boy understands the assignment! The atmosphere in the store is dull the teen employees did not greet us seem like they don't want to be here. they talked with low monotone voices. This was my family's first experience coming to a cold stone not an experience I wanted them to get. The tables are dirty. And the music is louder than the employees. Super happy to have one here in Gilroy. We usually have to make a trip to Salinas or SJ if we're craving it. I hope to see the new staff have more training and consistency in the future. I'm sure that with time the team will be amazing at confecting the best ice cream treats! Went in today and our orders were lacking consistency in presentation and amount of toppings. My family and I enjoyed everything very much because we were super excited to see that they were open. The service was great! We were greeted with smiles and they were very happy to take our orders! Justin was rude and I had to walk out without placing an order. I was next in line and he wouldn't acknowledge me when I was trying to place my order.
