Today I just felt like I needed a good old sweet treat after a quick run to Wegmans for my weekly staples... I LOVE IT kind of waffle bowl filled with French Vanilla...strawberries, EXTRA strawberries, white chocolate chips and marshmallows. Yes, indeed. I made it to cycling 3 times this week so I was showing off tonight! Hahahaaaa!!! I have no complex about the location...clean, 2 people working and I'm sure they were ready to get off and then to see my happy self coming through the doors- they probably felt some time of way lol...Lord knows I would have...but I hope my energy rubbed off on them and my tip made it worth the while to them! I haven't been to a Cold Stone Creamery that I haven't liked. The ice cream cakes are delicious, the cookie ice cream sandwiches are my favorite. The fully edible cupcakes are great. The least favorite is the peanut butter Reese's cupcakes. They make me too thirsty and have too much peanut butter for my liking. This is the first CSC that I've been to with other options. They had cake pops, caramel apples, cookies, and other sweets. It's definitely the best looking one I've been to and with the most variety of items. It's far from where I live but I stumbled upon it visiting a relative. I definitely recommend it. It's well lit so the ambiance is pleasant and the service is very pleasant. My fanily comes here, but I'm partial to Brusters. Well, I attempted to make a custom order online; however, there were NO descriptions of the base flavors. I ended up getting the Apple Pie a la Cold Stone, and it was pretty basic. Canned apple pie filling, prepared Graham cracker cryst broken up and squeezr caramel drizzle. The ice cream here is the bomb! The ambiance is fine but the location of this place sucks terribly as it's right at the corner of a very congested area. The bad review is for the customer service you receive even when ordering ahead online. I am very disappointed in how I was treated and it appears to be consistent. The workers show apathy towards the customers, they don't greet you, they just stare at you and then after waiting mins to pick up your order--just say 'what's the name?' I was fortunate to have one of the team members (thanks sis ;) ) assist with my order but everyone else looked past me as if I didn't exist. My Mama wanted Coldstone so I went about 8:00pm! And let me tell you the customer service by Destiny was greeat! She made eye contact, very welcoming, she & a coworker spoke Highly about the new flavor Cinnamon Roll Bliss and the Banana Pudding milkshake from Chick-fil-A very conversational & laughter. I tried a sample definitely wasn't bad at all. My Mom got the founder's favorite cheesecake ice cream mixed with strawberry w all the founder's favorite toppings with strawberry syrup on the side. My Boyfriend got the Cinnamon Roll Bliss but got cookie dough instead of cake or cookie dough ice cream one of those! Lol. The ambience was cleaned ,several ppl were sitting down and a lot of foot traffic coming in & out and it was a niiiice night to be out and for ice cream! . I visited the establishment, ordered my former favorite "Founders Favorite" in the size "like it" and was highly disappointed. This is considered a small portion. The clerk did a piss-poor job at making it. I wound up getting a portion much smaller for the full amount $8.47. When I bought it yo his attention he acted as if my concern was unwarranted. I reached out to Corp to give my feedback and their response was everything is done by weight without taking the time to actually look into the serving size. Every time I come here the line is sooo long because the workers move soooo slow. Finally getting through the line today I saw a sign advertising the new pumpkin ice cream so I decided to try it. I ordered my ice cream and told the girl what I wanted she asks me what is it? I repeat my order. She asks her coworker and then comes back to ask me what's inside of the apple of my pumpkin pie! I don't work here how am I supposed to know! She gets an attitude and puts her hand on her head and then goes in the back..... Fast forward I finally get my ice cream and it's MESSY! We spent $32 on caramel apples and chocolate. After eating dinner, we treated ourselves to a caramel apple and weighted chocolate from "Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory". After chewing the KEY LIME MACADAMIA BEAR, I thought there was Caramel on my lip lingering, I pulled out a straight /ending curly small piece of hair. I IMMEDIATELY called the store and spoke with Kaylin(shift manager). She asked I take a pic and send a picture to their email. She explained the chocolates are not made in store and I could come back to replace them...... I went in the following day with my entire order in hand with the receipt and the manager, an Asian woman came out with a note(presumably from the supervisor the day before). She looked through all 3 bags to verify I brought back all the items with HAIR in them and wanted to use the same gloves to pick the replacement chocolate. It's June 16 2022. Why can't they provide indoor seating when it's 90+ degrees out?!! If tables aren't allowed due to Covid restrictions at least a few chairs? The inside is pretty large so I think management is just choosing not to provide seating. When I'm paying $17 for 1 like it and 1 love it, with 1 mix-in each, I'd appreciate having a place to sit down with my 5 year old to enjoy our ice cream. Definitely won't be back. read more

This is probably the most inefficient Coldstone in the area. Not sure if this is under the same franchise as the one previously at the BLVD but this Coldstone is not great when it comes to customer service of efficiency. On 8/5/2019 there were 3 people working, which is way more than normal and we waited about 15minutes before anybody even asked for orders, and we were 3rd in line from the person who was next. Finally they started to greet people but we were then informed that the wait was due to Online orders being processed first. Overall be expecting to wait about 30mins to get ice cream on a cloudy day with 3people working. read more

Very friendly staff. They were so helpful with kids selecting options. They even offered me another option of getting a smoothie because I only do dairy free. Did an online order through their app, had my daughter pick it up and when she got it to me it was COMPLETELY WRONG!!! I called and told them I would like a refund, and my order made over. I was so excited to learn that a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory opened up in Lanham. I visited Cold Stone Creamery/Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory that's next door to the Nordstrom Rack today. The ice cream was good; however, the owners need to add more caramel to the apples. I've never had the candy apples from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory that weren't good. You could literally see the apples, even though they had caramel and peanuts on it. Not a fan! read more
