Came here for Veterans Day with Adam and it was nice. Got a free 6oz frozen yogurt, but paid $1.41 leftover because went a bit over. The frozen yogurt was okay. Maybe because I am not the biggest fan of this type of dessert, but I tried the new chocolate raspberry flavor, which was nothing special. Salted caramel was overwhelmingly sweet. I love sweet, but that flavor was too much. The milk cocoa flavor not as yummy as I thought... I loved the toppings and this is the first time that I saw a Menchie's be topped off on everything. Impressive! The service was great! Very kind-hearted staff at the front that walked through how the frozen yogurt purchase process worked. did not make me feel dumb when I asked questions. Was very patient to answer questions and clarify the discount for Veterans Day to me. I liked that there were tables in and out of the shop. Felt roomy, even in the area where you get the frozen yogurt and toppings. Pleasantly surprised! I wish that they had more activities with the Menchie's character line, like coloring pages, black/whiteboards, or games. Came in for their Friday evening special (8p-10p) - $6 for as much frozen yogurt/toppings that will fit in the container. Despite the large amount of people going through the line, the workers were doing great keeping the place clean, toppings bar stocked, and payments processed quickly, Large selection of flavors and even some great sorbet type options (raspberry, pineapple) for those of us who don't like chocolate/vanilla/cake batter varieties. read more

Been coming here for years and it's always great. Today the vanilla tart one had some dark stuff in the tube it dispenses and it got on my friends ice cream and bowl. I helped her notice it and she scooped it out and we didn't tell the guy working because it was so busy. We didn't really mind but it definitely dropped from the machines. I usually only get the vanilla tart but today I got the vanilla tart and the banana mills wafer frozen yogurt, some mango boba, cheesecake, strawberries and sprinkles. I stopped in briefly for a quick Lunch when travelling from Seattle to Olympia and was a welcome break. The place is clean and well stocked albeit a little pricier than other Menchies locations, I believe it was 54c an ounce which is more than the Bay Area, CA where the average wage is higher. Nonetheless I enjoyed my $7 something frozen treat for Lunch. The yogurt is as good as always but this location is handling Covid protocols worse than any other froyo shop we've been in. It wasn't bad enough that the staff would rather talk with their friends than serve customers but they have pre-packed all their toppings so that you can't put them on until after you've paid. Too many of one topping or too little of another, not the freedom or creativity I'm used to from Menchies. Heck, I prefer some toppings UNDER the yogurt. For me, I'll avoid this place until things return to normal. read more

We stopped in here after picking up a few things at the mall. This Menchie's location is great as it's right next to Chipotle so I can hit two birds with one stone. This was my first time going to this Menchie's and I thought the wonderfully bright décor and general flow was nice. Actually with regards to the flow, I think it's kind of small. You circle around the wall of yogurt machines into the toppings station and then to the "sauces" to then make it to the weighing station. If there are more than two people in line, there kind of is a back up and people can't move on to the next station. Even though it was kind of busy when we went, there were still plenty of places to sit and each and be gawked at by the people passing the windows in front of the store. There are quite a few flavors and as many have mentioned there are vegan options from time to time. There weren't any flavors that were just off the wall though that made you think "Whoa....that's new". I've seen more of a selection at Yogurtini in Dupont. The yogurt itself I found to be very sweet. I thought it was because of the sweetness of the toppings I put on, but no...the yogurt was sugary to my taste. The flavors weren't very potent either but I did just get vanilla and caramel. The caramel actually tasted more like coffee. There are more toppings elsewhere as well. I was surprised at the lack of fresh fruit but I did like how the dry toppings were set up so that there was less chance of spilling some into the other containers. The cashier was really friendly though and didn't appear to hate his life working at a froyo shop. I was ecstatic when I checked in and got a 20% off deal on the Yelp app. So about $11 worth of yogurt ended up costing $8. It probably wouldn't have been so much if I hadn't added so many rainbow sprinkles. But, I love my sprinkles though. read more

