So when he found out that there was a store literally a mile from our new house, he was not persuaded by any of the other fancy, local outlets and asked that we go here instead. Since ice cream is ice cream to me, I relented. Staff was very friendly and while the process here can be a bit slow, they did the best with the gaggle of ice cream lovers before them and kept things moving as best they could. My Reese's shake was excellent and his Founder's Favorite was as good as always to him. It was rather annoying that the door wouldn't stay closed and as such, the chime was going off constantly. Staff was not worried about it, leading me to believe it's a regular occurrence and has me a bit concerned about ongoing maintenance. read more

CONSTANTLY DISAPPOINTED. Unfortunately this is the closest Cold Stone to me and I get disappointed when I order my cakes here annually. There is ALWAYS a problem with my orders and this one was the worst. I had pickup time set to 12pm. We arrived at 12:40p thinking it wouldn't be a big deal. Cake was not ready. No big deal for us, as we could find something to do. We told the staff we can come back at 3pm. We came back at 3pm and it was still not ready. They made us wait 20-30 more mins to receive this cake with HORRIBLE writing and inedible frosting. I took it off right when I got home. How can this be acceptable? I am incredibly disappointed with both the mistake and, more importantly, how it was handled. We ordered a red velvet birthday cake for my son's party because that was the one thing he specifically wanted. When we cut into the cake in front of all of our guests, we discovered it was vanilla instead of red velvet. It completely took away from his special day. By the time we realized the mistake, we had a room full of people ready for cake. We weren't going to stop the party, load the cake back into the car, and leave our guests waiting. We did what any reasonable family would do--we served the cake because there was no practical alternative. When I contacted Cold Stone afterward, I expected them to take responsibility and issue a full refund for the product we paid for but did not receive. Instead, I was told they would not refund the cake because we had eaten it, and they offered 50% off another cake as a "solution." That is completely unacceptable. We paid for a red velvet cake. We did not receive a red velvet cake. The fact that we had no choice but to serve the incorrect cake at our son's birthday party should not eliminate your responsibility to make it right. Offering 50% off a future purchase means I'm expected to spend even more money after your business made the mistake. Mistakes happen. What defines a business is how they respond when they make one. Unfortunately, the customer service was just as disappointing as the error itself. A birthday can't be redone. We paid for one of the most important parts of our son's celebration and received the wrong product. Service was sooo slooow!... and I don't know why. You're not manufacturing the ice cream in shop. You're just scooping it in a cup, bowl or cone. There were only a couple of customers ahead of us so it just didn't make any sense. Ended up spending/wasting a little over $60. Most of the ice cream was good a small amount of the ice cream tasted of freezer burn, all of which was overpriced in my opinion. Off the top of my head, I can name five different/better ice cream shops to satisfy my sweet tooth. Cold Stone Creamery is a well known chain that specializes in Ice cream, shakes, and other frozen desserts. We were close by so we hit them before close. The outlet was clean-ish, meaning that it's been a long day here with a slew of customers. There was a bunch of loose ingredients on the prep line, like a topping war had just taken place. The finished product was a bowl full of decent ice cream and toppings. The staff seemed to be just ok but it was 15 minutes before close and they probably had an earful from difficult customers all day long. Went in and the wait was long. I ordered an Oreo ice cream with gummy bears and whipped cream. When I got it, there were no Oreos, so I politely asked the employee if they had forgotten them. She replied, "There should be," then took my ice cream back and crushed a single Oreo on top. It still didn't include the gummy bears or whipped cream that I had ordered. The store is under new ownership and they have fully remodeled it. Now, the store is super nice, clean and inviting. The staff is very friendly, nice, helpful and very generous with portions. I couldn't finish my ice cream, because they put so much , they are very generous, which is very rare these days at other places,but not with this Cold Stone location. They definitely make good ice cream creations! With tons of each mix-ins for the perfect ratio with each bite. They have a lot of different flavors to choose from and they also have shakes and smoothies. My favorite is sweet cream and cake better ,mixed in with coconut flakes and white chocolate chips. So yummy ! They also have a lot of ice-cream cakes to choose from in the fridge and they all look great. Overall: the ice cream is definitely a five star , so delicious and yummy. I originally wanted to build my own, but they did not have yellow cake or golden Oreos available, which I was disappointed about. The