It's is 12:50 Wednesday afternoon. I came in a hot mess. Took forever to order my drink, asked for the wrong milk by mistake, needed a new coffee and then spilled my entire coffee outside the door. I enjoy Peet's very much. The coffee is good, I like that they have the ripple milk option. I hope they also keep the ube dream top as an option. I have always had friendly service. The inside is always pretty clean and plenty of seating. The only issue I have had is there are a couple times that my daughter has ordered her drink with the boba and twice they forgot to add the boba which isn't good because it costs extra. The first time my daughter didn't tell me so I wasn't able to correct it. The second time she told me I went inside and had them add it. I think they just need to be more careful and add the items that the customer pays for because some people are too embarrassed to ask for a correction. read more

I walked into this particular Peet's Coffee shop because I swear I had a gift certificate, but as I walked up to pay, turns out, I couldn't find it. Oh well! I was pleasantly surprised to see they had impossible plant base meat as a breakfast sandwich option and I ordered one of those sandwiches! It was delicious! I also ordered a latte with the plant milk. I've only had that at sprouts, and I've never had it in a coffee shop, so I was excited to try it in a steamed version with my latte! The barista I spoke to was incredibly pleasant and sweet since she had to wait for me to look for my gift card, which I couldn't find in my purse. Lol. Withdraw, I would say from this particular café was that as the sun was rising up, it was completely bright in one corner of the coffee shop, where I couldn't see anything! I actually felt bad for the barista working in that condition as well as the other customers that potentially were walking up to the counter and Crashed into one another because of the bright sunlight! Walked in to Peet's Madrone village. 5 /9/26 around 5:50pm, seemed like Barista, Men and Women at the front had a problem with our persona , after waiting patiently for like 5 min , when they didn't even have other customers Waiting , Didn't want to take our order, or any greetings .After 2 young kids walked in took their order not ours , Totally good! they're kids , again Baristas ignored us, Then Finally "manager " at that time asked if we had been helped. very unprofessional staff . Lady made a comment that she hadn't noticed us , barista men " laughed thinking we didn't understand English judging by the skin color. Not only discriminated us but made Fun . Little late getting the cafe set up, chairs still on the table and light staff on staff. The restaurant was clean, cleaner than Starbucks for sure, and the pasty case was full and inviting. I ordered a chorizo flatbread and he told me it was now in a burrito. Worse chorizo burrito, so disappointing. Bring back the Flatbread. Oh well, another cost savings flop. I used to always go to this place since it's otw to my work and I like Peet's coffee. But there are couple different instances where I could feel and see lack of good customer service. First was - I ordered large herbal tea and when I was drinking it later it didn't taste right. I found out that they only put 1 tea bag instead of 2. I came back later that day and the guy told me I could either call the customer service or just give me 1 tea bag. Like wow, he literally just handed me a tea bag! Lol I wanted them to make it right and give me another cup of tea (didn't have to be with 2 bags but 1 tea bag that's missing in my original order is okay) but didn't happen which I was surprised abt because I've been to a lot of good coffee shops and they willingly make your order right esp it's their fault. I just took the tea bag and didn't say anything more because I already felt no customer service with how the guy handled it. Didn't even apologize or ask me if I wanted another cup of tea. (I wasn't feeling well that day so I opted to tea) Second instance was - I ordered my coffee before I started driving which was 25 minutes before I get to pick up my order. I work in healthcare and have a long commute which is over an hour drive, that's why I needed my caffeine because it's as early as 5am. So 25 minutes later I got there and my order wasn't ready so I was patiently waiting. But then all these other people who just went in line to order were already getting all their orders, so I asked them. At first I told the lady (2 ladies working) and they were not very helpful but later told me they just received my order. I explained to them that I put in the order over 25 min ago and then a guy stepped in (he's the same guy who doesn't have good customer service and just handed me 1 tea bag). The ladies working there were also sarcastic. Looked at you like they're not running a business. They're just there to get paychecks and choose who they wanna be nice to. I felt alien to be honest. And when that same guy (I think he's the manager) stepped in to talk to me instead abt my order, I expressed my disappointment and told him I couldn't wait much longer because I have a long commute and it was already over 25 min since I put in my order. Again he was not apologetic and just said that the computer had a problem. He just didn't care at all. No customer service! I would give no stars if I could. From then on, I decided to just make my own coffee at home