Great little shop! This is a self-serve frozen yogurt shop where customers dish up their servings with froYo and toppings. Prices are weight based and include toppings. Masks are required and customers are asked to wear the provided food handling gloves. You're not touching any food but you will use the handles on the froYo dispensers. My daughter, her friend and I tried Menchies out a week or so ago. They had an incredible amount of different flavors to try. It was really hard to pick. They give you samples so you can decide which one you want. I thought the employees were super nice and helpful. The place was clean and buzzing with positive energy. Very bright and fun interior with lots of tables to sit at. What impressed me the most was the amount of toppings, especially fresh and healthy fruit choices. The location is clean, bright, and the staff are always friendly. I think I tried all the flavors they had, but the staff didn't mind at all. The atmosphere is laid back, and they play music, but it's not too loud. This is a great place if you like lots of toppings. I love the pineapple dole whip they have- it's like I'm transported back to Hawaii in a cup! I love getting the fresh strawberries and little mochi as toppings. This location is at Capital Mall, right next to Chipotle, so they have ample parking. On Fridays from 9-11 pm, you can fill your entire bowl for $5. I'm not that hard core yet, as my lactose intolerance usually kicks in at the halfway full (or half empty, for you pessimists) mark, but if you love frozen yogurt and can digest milk, check them out on a Friday night! Hands down, this was the most disgusting frozen yogurt outing me and my family experienced! The tables were dirty and hadn't been cleaned for a long time. We sat outside and none of the tables were clean and there was food all over the ground under each table. Our daughter mentioned this to one of the employees and he just shrugged his shoulders and said thanks, but did nothing to correct the sanitary conditions. There were about 4 employees there of which 2 were eating yogurt behind the registers as we lined up to pay. I would think at least one of them would clean up the tables at the time too. Just nasty! I choose to go here, and not one of the growing number of their locally owned competitor locations, for one pretty simple reason: Their frozen yogurt is just that... frozen. The cost is about the same as the competition, the quality similar, and they have a few more toppings. The difference, to me, is all in the machines. The machines here are sparkly new and deliver a rather solid, cohesive, extremely chilled stream of froyo goodness. The machines at their competitors locations almost all seem to have been purchased used, frequently have a broken station, and regularly dispense a melty product. One time my wife and I walked into one of the local competitors stores, took one look at the mess, and walked right out. It reinforced why Menchie's has become our favorite stop for frozen yogurt. The ONLY time I've seen a mess in this place was when we were tailing a gaggle of kids and an employee was following right behind us with a towel. Their yogurts and sorbets taste exactly like what they say (I'm taking their word for it regarding taro.) Their toppings are always stocked, even when they're closing in less than half an hour. Either their product is lighter than normal or they're a tiny bit cheaper because I swear the same amount at other establishments cost a lot more. The only thing missing that I've found elsewhere is whipped cream and various flavored syrups. But by the time I've layered my bowl with all the toppings that caught my eye there's usually no more room anyway. read more

The shop is located next to Chipotle at Capital Mall, and the entrance is outside of the mall so there's no need to trek through the mall just to get your fro-yo. The shop offers 14 flavors of self-serve yogurt at $0.54 per ounce and is made from Menchie's Private Label Collection. There is always a great variety to choose from to and some of their permanent flavors include chocolate, vanilla, I Dream Of Cookies 'n' Cream and plain tart as well as a rotation of different sorbet and NSA flavors. They also keep Mudslide Pie as a permanent flavor which is a little odd to me, but evidently it's the owner's favorite. There are different featured flavors every month, so there is always something new and exciting to look forward to. While I enjoy the product itself, I do not appreciate a company that doesn't stand behind it's own coupons. I had a Groupon coupon for $10 that expired on Nov 22nd, today. When I went in to get promotional value yogurt they refused to honor it. The clerk said that it was already expired and her computer didn't recognize it as valid. Where on earth does any coupon expire the day BEFORE the date of expiration on the coupon? Nowhere. It should have been honored until the end of business on the day of expiration. So congrats. My yogurt was valued at $9.88 and that $4.88 that I had to pay due to the promotional value not being honored just cost you my almost weekly business. One of the best things about Menchie's is their clear labeling of ingredients and allergens next to each frozen yogurt dispenser. This is important to people who are concerned about common allergens (wheat/eggs/etc..) and is relieving to see for the concerned parent. Service is always good at this location and I always use the Menchie's rewards card to build on our customer/business relationship. It is in a nice location attached to the mall, so our usual routine is to go to Menchie's prior to the mall. read more