staff member began creating my order and was training someone. As he was making my order, he needed to stop and help her ring me up. By the time I got my ice cream it was melted... That was disappointing. I did take it home and placed into the freezer to harden. Haven't been here in 2 years. There's so many ice cream places around the competition has kept us away. Not to mention customer service is usually "eh" here. We came here today (6-11-25) because I wanted an ice cream I only get custom from cold stone, and apparently sign says "under new management" but it's an old sign so I'm not sure how long ago new management changed. Anyways, there were three workers on clock. Two of them were servicing customers. Those two people, (Asian female/ Hispanic male) I'm sorry to describe them this way I do not know their names and was too irritated to get them after our experience. But, both seemed irritated to help us or let us try a couple samples of their new flavors. Mangonado with Tajin and Oreo birthday cake. My family of 6 and I shared 2 samples because the annoyance was obvious on their end from the time we walked in, so we didn't bother asking for more than one sample of each. At this point my teenager agreed to getting a flavor she didn't want because she didn't want to bother them to change a flavor. Both of her parents being bartenders and servers she understands customer service as well as being a gracious customer. Before leaving I could see it wasn't the flavor she wanted, based on being afraid to ask for the sample of the one she wanted. The two workers made us feel unwelcome. Before leaving, I ended up buying another ice cream for her, since she told me before we left she didn't really want the flavor she got. That annoyed me because they didn't deserve me to patron with more of my money. I normally get for myself a specific custom flavor from there, that I've been getting for years, which was why I made the trip here after two years, but was not in the mood to order my personalized flavor. The customer service was awful. They were rushing us to order asking what else we wanted every ten seconds while they saw us still looking at the flavors and menu. I, in fact didn't get mixins today on our ice creams because I was not trying to make them work harder or give better customer service than they intended to. My kids were uncomfortable being in there. As a person who works in the service industry, this was one time I did not decide to tip. If it's hard to do your job, maybe look for a different line of work. Cold stone is literally supposed to be an experience, compared to other ice cream shops, and we had a bad very bad one. Giving zero stars is more accurate of a rating. So annoyed I didn't take pictures like I normally do for my reviews. The owner or GM should be aware but doubtful they pay attention to these reviews. read more

First time at this particular Cold Stone. The sign lights weren't on after dark so we weren't sure if they were closing soon, but apparently the lights were just not on. The lobby area and tables were clean enough, but not great. The seats had rips etc. The staff was very nice and did a good job with our orders. I did try to order a Love It size shake and was told that size wasn't available. The milkshake ended up tasting fine but was more milk than ice cream. My friend and I visited this location twice, and we were pretty much the only customers both times. Now I understand why. On our first visit, we waited to be served for about 10 minutes while the employee who was supposed to be staffing the counter sat in the back room and played on his phone. Not the best first impression, but whatever; he was friendly when he did finally help us and it's not like we were in a hurry anyway. The second time we visited, we went to use a coupon that specifically indicated that it was only valid for that particular location. When we showed up, the employee who was working claimed that the manager knew nothing about it and had told him not to honor any coupons. How is that possible when the coupon had the address literally printed on the coupon with a message stating that it was ONLY valid at that specific location? Oh, and like other reviewers have said, I guess the manager also knows nothing about cleaning, keeping ice cream frozen, or how to order inventory, because it's true that it doesn't look especially clean inside, they were out of a ton of flavors, and our ice cream was kind of a soupy mess. Oh, and if you're part of the rewards program? Yeah, they won't honor that either. The computer screen at the register doesn't even work. Not my favorite ice cream place but the kids really like it. When it comes to rewards for good behavior and good grades this is our hang out. Also had great service by some very cool teenagers that took their work seriously and made everyone happy. $20 for a waffle cone and a small shake. Very disappointing walking in here seeing how dirty the place is. Instead of sitting in the back, maybe the workers can look around to see how filthy the tables are and wipe down the ice cream glass displays. Store was dirty, slamming my ice cream cups in the counter, I'm accustomed to my original cold stone (which is currently closed due to moving locations ) bagging all my items and he handed me all the bags when finished.