or tea when I have no time. That's how I felt abt their disgusting service! This place has curb appeal. Love the area it's located. And I was just trying to do something different other than getting my normal Starbucks. I've never been much of a pumpkin spiced coffee person, but I thought today I'd give it a try and I'm glad that I did. I asked the gentleman if I can get something a little bit less sweet than normal because that's how I prefer it. He gave me the option of adding just two pumps rather than four pumps and this pumpkin latte is absolutely perfect now. This is the first time I've actually enjoyed a pumpkin latte so now I know exactly how to order it and exactly where I can get it from. The service is always top notch, they have a large building with lots of open seating and outlets if you need to do work or charge your phone or laptop. But seriously, how hard is it for the barista to add in the jelly that probably costs .10c?? The mistake was on their part. Plus all the drinks are overpriced anyway. Ordered coffee and they were out of there bold roast and were told the only choices were decaf and their mild roast, which, when I asked how old the mild was, an assistant employee replied 1hour old. I asked the employee attending to us if a fresh pot could be made. Of course they complied, but only after I asked. I was informed they would be closing soon, in an hour; which was well more than an hour. Very interesting to observe the employee seemed distracted with other duties and not at all interested in customer service and selling the very products that provides a job to him. Well I'm all about coffee, but I wanted something non-caffeine, and decided to still go to Peet's! My friend and I stopped by in the evening, my friend got the caramel latte, which was pretty good. I got the matcha latte. I love how your drink just tastes great at Peet's! They really listen and make it just the way you like it. I did go there around closing time, so it wasn't as busy as it would be usually! The staff is very sweet and even suggested a drink for next time! Stopped at this Peet's in my travels, I ordered a blended ice coffee, the person at the register told me they don't sell that. It's on the menu, all Peet's sell it. I showed her on the menu behind her. She told me they were out. It's coffee, blended with ice and whip cream. (It was 7:30am) you're out of coffee? Really!! I told her that it was impossible that they were out and check with someone else. Sure enough they were not out. I find it strange people who work there do not know what's on the menu it was in big bold letters and told they were out of coffee and ice (blended ice coffee) I find it hard to believe they did not have this, when I am sure people order this all the time. I would not go back to this location clearly there is training or communication problems with knowing What the place serves, that you work at. Peet's Coffee is often underrated and understated in the competitive coffee industry here in CA; while other competitors can be overrated and overstated and even overpriced with their mediocre coffee! This location is absolutely perfect for Morgan Hill. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are so helpful and inviting. The prices here for coffee are much more affordable than Sbucks. And their medium roast and light roast coffees so taste much than Sbucks coffees. This location just opened up their entire store foyer to customers, but not (yet) for dining and lounging-in. I come here once a week when I'm passing through Morgan Hill to get great coffee and they never let me down. If you ever come to this Peet's; you won't be disappointed. read more

I figured that I would give this place another shot since the last time we had it we had to throw our drinks away because the whip cream was rancid. So it ruined the whole drink. So today you got a pumpkin latte and a peach berry scone because the girl said it was really good. The scone was not good at all, it wasn't sweet and it was super super dry. The coffee drink, I asked for whipped cream from the girl who made it and she got an attitude saying that it's not free, that I should've told that person at the register that I wanted whip cream. I don't come here often.... I haven't came here in years so how am I supposed to know that a drink doesn't come with whip cream. I said seriously? Another girl said its included at Starbucks. I said yeah and you can get a free pup cup too. Ridiculous that we have to pay extra for whip cream... Talk about greedy I definitely won't come back. I burned my tongue so bad on one of the drinks that it made my tongue start bleeding the next day. And no I didnt drink it right away. I waited a good amount time before having it but it still very hot. It has really uncomfortable since then to eat or drink anything. First of all, let me start by saying... I love Peets Customer Service! There was an outage last week with the Service company who partners with Peets and my card hot $108.95 taken out of it! Right away, I called and the rep Stephanie apologized for the global issue and credited me back the amounts that were in error removed. For my troubles, she even credited my order today at the Cochrane location. Also, they made one of my drinks with caffeine since the app didn't say how to order decaf, so they remade it with decaf and still let me keep the drink! Thanks Peets! To you and your staff.
