Came here with Jaric and spent a little over $24 on 2 "gotta have it" sized ice cream spinrkled waffle bowls. Pricey, I know. And ice cream was just okay. Jaric said that his cookie dough flavor barely had any cookie dough, and my coffee flavored ice cream had such a light taste of coffee in it. Not worth the price at all. However! I will say that the staff here are super duper sweet, if not the ice cream. Only staff that asked me if I was in military to then qualify for a discount. I do not recall a time when any other staff at any other place ever asked me that offjump. A bit cramped and not many selections either...from ice cream to cake flavors from what I remember at other locations. Horrible experience with a hostile employee. Ive been in this store maybe 3-4 times, total, with no previous problems. This last time i went in one of the women started screaming at me that i had been banned from the store twice before. I had no idea what she was talking about as I have only been to the store a few times but before I could ask for further info she fled to the back of the store. Needless to say this has made me more hostile to this location than any ordering mistake would have as I am clearly unwelcome there. I take that by extension all my friends, family and acquaintances and anyone else who cares to listen are also unwelcome. read more

They messed up my cake order! I ordered a "cookies and cream extreme" cake because it is my husband's favorite, and got a "cookies and creamery" cake instead. This wasn't what I ordered. I'm very disappointed. We couldn't tell it wasn't the right cake until we cut into it. Coldstone is a favorite of mine, their ice cream is so decadent. You can't go wrong with the premade ice creams and if you're feeling creative the build your owns are awesome too! The service is always awesome but I do miss when they would sing for tips! The wait in the summers can be long but it's generally manageable and the employees work quickly and efficiently. It's nice to see the employees having fun and being friends, it's a good job for the youth here! My little brother actually used to work for cold stone and it was always so fun to visit him at work! Extremely disappointed in their cake ordering online. I ordered a cake 2 days ago and today was the pick up day. I get there and one of the workers looks in the freezer, talks to a coworker and they don't have the cake. They said "they were waiting for me to come in and so they could tell me that they were out." I said it would have been nice to have received a call because this was for a birthday party tomorrow. I did give them my contact info on the online order obviously, so they could have called... So I asked to be refunded, and they could not do this because the manager wasn't there. I then had to frantically call around to find a replacement. TLDR: Beware if the manager isn't there they cannot refund anything apparently. Even though it's cold outside I went here on a Saturday and had me a holiday ice cream sundae . POW this thing was unbelievable gave Me quite a rush. Only wish I got a picture of it. Today is my birthday! My hubby thought it would be great to order me an ice cream cake. I love chocolate and peanut butter cup perfection. When he placed the order yesterday he was informed that they were out of the chocolate cake. There was red velvet or yellow. He choose red velvet not realizing that I actually do not like red velvet at all. When he asked me today which flavor I would choose I said "yellow of course....I do not like red velvet!" He tried to call to have the order changed. He was informed that the cake had already been made and he said "that's ok....No worries". He went in and picked up the cake tonight. Well where do I begin, I go to the Cold stone Creamery in Hawks Prairie at least 2-3 times a week. I order a Like it, Love it and a 32oz every time and every time I order it they mess it up. The service is terrible, the employees have the worst attitude and my ice cream is always melted. They never put the extras in my order that I pay for and then my orders are always messy and melted. Tonight (2/6) we happened to be in town and wanted to get our daughter ice cream, well we almost didn't go in because their open sign was off and it looked like they were cleaning. It was 6:30, the information on the door said they close at 9:30. When we walked in and asked if they were open because their sign was off. They were snickering to each other because they had purposefully turned the signed off. They must have not wanted to do their job. It's really uncomfortable being served by someone who you know doesn't want you in there. If I owned/managed this location I'd want to know that my employees were turning the open sign off and stopping business. Ice cream is always good though! read more

Be wary of ordering online for pick up or DoorDash delivery. Most times the order is wrong or the main component ingredients are missing. Including extras add ins. Paying good money for premium ice cream and jipped in the end almost every time. Best to go in person to be sure you are receiving what you pay for. read more

I come for the ice cream and that's pretty much it. They get slammed and the ladies get tired real fast. I'm not a fan of the manager here. My husband asked for extra fudge and she charged him .50 cents but didn't tell him til after she gave it to him and he couldn't say forget it at that point. This place seems to have excellent customer service. I saw a girl mess up someone's order and she just redid the order. The customer was pretty rough. Ice cream is ice cream. Just take it. But the young gal was nice enough to have helped her out. This left a positive impression of this place in my mind. Hopefully we will get to return again soon. We had the misfortune to purchase ice cream for our great-grandsons this past Sunday. The great tasting ice cream did nothing to make the service better. We waited at least 10 minutes to be greeted and for anybody to take our order. There was a young lady working in the back making ice cream cakes, 2 workers scrubbing walls and 2 workers allegedly serving customers. It took them 10 minutes to serve up one order of ice cream. When it was our turn, finally, only 1 was helping. My husband walked out in disgust because of the poor quality of service. As many others have stated: not friendly, not helpful and they obviously need a LOT more training. I have found 2 places in Olympia that we will try but will not return to this site. I always get the "Love It," judge me for all you want but I will finish it even if it takes two hours and by then it's a puddle in your cup. Anyways, the customer service is on point! You walk through the door and they welcome you. You ask a question, they answer it with a suggestion. You want more of something, they will give you more. You tip them, they'll sing for you. The last time I visited I ordered the mint chocolate chip ice cream and it wasn't over-minty, and not too chippy.
