I have never been treated so disrespectfully by a cashier in my life. I was there on the evening of June 28 and got a milkshake that was very runny, all "milk" and no "shake". When I asked for a refund, the employee kept getting "cute". Trying to talk me out of a refund and to choose a different flavor. When I took that option she told me it wasn't possible. I again asked for a refund, she still kept trying to get me to not do the refund? It was bizarre. I insisted she refund me, then she went to talk to someone. Then lingered talking to a different employee, then came back to the counter acting like she couldn't do a thing for me. Another employee came and took two seconds and had my refund processed. Seriously the most ignorant employee I have ever dealt with, her dismissive attitude was uncalled for, the whole experience was so strange. The food was okay. Went through drive through for a quick meal and ended up in the drive through for almost 25 min because they couldn't get our order right. When we tried to correct them, they got frustrated with us. We ordered a meal and only got the burger. When we asked about it, they said "no, that's not what you told me and I obviously didn't hear that so you didn't get it". The team was rude when we inquired about it. I ordered the bacon, two cheese deluxe combo through Door Dash. I paid extra for a large drink and another extra for a large blizzard on top of three other large blizzard orders. All the blizzards were fine, but there was no drink, delivered and my custom order of the burger with no mayo, no pickles and no onions were ignored. I got my burger with everything in it and no soda. The food is good but it's not a good idea to order here to go or order through DoorDash. You're just going to be disappointed. We usually order ahead of time on the app before we come here, but occasionally we like to sit inside. Most of the time it goes well. However, the last time almost every table we tried to sit at was dirty. One of our burgers was slathered in a ton of mustard inside and outside of the burger and wrapped up. Then my kids order was literally thrown on the table in front of them by the employee. The toast fell out when she did that and the she just responded with "oops". It was so awkward we didn't even want it replaced because the vibes there were completely off that day. This location used to be amazing and everyone was so friendly. The food is always good and well made and they never have gotten an order wrong which you can't say for any other fast food restaurants close to it. (Burger King and McDonald's). Staff is very kind. Only thing is I wish they had a bike rack but I haven't biked there in a while so that could have changed. Overall best fast food in this area read more

I'm going to be rating them down based on poor location, LONG lines at the drive through and the rare order gone wrong. with that out of the way it's DQ... what's not to love. I haven't been inside since about 2019 due to the year known as friday the 13th. their seating area was always clean and well kept. service at the counter was usually faster than the drive up just because of the poor layout of the drive through. read more

Having the special Bacon BBQ one today. Three thumbs up because this place is such a great supporter of local schools. I always buy a NTHS Ram card because of the free blizzard deal. We asked for an old blizzard not on the menu and they happily made it for us. The only downside was that we got up charged. The guy at the window had great customer service and was very kind. They have 13 year olds running g the place. I ordered a banana split and I had to send it back twice because the bananas were mushy and brown but they try to cover it up with the toppings lol!!! My husband and I went through the drive through and specifically asked for no lid on the sundae. When we got to the window and said we asked for no lid can you please take it off the gal literally threw it down for the other gal to take the lid off. I then said to the gal no need to get upset. I am writing this to share on all public sites, to inform the community of a situation that happened with my family last night. My Mr. and I decided to stop in at the Dairy Queen (611 Lilly Rd SE, Olympia, WA 98501) on our way home, to pick up a treat to share with our 6 year old daughter. Instead of a milkshake, as originally planned, we bought a mini blizzard ice cream cake from the freezer section. After arriving back home, we settled in for the evening and I cut him, my daughter and I a piece to eat. All sitting together, eating our slice.. He all of a sudden was disturbed. It caught my attention, so I asked what was wrong? That is when he said, "I just spit out a nail!" I was in shock and disbelief that it truly was a nail and asked, "Are you sure? It was in your cake??" He said, "Yes, I just took a bite and bit into it." I couldn't even wrap my head around it and immediately became very concerned, because our daughter was sitting right next to us, eating a slice from the same cake. Now, I was no longer in shock, but becoming very agitated of the thought that, that could have been my 6 year old that found the nail... That this nail could have punctured the skin inside of her mouth or if she would have swallowed it!!! Mommy is NOT happy with those thoughts and rushed to grab the receipt to call the DQ manager. I called the DQ we had purchased this from and asked to speak with a manager. The man on the other end said he was the manager. I asked him what his name was, he said "Brad". I explained to Brad (as calmly as possible) the situation and what had happened... His first response was to apologize and offer free food. I told him that I wasn't interested in free food, that I was extremely concerned for the safety of my child and the potential of what could have happened. That something needs to be done and someone needs to be aware of this problem. I asked, "How could a nail like this have ended up in an ice cream cake?!" He said that he had no idea and that there shouldn't be any kind of nails in that area of where the cakes are made. After the back and forth with him, he said he would be talking to the Assist Store Manager and having her call me tomorrow, to discuss it further. I continued with, I would bring her the nail to show as well, but make sure she calls me. Well, to no surprise... I did not receive a follow up call. I haven't heard anything from anyone. So, now I am very displeased and letting everyone know. This is extremely unacceptable and something needs to be done. I am upset and very concerned over the safety risks and possible contamination factor of this restaurant, the area in which these cakes are being made and the person/persons involved. Please read this and share to anyone and everyone you know. I want as many people as possible to understand this is unacceptable for my family/friends and I don't want anyone to end up with such a terrifying experience. This man hand me the kids meals.i passed them to my niece and nephew, when I turned back to face the man to get the rest of my food he had his whole arm in my car. Not wanting to make a big deal I just tell myself it's my hair. Me I start with my BURGER. FIRST BITE about a chew and half in I feel something in my bite. It was a hair. From the middle of my burger. I walked in and explain the situation. I asked for a full refund and was denied. And was only refunded for my burger and curds. I spent $41 and some change here after visiting my father at the hospital near by. They didn't offer to remake my food. I wouldn't have ate it but it would have been a good gesture. I pulled up to the drive-thru speaker at 8:58pm. They close at 9:00pm. I sat there and waited and at 9:00pm a female came on the speaker and said they were closed. I stated that I had been there since 8:58pm, when they were still open. She told me that they had been closed for 4 minutes. I told her that was not possible since it was now 9:01pm. Her reply was that their time is different than the time on people's phones and they go by their clocks that are set a few minutes ahead of the time on people's phones. I repeated that I had been in the drive thru since 8:58pm and asked if she was really refusing to take my order for a blizzard and she said yes, we are closed. She was rude and smug about it too, like setting the clocks fast and refusing to serve me was totally fine. I am still in shock. What horrible customer service! In a scene reminiscent of the famous restaurant scene in "5 Easy Pieces", I asked the young thing for milk for my coffee...not very hot in a self-serve thermos...and was told there was artificial creamer. I asked nicely for a little milk. She disappeared into the back and after what seemed way too long, reappeared and said I could buy a small carton of milk. Coffee in a DQ? My grandchildren were having blizzards and I fight the battle of the waistline, so the coffee is self-defense but couple the silliness of the reaction to a dash of milk and the lukewarm nature of the coffee equals this not-so-satisfactory review. GOOD employee's, GOOD service and everything else is 100% good. Just the picture of the Triple Truffle Blizzard is very, very misleading. I never buy high sugar products but the advertisement was GOOD. There are no candies on top and it would not pass the turn it upside down test. I took a picture and will upload. There were candies but they were mostly at the very bottom of the cup. Maybe employee training situation. Just think if the blizzard came out where the employee set 3 pieces of the candy on the top spread out. I know that is not time efficient but that is how they show it in the TV commercial and it was what caught my attention. I NEVER eat bad but if I do, I want to be REAL bad!
